Neutral or alkaline papermaking provides many advantages in paper strength and processing conditions. It also provides the opportunity of using calcium carbonate fillers in papermaking. These diverse advantages have made almost all paper machines of printing and writing papers run under neutral and alkaline conditions. On the other hand, linerboard machines, which use recycled papers as a raw material, are running under acid conditions using a rosin sizing system. Because the recycled raw materials used by the linerboard industry contain significant amounts of alkaline papers, the linerboard industry has an interest in the possibility of using the neutral or alkaline papermaking opportunity. In this study, the compatibility of the recycled linerboards under neutral or alkaline papermaking conditions was examined by recycling them under various pH conditions. The sizing degree of the papers recycled under neutral or alkaline was significantly lower than that of acid formed papers indicating that during the neutral or alkaline recycling process the rosin sized papers lost their sizing efficiency. Recycling of acid formed linerboards under neutral or alkaline conditions increased the amount of foam, and the foam contained substantial amount of solid materials derived from the acid sizing systems. Use of cationic polyelectrolytes including PEI and poly-DADMAC improved the sizing degree of the recycled papers under neutral and alkaline conditions. PEI decreased the foam generation as well while poly-DADMAC did not show any reducing effect of the foam. These results suggest that PEI forms coordinate bonds with rosin acid and precipitate them onto the surface of recycled fibers, while the reaction products between poly-DADMAC and rosin acid ions still remain water soluble under neutral or alkaline conditions.

용접블랭크(Tailor Welded Blank)용접용 레이저의 사용현황은 안정된 Co2 6kW 레이저가 대부분을 차지하고 있으면 1998년 이후 Co2 8kW 레이저의 사용이 두드러지고 있다. 그리고 준비선형(Semo-Non Linear)용접 및 비선형(Non Linear)용접이 요구됨에 따라 Nd;YAG 레이저의 사용이 증가하고 있다.

According to the decision of maritime Inquiry court, during : 1968-1977(10-years), I have researched maritime accident of vessels based on Gun San Harbour. The results are as follows. 1) Most maritime accidents were taken place by seamen's poor operation and unskilled quality. 2) By the aspects, the submersion(52%) and the collesion(28%) is more than any other accident, it occupied 80% of the total. 3) The martime casualties are occured by the type of operation of stow netter, drift gill netter, Small size Bull Trawler, freighter, medium- Bull Trawller. 4) Most accident are taken place frequently at the Scale of 10-30 in stze and at the narrow channel surrounding the coast and Island. 5) Major casualties are broken out during time of 20-05(65%) in restricted visibility. 6) On account of rough weather, strongale, Fog, most casualtis came about.

I have researched maritime accident of fishing vessel according to the decision of inquiry court during 5 years (1976- 1980) 1.The maritime casualties has been represented as the operational fault (54.9%) and unskilled temperament of seamen. 2.The marine accident has been much happened Nov. Mar. by month (50.2%), 20-06 by time (57.1%). 3.By the type, the casualties has been much occured at the rate of collision(43.1%), foundering(23.7%). 4.The accident has happened at the drift gillnetter, stow netter, Bull trawler, carrier, etc. in turn. 5.The accident of Fishing vessel has been occupied 51% less than 50ton, the casualties were much happened at the fairway and shore around the Island, also, the casualties has been happened on strong gale, rough weather, and strong period of ebb tide.

The provision and intake of food and the calorie consumption for the crew and the students were investigated in the training ship (401 Jeonbuk) of Kunsan National Fisheries Jr. College from April 25 to May 8, 1985. The summarized results of this investigation are as follows: 1.Protein, minerals substance in the diet are supplied sufficiently as much as 1.5-36 times with respect to the standard value. On the other hand, Vitamine Bl , Vitamine B2, C and A are provided just a little. 2.The providing heat values in the average 3,015.4 Kcal, 2,903, 2,965.96 and 3,175.61 Kcal in the first, middle and end period respectively, and these values mean that the food stuffs are not supplied evenly. 3.The average calorie of crew (2,869 Kcal) is higher than that of students (2,715 Kcal), amount of the intake of the crew and students are getting increase with the navigation days. 4.The provision selection and the menu improvement are needed with aspect of mutritive effect, because calorie of 79% are provided by way of the principal food such as rice and pulse and so on. 5.The relationship between the intake and consumption calorie shows the balance. 6.The supply of drinking water is sufficient, the weights of crew are not changed, while the weights of students at the day of leaving ship lose about 1.4 kilograms in average compared with that at the day of boarding ship. 7.The rule 3 which is concerned to the regulation of foodstuffs supply for the crew prescribed at the provision 74 of the Seamen Act is thought to be amended as the realistic contents.
