        To evaluate the status of renin-angiotensin axis in 15 patients with cirrhosis and ascites including 5 unexplained renal failure who were on an unrestricted sodium intake, plasma renin activity was determined by Cohn's bioassay method modifed from the technique of Regoli and Vane using the isolated rat ascending colon. 1. Mean plasma renin activity in 10 normal subjects was 6.0±2.0ng/ml. 2. Mean plasma renin activity in 10 patients with cirrhosis and was 15.-0±8.7ng/ml and exceeds significantly as compased with those of control group. 3. Mean plasma renin activity in 5 patient with the so-called hepatorenal syndrome was 36±6.9ng/ml and was significantly higher than control group and patients with cirrhosis. 4. Plasma renin activity in patient "with cirrhosis was significantly correlated with glomerular -filt­ ration rate and effective renal plasma flow. These results suggest that increased plasma renin activity seems to be the result circulatory impairment in cirrhosis rather than its causes, aggravate fluid retention and largely responsible for the perpetuation of ascites.

        기능성 니트 셔츠 패턴 설계에 관한 연구

        This paper presents specifications and patterns for developing standards of knit shirt through comparing to the functionalities between fitted shirts and regular material shirts. It contributes to the research of the various pattern designs of knit shirts which are sold in the market, and helps customers' decision. Functional materials and patterns of knit shirts are compared and the sizes of diverse knit shirts of researched, consequently the specifications and patterns are set for studying a standard pattern of knit shirt. In addition, the pattern focuses on the figure of shoulder which fits to body shape. It uses the difference between the breast width and the shoulder width and helps the material's elasticity according to an amount of exercise. The whole lengths of patterns are diverse, depending on the forms of exercise, and the pattern keeps pace with a trend of fashion design.         한지를 이용한 니트 표현 방법에 대한 연구

        The complex contemporary society is greatly threatened by the crisis of the earth environment and the human ecosystem due to the abuse of energy and resources. In this actual situation, the demand for a new vision of the global environmental problem has an effect on design, urging the development of the environment-friendly product and technology. In keeping with this stream, the tendency to translate all sorts of formative work with paper, the natural material, as the medium and the modes of peculiar expression have been introduced. The expressive method of fashion using the mulberry tree fiber that has newly come to be in the spotlight is diversely utilized and an attempt to connect this with the high added value is undertaken. The work produced out of hanji yarns maintains the neutral characteristic of cotton and hemp as the material easy and diverse in the method of expression as it is made out of the paper mulberry. And it has the possibility of weaving and knitting as the lightweight material and has good biodegradability. In addition, it is excellent in durability and fastness to dyeing and washing and is the environment-friendly natural material that has the advantage of filamentous yard and peculiar texture and emotion though it may be the staple fiber. Therefore, it is the high-grade material that can practically be used for diverse uses such as interior, living and industrial purposes to prevent atopy as well as for the clothing purpose. It is possible to make a diverse expression of diverse knit textures by producing the knit texture using hanji year as well as the textile woven out of hanji yarns by hand knitting and machine knitting. The hanji yarn is made free in production by adjusting thickness or width and the material easy to produce diverse products because it maintains the voluminousness specific to paper or excels in flexuosity, extensity and restorability.         파형강관을 삽입한 중공원형단면 철근콘크리트 부재의 거동에 관한 연구

        파형강관을 삽입하여 보강된 중공원형단면의 역학적 거동을 연구하기 위하여 직경 50cm, 길이 340cm의 시험체를 제작하였고, 3점 휨시험을 수행하였다. 하중재하는 파괴 또는 최대한변형이 발생할 때까지 느리게 증가시켰다. 시험하는 동안에 시험체 중앙의 휨방향 변위와 인장측과 압축측의 종방향 변위를 측정하였다. 측정데이타를 분석한 결과를 파형강관이 삽입되지 않은 등가단면에 대한 해석결과와 비교하였다. 비교결과, 중공 철근콘크리트 부재의 휨강성과 연성이 파형강관을 내부에 삽입함으로써 크게 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. An experiment was carried out to investigate the mechanical behaviour of the circular hollow section reinforced concrete member with internal corrugated steel tube. A specimen, 50cm in diameter and 340cm in length, was made and tested by 3 points bending. The test load was increased slowly (quasi static) to the failure or unacceptable deformation. During the test, lateral displacement at mid point and longitudinal displacement of extreme fiber on compressive and tensile side of the specimen were measured. The measured data were analysed and compared with calculated results for the equivalent member without inserted corrugated steel tube. The comparison shows that the flexural strength and ductility of hollow section reinforced concrete members can be improved by inserting corrugated steel tubes inside.

      • 플라이애쉬를 혼합한 콘크리트의 강도개선에 관한 실험적 연구

        The strength of fly ash concrete was improved regardless of the curing period. The main objectives of this research are to provide the fundamental data for the practical purposes and to compare the strength between the conventional and fly ash concrete. The slump and air content test were conducted for the fresh concrete. The compressive and tensile strength test were also performed under various curing periods. The results are obtained as follows. 1. The strength of Type B and C(replacing fine aggregate with fly ash), however, improved compared to the conventional. 2. Within the limit of this study, the optimum replacement ratio of fly-ash to cement was about 20 percent in all cases. The strength improvement between the mixtures was more noticeable under water curing than under dry condition.
