The purpose of this study is to evaluate the power consumption reduction by surface temperature control by comparing and evaluating the power consumption of electric heated mats with controlled electricity consumption through surface temperature control using smart plugs. As a result, for A House, power consumption of CASE 1 using smart plug was reduced by about 58.2% compared to CASE 2(existing case). And the electricity consumption of CASE 1 was decreased by about 33.6% compared to CASE 2 in B House.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of surface heat transfer resistance in the evaluation fo the condensation prevention performance of wall joints. According to the surface heat transfer resistance value at the corner, the surface temperature largely differed by 3℃, and the TDR value showed a difference of 0.08. This is an sensitive value for evaluating the satisfaction of the criterion, and it requires accurate results if possible. Therefore, the standard for the surface heat transfer resistance value for the TDR calculation of wall joints need to be revised.
통계 분석을 통한 내, 외단열 공동주택 벽-슬라브 접합부 열교부위의 선형 열관류율 예측에 관한 연구

In Korean apartment buildings, internal insulation system is usually applied, so the layer of insulation is disconnected due to structural component at wall-slab and wall-wall joints in envelope. In particular, the amount of heat loss is significant at the wall-slab joints adjacent to hot water heating pipes. In Europe, EPBD(Energy Performance of Buildings Directive) came into effect, and national building energy performance evaluation tool is needed for issuing EPC(Energy Performance Certificate). Though thermal bridges are not explicitly mentioned in EPBD, they are included in the calculation of building energy performance. Linear thermal transmittance is required for energy performance calculation including the effect of these thermal bridges and it should be calculated by an expert with an experience of 2-D heat transfer simulation. If a non-expert can get a linear thermal transmittance without complex calculation, it would be very helpful. So, in this way, in most of European nations, simplified assessment methods for thermal bridges are provided in the national building energy performance evaluation standard. In this study, the regression models which predict linear thermal transmittances for three types of wall-slab joints (internal insulation, internal insulation with subsidiary insulation under slab, and external insulation) are suggested. 2-D heat transfer simulations were performed to calculate linear thermal transmittances for several variables, and then regression equations were derived, which showed a good match with 2-D heat transfer simulation results with p values <0.0001. These regression models can be used for the building energy performance calculation including the effects of thermal bridges.

To develop the energy-efficient radiant floor heating system at apartment housing of district heating from a point of view of the improvement of air quality and the enhancement of system efficiency, it is necessary to evaluate the thermal output and temperature drop in radiant heating panel according to the various design water flow rate and supply water temperature. Recently ISO developed the international standards regarding the comfort criteria which should be considered in designing embedded radiant heating and cooling systems, steady-state calculation methods for determination of the heating and cooling capacity and design and dimensioning methods of radiant heating and cooling systems to ensure the heating and cooling capacity. We have reviewed the design processes of radiant floor heating system and evaluated the thermal output through the dynamic simulation of 3D Physibel software.
국내외 주거용 건물 열교부위 단열성능 규정 현황 및 개선 방안 제안

To improve the energy performance of these joints in apartment building envelopes, regulations related the insulation performance of thermal bridges should be supplemented. So in this study, improvement schemes of building regulations related the energy performance in Korean apartment buildings are suggested.

As the national regulation of building performance is getting tightened, the importance of thermal bridges is increasing. In this study, linear thermal transmittances of wall-slab joints of internally and externally insulated walls are calculated, and the ratio of heat transfer through thermal bridge to total heat transfer through the wall is calculated to compare the influence of thermal bridge on the insulation performance degradation of the wall by the U-value levels.
