        표피성의 미학과 외설성: 영화 <디-워>(D-War)를 중심으로

        This paper analyzes the film D-War(Hyung-Rae Sim 2007) under the perspective of the aesthetic of the superficiality. The superficiality of the film is an aesthetic phenomenon, which results from the use of the new technology, CGI(computer graphic imagery). Fredric Jameson relates this new aesthetic to the new technology and the Late Capitalism. Since the 1980s, it has been the general tendency to produce films with the new digital technology. Therefore we can find today readily this aesthetic phenomenon in almost all films. But this essay deals specially with the film D-War, because it may show us the most among the Korean films today, what the superficiality, or the depthlessness is. In this film, we can find the superficiality at the level of the time, the space, and the affect. The space of the film is constructed like the hyperspace, which is characterized through the depthlessness and confusion. The time structure seems to be schizophrenic. It gives rise to the confusion and causes the lack of the narrative. And the affect of the characters in the film is substituted by the special effect. For that reason, the intensive light and the magic of the special effect stand in the foreground instead of the special affect of the human beings. It leads also to the depthlessness of the affect. We can observe this aesthetic phenomenon above all at the spectacle of these films. The spectacle becomes nowadays the object of the sublime and the enjoyment, or jouissance. But at the same time, the aesthetic of the spectacle has the obscene character, because the spectacle substitutes the narrative and the figures of the film for the intensity of the technological ability and then it captivates spectators, so that they cannot but enjoy it without resistance against it, as is usually the case with the pornography. Today, we can find readily this tendency, when we watch the films, which are produced by the great capital not only in the USA but also in Korea.

      • A SUMMARY ON THE PAPERS ABOUT VISION TECHNIQUES FOR ROBOTS

        본 원고는 최근에 전자공학분야중 세계적으로 많은 관심과 주의를 끌고 있는 Robot공학에 관한 것으로써 Robot의 주류를 이루고 있는 Point-to Point방식의 단순한 Robot를 고성능의, 자기 스스로 Processing하는 Robot로 개발하기 위해 소위 Artificial Intelligence를 주는, 즉 외부정보를 입력시키기 위해 사용되는 감각기관중 Vision system (or Computer vision)에 관한 논문들을 종합 분석한 것이다. Robot에 사용되는 Vision process는 1) Sensing 2) Seqmentation 3) description 4) recognition 그리고 5) Interpretation으로 나눌 수 있으며 1) Sensing은 ① Image devices ② Imaging Methods 그리고 ③ Illumination으로 나누어 설명할 수 있고 2) Segmentation은 ① Edge detection방식 ② Thresholding방식 ③ Region Crowing방식으로 나눌 수 있으며 3) Description은 도형인식을 위한 feature의 추출로써 ①Shape ②Amplitude로 나누어 설명된다. 또한 4) Recognition은 ① Decision-theoretic Technique ② Structual Technique로 대별되며 Interpretation은 개념과 성능에 따라 ① Low level ② Medium level ③ High level vision system으로 설명된다. 이 Vision system은 Pattern Recognition분야에 속하는 것으로 그 전망이 매우 밝으며 그 결과가 매우 기대된다. 본 원고는 필자가 1982년 8월부터 1984년 2월까지 미국 Northwestern university의 교환교수로 재직하던 중 Robot system과 Pattern Recognition을 연구하기 위하여 기초작업으로 참고문헌을 수집, 분석하던 중, 연구 준비 과정으로 그곳 대학교에서 Semin x를 통하여 발표하였던 것을 본 대학교공과 대학생과 대학원생들 중 Robotics와 Pattern Recognition분야에 관심을 가진 학생들을 위하여 제공하게 되었으며 특히 윗부분의 Reference는 많은 도움을 줄 것으로 사료된다.

      • 超小型 電子計算機 建國-1의 인터페이스에 關한 硏究(Ⅰ)

        Since Intel 4004 microprocessor was introduced in 1971, microprocessors have been widely used in the fields of the measurements, the consumer electronics and especially the controls. A new era of the scientific culture is realized by microprocessors. In this paper, the studies are concentrated oil the interface of microcomputer system KON-KUK-1 with a black and white televison instead of an exclusive C.R.T monitor. Microcomputer system KON -KUK-1 uses M6800 microprocessor. T. V interface is consisted of an address/data buffer part, a video RAM and a character generator part, a horizontal and a vertical synchronized circuit part and a shift register part. Test program are drawn up and executed for the sake of confirming the behavior of T. V interface board. As a result, it is proved that T.V can be used as I/O device for microcomputer system. Moreover, It is found that test program is adopted simply to other microcomputer and microcomputer system.

      • 도형인식을 위한 Scene Analysis에 관한 연구

        In this paper, it was studied about the process of the scene representation for the pattern recognition. First of all, it was transformed an analog picture into a digital picture using a C.C.T.V. camera, and then digital data were represented by adopting the spatial smoothing method to get rid of the noise effect. Using the spatial differentiation method, the digital data were represented again to find a outline of figures for the pattern recognition. It was developed the algorithm of the pattern recognition and was developed also the soft-ware of this algorithm for microcomputer system. It was found that the result of this algorithm was agreed well with the theory.

      • LP方法을 利用한 音聲信號의 解析

        Recently, the study on the analysis or the synthesis of speech signals for the computer system and the artificial intelligence was performed before the footlight. In this paper, it was dealt with the analysis of speech signals. In many varieties of techniques for the speech signal processing, it was adapted the L.P. method which was one of the most widely used and the most important techniques. It was studied preprocessings for the speech signal also. It was developed the algorithm of the analysis too. As the results, it were obtained the autocorrelation coefficients and the linear prediction coefficients and it was found that the experment was agreed well with the theory.

      • 三値論理用 加算器回路의 設計에 關한 硏究

        Recently the digital electronic engineering is effected on all fields of the engineering and it is a current tendency that the electronic devices are digitaling. In the paper, Ternary logic theory, a important base of digital electronic engineering, is threated and Ternary logic adder are designed and arranged. Adder circuits which are composed of one NOT gate, DOUBLE NOT gate and a Gate Sellector circuit are analyzed theoretically. It is observed that the circuit, designed have a good operational stability and are simplified in circuit configuration, for the half and the full adder.
