        According to the result of recent studies, it was revealed that the error of safety-related personnel still plays a significant role in the accidents and/or incidents of a railway system. Accordingly, in order to reduce as well as prevent human errors, it is necessary to: (1) identify the root cause of accidents/incidents, and (2) conduct a research that can provide a systematic as well as an effective way to deal with the identified human errors. To this end, it is essential to suggest appropriate countermeasures based on the result of a task load analysis, which can soundly reduce a high level of the task load put on safety-related personnel. In the light of this concern, about the tasks of railway traffic signallers, a detailed task analysis was conducted in this study. After that, the associated task load scores were quantified by NASA-TLX technique that is one of the most well-known subjective workload measurement techniques. As a result, a set of significant tasks that could put a high task load on railway traffic signallers was identified.

        위치기반 피지컬 소셜네트워크 서비스 디자인개발 사례연구 : 도시 일상에서의 위치기반 피지컬 소셜네트워크 서비스 크로스미디어 플랫폼 디자인

        디지털 시대를 살아가는 사회 구성원들에게 가상공간(online)에서의 경험은 나날이 그 영향력을 키워 가고 있다. SNS(Social Network Service)를 통한 다양한 인간관계 형성이 그 대표적 예라할 수 있는데 이와 같은 순기능과 더불어 발생하는 가상공간(virtual)에서의 경험과 실제 일상(physical)에서의 경험간 불균형에 의한 역기능은 사회 구성원들이 함께 풀어야할 과제로 남고 있다. 본 연구에서는 버스 정류장과 같은 사회 공공 인프라와 사회 구성원들이 항시 휴대하는 스마트폰간의 Cross Media Platform을 디자인하고 이를 매체(medium)로 사용하여 (스마트폰과 포터블피시의 빠른 보급과 함께 더욱 활성화 되고 있는) SNS의 서비스 영역을 오프라인으로 확장(out of the box)하고 온라인과 오프라인 간 균형을 이뤄내는 일상에서의 직접(face to face)경험을 제공하는 위치기반(locative) 물리적(physical) SNS를 디자인(initial design)하여 SNS의 역기능을 극복하고자 하였다. 또한 사용자들의 다양한 채널을 통한 정보생성 정보공유 활동기반 지속가능(Sustainable)방식을 사용함으로 사회 구성원들의 시스템 참여와 이를 통한 능동적(active) 소통을 유도하였다. In this extreme digital era it is very easy that people gets seduced by technology thus losing contact with the physical world. social networking service would be the typical example of losing touch with the physical dimension of our life. Purpose of this project is bringing social network out of the box and make it feasible for our daily life supporting face to face communication between social members to enrich our urban daily routine by fulfilling ever strong people's needs of communication. My exploration starts from the potentiality of using a cross media platform in urban public places such as bus stations or subway stations for creating a system that can fulfil people's needs for communication based on their behaviour and the specific interaction context. Using provided or user generated real-time data for enriching user experience is the key element of the system that allows people to access cross media platform in more efficient and sustainable manners. Conceived interaction modality can be used as well for such as information services dispatched at lower awareness level context. However contexts;'daily commuters to express him or herself,''creating game experiences in urban environment' or'sharing traffic experience' are the main area of exploration. Further layer of exploration is'enhancing commercial advertisement communication' as a yet another test bed for the system.

        위치기반 실시간 지식공유 스마트모바일 어플리케이션 서비스 디자인개발 사례연구

        오늘날 정보사회 구성원들은 매체환경의 다양화 속에서 정보 생성과 수용 방식의 다양화를 통해 적극적 정보공유자로서 역할을 수행하고 있다. 스마트 모바일의 빠른 사용자확대로 발생한 다양한 정보 생성의 즉시성은 원하는 정보에 대한 자유로운 접근성을 열어 주었으며 동시에 사용자들에게 지속적 그리고 산발적으로 생산되는 정보의 홍수 속에서 방대한 양의 정보를 관리해야하는 업무를 부여하였다. 본 연구는 정보생산자와 수용자가 정보를 생산하고 공유하는 과정을 일회성 정보 수용경험에서 발전시켜 사용자에게 유익한 지식생성과 공유경험으로 변환되도록 돕는 시스템에 관한 연구이다. 현장에서 사용자가 자신의 경험을 통해 얻어진 정보를 스마트 모바일 어플리케이션을 사용하여 지정된 그룹(closed group)내 사용자들과 실시간 공유하고 소통하는 위치기반(location based) 실시간 지식공유 서비스의 기획과 초기설계에 관한 개발사례로서 정보사회의 핵심요소로서의 모바일 어플리케이션의 역할과 지식공유 관련 모바일 어플리케이션서비스의 문제점을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 효과적 지식공유를 위한 스마트모바일 어플리케이션을 디자인 하였다. 어플리케이션의 구체화와 효과적 지식공유를 위해 지정그룹(closed group)의 현장(on location) 경험을 틀로 설정하고 시스템을 설계하였으며 다양한 페르소나(persona)그룹을 사용한 다이어그램과 영상 시나리오제작 등을 통한 서비스 접점(touch point)에서의 사용자 경험의 검증이 이루어 졌다. In this information society social members are fully exposed to multimedia environment and taking an active role in producing information which means nowadays people are related to information as not only consumers but also providers. Remarkably fast growing smart mobile industry is helping people to produce information instantly and spontaneously. In this social circumstance it is easy that people get to encounter overwhelming quantity of information with or without their intention and obligated with responsibility of managing huge amount of information. Throughout this study the system that helps to make the role of information valuable enough to enrich people's experience which let information act as certain knowledge not as temporal isolated use has been developed. Using the system people can share information produced by their own realtime on location experience within designated people that is to say this study is about the initial design of realtime location based knowledge sharing system that can enrich people's experience of certain service or location within closed group of people. Current mobile applications related to knowledge sharing has been explored with a problem setting process. Scenario has been developed based on various persona group to verify it's usability at every touch point throughout certain service experience.

