중성어혈약침(中性瘀血藥鍼) 복합치료(複合治療)가 교통사고로 인한 경추 편타손상에 미치는 영향

Objectives : To examine the effects of JSO multi-treatment for whiplash injury patients by traffic accident. Interventions : Nonrandomized, Nonblinded compartson of the JSO+Acupuncture and Acupuncture Treatment. Main Outcome Measures : Subjective evaluation was followed by Clinical Grade and VAS after 5 times treatments. The SPSS 10.0 for windows was used to analyze the date and the Wilcoxon signed rank test and Mann-Whitney U-testwere used to verify the results. Results : The following results were obtained ; 1. Clinical Grade of the JSO+Acupuncture treatment was centralized to Gr II(50%) before treatment. After 5 times treatments, it was centralized to Gr I(58.3%). Also Clinical Grade was significantly changed from GR ll to Gr I(p<0.0002). 2. Clinical Grade of the Acupuncture treatment was centralize(d) to Gr II(54.2%) before treament. After 5 times treament, it was tend to cenualize to Gr I(50%). But Clinical Grade was still remained at Gr II(p<0.001) 3. VAS of change between JSO+Acupuncture and Acupuncture treatment, Vas of JSO+Acupuncture was significantly decreased (p<0.003). C onclusion : It is suggested that JSO multi-treatment has development-effectiveness on whiplash injury patients by traffic accident.

D.I.T.I.로 관찰한 경락약침액(經絡藥鍼液)이 국소체온 변화에 미치는 영향

This study was done to observe the effect on the local thermal change of herbal acupuncture on D.I.T.I.. The study group comprised 23 students who go to Woo-suk university oriental medical school. The study group was divided into three groups. One was NS(NORMAL SALINE) group, another was CF(CARTHAMI SEMEN) group and the other was BU(FEL URSI + BEZOAR BOVIS) group. Herbal Acupuncture fluid was injected on the P'ungmun(B12), P'yesu(B13), Pubun(B41), Paek'o(B42) acupuncture points. In results, the injection of herbal acupuncture fluid has brought out dermatothermal changes. BU group expressed significant changes in 24hours, 48hours, 72hours. The above results indicate that herbal acupuncture fluid has different effects on the dermatothermal change following times. BU group is lastest in duration of physical reactions. We consider that this results are helpful for saying about the effect of herbal acupuncture in clinical use.

구안와사 호전요인에 관한 연구

Objective : In Modern society, patients with facial nerve paralysis are increasing because of many factors - irregular life, cold, overwork and stress etc. We have troubles in presuming the prognosis, though how to diagnosis and examine facial nerve paralysis are many. Methods : A clinical study was done on 89 patients who were diagnosed and treated as facial nerve paralysis(Bell's palsy) from January 2001 to May 2003 at the Dep. of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, college of Oriental Medicine, Woo-suk University. We classified 89 patients as the Sasang(四象) constitution, contributing factor, season, age and existence of diabetes items and analyzed, as we would research differences of changing point-Period from on set of Bell's palsy to the day which the change begins to be seen at the face- and improvement -Period which Bell's palsy is improved from on set to H-B grade II. Results : 1. Among the Sasang constitution, Soeumin($10.67{\pm}3.77days$) were faster than other constitutions, but Soyangin($16.25{\pm}6.75days$) were slower than other constitutions in changing point. Taeumin($4.12{\pm}1.49weeks$) were shorter than other constitutions, but Soyangin($4.88{\pm}2.11weeks$) were longer than other constitutions in improvement. 2. Among contributing factors, overwork and stress group were slower than other contributing factors in changing point($13.95{\pm}6.52days$), and longer than others in improvement($4.67{\pm}1.87weeks$). 3. Changing point and improvement of season, age, and existence of diabetes had the difference of the average according to an each item, but they were not statistically significant. 4. In 89 patients with Bell's palsy, average changing-point was $13.11{\pm}5.99$(days) and average improvement was $4.47{\pm}1.82$(weeks). Their correlation was 0.687 and statistically significance(P<0.01), therefore we could decide that their relation is highly correlation.

호도약침액의 만성해수(慢性咳嗽)의 현증완화(顯症緩和)에 미치는 영향

Objective: This study is performed for the purpose of observing the effect of JSD on the cough Methods: 35 patients with the cough treated with JSD herbal acupuncture at 肺兪穴(BL13) and 平喘穴, then self-conscious complain rates were studied. Results: The result as follows. 1. There are remarkable improvement in self-conscious complain rate about chronic cough, sputum, sneezing, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath which chronic cough patients complained. 2. There is no significance in self-conscious complain rate according to suffering and treatment period. 3. These result indicates that the effect of JSD herbal acupuncture on chronic cough si exellent.

자하거약침(紫河車藥鍼)의 Bell's palsy에 대한 치험보고(治驗報告)

This report was done to observe the effect of Hominis placenta herbal acupuncture on Bell's palsy. The study group comprised 16 patients who arrived at Woo-suk university oriental hospital from January, 1999 till January, 2000 for Bell's palsy. All patients were divided into two group. One was herbal acupunture group, and the other was control group. Acupunture group was done herbal acupuncture therapy on the facial acupuncture points. Followings are achievement and a term of each group. In herbal acupuncture group, 100% motor recovery was 7 case, 75% was 1 case, and 25% motor recovery term was $7.38{\pm}5.21$ days, 50% was $11.00{\pm}6.16$ days, 75% was $15.13{\pm}9.55$ days, 100% was $23.14{\pm}7.97$ days. In control group, 100% motor recovery was 4 case, 75% was 2 case, 25% below was 2 case and 25% motor recovery term was $11.17{\pm}4.96$days, 50% was $18.17{\pm}6.82$ days, 75% was $29.50{\pm}6.95$ days, 100% was $44.00{\pm}11.49$ days. The above results indicate that Hominis placenta herbal acupuncture is a useful effect on Bell's palsy. thus, continuous herbal acupunture study will be needed for more clinical application on Bell' palsy.

파열형(破裂型) 요추간판탈출증(腰椎間板脫出症)에 대한임상적(臨床的) 연구(硏究)

Objectives : We defined that the ruptured disc is extruded trans ligamentous through the posterior longitudinal ligament or sequestrated. The authors have experienced 12 cases of ruptured disc that underwent the conservative treatment. We studied the effect and possibility of the conservative treatment for the ruptured disc. Methods : The patients with ruptured disc have underwent the conservative treatment. After the treatment, we compare pre-treatment with post treatment in the view of state of patients' ambulation and physical conditions. Results : In this study, 12 cases of ruptured disc have underwent the conservative oriental treatment. After the treatment, 75% of the cases were improved above good state Conclusion : The ruptured disc has been operated universally. Except the emergency state, the conservative treatment is helpful to improve the symptoms of the patients with ruptured disc.