        피지컬인터페스를 사용한 감성적 사용자 경험 디자인 : 착용가능기술을 사용한 액세서리 디자인 프로토타이핑

        융합(convergence)의 시대를 살아가는 우리에게 융합 분야 중 하나인 착용가능기술(wearable technology)은 사람의 몸과 주변 요소들 간 인터랙션(interaction)을 만들고 우리 삶에서 새로운 경험을 이끌어 낸다는 면에서 주목 받고 있으며 우리 삶에서의 그 영향력을 더해가고 있다. 본 연구에서는 피지컬컴퓨팅(physical computing)과 패션(fashion)의 융합이란 관점에서 착용가능기술을 고찰하고 피지컬컴퓨팅의 주요소인 센서의 입력-처리-출력의 에너지 변환 개념이 활용된 디자인의 프로토타이핑(prototyping)을 진행 하였다. 프로토타이핑과정을 통해 연구된 디자인은 피지컬인터페이스를 사용한 감성적 경험 디자인으로서 사용자에게 별도의 조작 없이 생활 속에서 자연스럽게 SNS의 하나인 트위터를 경험하는 빛 센서(phototransistor)를 내장한 액세서리이다. 오늘날 다양한 방향으로 활발히 연구되어지고 있는 의복관련 착용가능기술에서 한발 더 나아가 패션액세서리와의 활용을 연구하고 그 산물의 제품으로서 실용화 가능성을 가늠 하고자 하였다. In this era of media convergence wearable technology formulates the interaction between the human body(apparel) and the near environment becomes the next big challenge. As the result of the convergence between physical computing and fashion design wearable technology is broadening it's territory into our future life experience. Throughout this study research has been proceeded over physical computing and wearable technology under purpose of understanding the concept and exploring technology behind in relation with physical computing. Also a prototype has been built which is a phototransistor builtin accessory design activates twitter communication through physical interface with all technology hidden for better user experience.

      • 국내 철도사고 및 운행장애의 인적오류 유형 분석

        Human error is one of the major contributors to the railway accidents or incidents. In order to develop an effective countermeasure to remove or reduce human errors, a systematic analysis should be preferentially performed to identify their causes, characteristics, and types of human error induced in accidents or incidents. This paper introduces a case study for human error analysis of the railway accidents and incidents. For the case study, more than 1,000 domestic railway accidents or incidents that happened during the year of 2004 have been investigated and a detailed error analysis was performed on the selected 90 cases, which were obviously caused by human error. This paper presents a classification structure for human error analysis, and summarizes the analysis results such as causes of the events, error modes and types, related worker, and task type.

        Railway accidents/incidents occur because of many reasons. Human error by the railway staff or personnel takes a major part of those reasons. In order to reduce and prevent railway accidents/incidents, appropriate measures should be developed to remove root causes induced in human error. A systematic study for analysing causes of human errors and for developing an effective management is necessary. Detailed analysis of the railway traffic signaller"s tasks should be preferentially performed for this purpose. This paper introduces the results of analysis for the types and characteristics of the railway traffic signaller"s tasks. As a result of the analysis, the railway traffic signaller"s tasks can be decomposed into 24 tasks in total, and also be divided into the general task and the emergency task. The railway traffic signaller"s tasks are characterized to require continual confirmation and observation activities, and sometimes immediate decision and action.

        In order to prevent railway accidents due to human errors which have been recognized to be the most important cause in the railway accidents, human errors should have been controlled based on systematical analysis of the human errors, and countermeasures should be derived to reduce human error probability. Among several factors inducing human errors, task load (or task complexity) is representative. In order to reduce the human error, a systematic analysis should be undertaken to evaluate task load. In this study, task load according to task types of railway worker who are a safety critical staff have been quantitatively analyzed based on NASA-TLX(Task Load Index).

        광어껍질을 활용한 펩신가수분해물 제조공정 최적화와 피부건강 기능성

        Low-molecular weight peptides derived from fish collagen exhibit several bioactivities, including antioxidant, antiwrinkle, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, and antihypertension effects. These peptides are also involved in triglyceride suppression and memory improvement. This study aimed to investigate the optimal processing condition for preparing low-molecular weight peptides from flounder skin, and the properties of the hydrolysate. The optimal processing conditions for peptic hydrolysis were as follows: a ratio of pepsin to dried skin powder of 2% (w/w), pH of 2.0, and a temperature of 50°C. Peptic hydrolysate contains several low-molecular weight peptides below 300 Da. Gly–Pro–Hyp(GPHyp) peptide, a process control index, was detected only in peptic hydrolysate on matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time-of-flight(MALDI-TOF) spectrum. 2,2’-azinobis-(3-3-ethylbenzothiazolline-6- sulfonic acid(ABTS) radical scavenging activity of the peptic hydrolysate was comparable to that of 1 mM ascorbic acid, which was used as a positive control at pH 5.5, whereas collagenase inhibition was five times higher with the peptic hydrolysate than with 1 mM ascorbic acid at pH 7.5. However, the tyrosinase inhibition ability of the peptic hydrolysate was lower than that of arbutin, which was used as a positive control. The antibacterial effect of the peptic hydrolysate against Propionibacterium acne was not observed. These results suggest that the peptic hydrolysate derived from a flounder skin is a promising antiwrinkle agent that can be used in various food and cosmetic products to prevent wrinkles caused by ultraviolet radiations.

        The vehicle development processes have been transformed from product-centered to user-centered processes. This study introduces the perceived quality models of car interior function parts, which are developed for improvement of the customer usability, tested in the perspective of a practical user through benchmarking and SWOT analysis. The result will be suggested to the car interior cockpit designer. Then it will be applied to the guidelines of the vehicle development phases to enhance the subjective customer satisfaction for the usability of the car interior function parts.

        광어껍질 펩신 가수분해물 유래 콜라게네이즈 저해 펩타이드의 서열분석과 분자도킹

        본 연구는 광어껍질 pepsin 가수분해물의 collagenase 활성을 제해하는 펩타이드를 확인하고 collagenase 활성 저해능을 평가할 목적으로 수행하였다. Collagenase 저해 펩타이드는 이온교환, 겔 여과 및 역상크로마토그래피를 사용하여 정제하였다. MALDI-TOF 질량분석 스펙트럼에서 7개의 펩타이드 Gln-Phe(293 Da), Val-Ile-Cys-Glu(462 Da), Arg-Gly-Glu(360 Da), Val-Asp-Leu(345 Da), Gly-Pro-Met(303 Da), Gly-Ser-Ala-Pro-Glu(459 Da) 및 Arg-Leu(287 Da)를 확인하였다. LC-Q-TOF 질량분광계를 사용한 서열분석에서 6개의 비교적 긴 아미노산 서열의 펩타이드를 확인하였다. 펩타이드의 아미노산 서열은 Ⅰ형 콜라겐 알파-1 사슬(UniProtKB-Q5NT96)에서 확인하여 광어껍질에서 유래함을 검증하였다. 펩타이드 Val-Ile-Cys-Glu는 in silico 분자토킹에서 가장 높은 83.9의 GOLD score와 83.25±14.03%의 collagenase 저해 활성능을 보였다. 광어껍질 가수분해 제조공정 관리를 위한 지표물질로 Gly-Pro-Hyp의 정량법을 검정하였다. Pepsin 가수분해물 3 lot의 Gly-Pro-Hyp 평균 함량은 156 μg/g이었다. 이 같은 결과는 광어껍질 유래 pepsin 가수분해물이 저분자 펩타이드에 기인한 높은 collagenase 활성 저해능을 보이며 항주름 기능을 위한 식품첨가제와 기능성 식품 조성물로 사용될 수 있음을 제시한다. Bioactive peptides were isolated from the peptic hydrolysate of flounder skin using chromatographic methods, and their amino acid sequence was identified. The collagenase inhibitory ability of the hydrolysate was evaluated. Seven peptides, including Gln-Phe, Val-Ile-Cys-Glu, Arg-Gly-Glu, Val-Asp-Leu, Gly-Pro-Met, Gly-Ser-Ala-Pro-Glu, and Arg-Leu, were identified using matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry. Six peptides in the range of 6 to 18 amino acid residues were identified using LC/quadrupole time-of-flight (Q-TOF) mass spectrometry. All the peptides were verified on the type I collagen α-1 chain obtained from the Bastard halibut of Unitprot (www.uniprot.org) (code number: Q5NT96). Analysis of the seven peptides from the MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry was carried out using in silico simulation tools, and four peptides were further assessed for their potential collagenase inhibitory activities. The amino acid sequence of Val-Ile-Cys-Glu showed the highest GOLD score of 83.9 in in silico molecular docking and inhibited the collagenase activity up to 83% compared to control. Gly-Pro-Hyp, a quality index for the product, was also verified by the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method and measured 156 μg/g in the hydrolysate. These results suggest that the peptic hydrolysate from flounder skin contains small peptides with high collagenase inhibitory activity. This hydrolysate may find application as a food material or as an ingredient in skin products with an anti-wrinkle function.
