A MOTION DECOUPLING CONTROL BASED ON DIFFERENTIAL GEOMETRY FOR DISTRIBUTED DRIVE ARTICULATED HEAVY VEHICLE

Bao Hua Wang,Jiacheng Zhang,Weilong Wang,Yuchen Sun 한국자동차공학회 2024 International journal of automotive technology Vol.25 No.2

A vehicle system motion decoupling control method was proposed to address challenges in controlling articulated heavyvehicles (AHVs). The method, based on diff erential geometry theory, focused on distributed electric drive AHVs. Its objectivewas to separate the highly nonlinear and strongly coupled dynamics system into two relatively independent subsystems:longitudinal and lateral motions. Additionally, a robust controller was designed to improve the vehicle’s resistance toexternal disturbances like side winds. Simulation tests using a TruckSim model of a distributed electric drive AHV showsignifi cant improvements compared to vehicles without decoupling control. The rearward amplifi cation (RA) is reducedby 4.5%, the longitudinal velocity deviation by 67.5%, and the yaw rate deviation by 69.7%. The vehicle also demonstratesenhanced stability when subjected to strong breeze disturbances. To validate the control performance in real-time systems, the hardware-in-the-loop tests were conducted, which confi rms the eff ectiveness of the proposed control approach in practicalapplications.

The Impact of Logistics Infrastructure Development in China on the Promotion of Sino-Korea Trade: The Case of Inland Port under the Belt and Road Initiative

        왕차오(Chao Wang),추웨이롱(Weilong Chu),김치열(Chi Yeol Kim) 한국무역학회 2020 Journal of Korea trade Vol.24 No.2

Purpose - This study investigates the impact of inland port development in China on the promotion of bilateral trade flows between China and South Korea. Design/methodology - The probable association between the establishment of inland ports and SinoKorea trade was estimated using gravity models. In this regards, two sets of data were collected. The first dataset consists of the baseline variables of a gravity model, while the second one includes variables of logistics infrastructure development. The indicators of logistics infrastructure development include inland ports, the amount of government expenditure on transport infrastructure, the lengths of roads and railways, the number of trucks and the number of logistics industry workforce. Findings - The results show that inland port development has a positive impact on facilitating bilateral trade between China and South Korea. However, the positive association holds only for Chinese regions with a large trade volume and a proximity to seaports. In other regions, the impact of inland ports is not statistically significant. Originality/value - To the best knowledge of the authors, this study is the first attempt to explore the economic impact of inland ports in China. In addition, the findings in this paper provide both policy and managerial implications for the future development of inland ports, such as the strategic location of inland ports and integrated intermodal operations.

Mechanical and Microscopic Properties of Cement Stabilized Silt

        Shaoyun Pu,Zhiduo Zhu,Weilong Song,Yu Wan,Hairong Wang,Shigong Song,Jun Zhang 대한토목학회 2020 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.24 No.8

In order to explore the strength, water stability, compressibility, shear properties of cement stabilized silt, the one-dimensional consolidation tests, direct shear and unconfined compressiontests were conducted on cement solidified silt. In addition, the microscopic characteristics of cement stabilized silt were investigated by using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) tests. The unconfined compression tests showed that the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) raised with cement dosage increasing, and first increased rapidly and then raised slowly with the prolongation of curing time. As curing time prolonged, the water stability coefficient (Kr) of 2% cement stabilized silt raised significantly, while the Kr of 4% and 6% cement stabilized silt almost hardly changed. As cement dosage increased, at 7 days of curing age, the compressive modulus of cement stabilized silt raised. However, at 28 and 90 days of curing, the compressive modulus first raised and then reduced. As curing time increased, the compressive modulus increased at first and then deceased slightly. The direct shear tests demonstrated that the internal friction angle of cement solidified silt was almost unchanged with increasing cement dosage, but the internal friction angle increased slightly with the prolongation of curing time. For 2% and 4% cement stabilized silt, the cohesion raised with the prolongation of curing time. Meanwhile, the cohesion of 6% cement solidified silt at 7 days was slightly larger that of 28 days. Besides, the SEM and XRD analysis indicated that the loose structure of silt was improved due to cement addition.

Removal of Chromium (Ⅵ) by Escherichia coli Cells Expressing Cytoplasmic or Surface-Displayed ChrB: a Comparative Study

( Xiaofeng Zhou ),( Jianghui Li ),( Weilong Wang ),( Fan Yang ),( Bingqian Fan ),( Chenlu Zhang ),( Xiaojun Ren ),( Feng Liang ),( Rong Cheng ),( Fengying Jiang ),( Huaibin Zhou ),( Juanjuan Yang ),( 한국미생물 · 생명공학회 2020 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.30 No.7

Various genetically engineered microorganisms have been developed for the removal of heavy metal contaminants. Metal biosorption by whole-cell biosorbents can be enhanced by overproduction of metal-binding proteins/peptides in the cytoplasm or on the cell surface. However, few studies have compared the biosorption capacity of whole cells expressing intracellular or surface-displayed metal-adsorbing proteins. In this study, several constructs were prepared for expressing intracellular and surface-displayed Ochrobactrum tritici 5bvl1 ChrB in Escherichia coli BL21(DE3) cells. E. coli cells expressing surface-displayed ChrB removed more Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions than cells with cytoplasmic ChrB under the same conditions. However, intracellular ChrB was less susceptible to variation in extracellular conditions (pH and ionic strength), and more effectively removed Cr(VI) from industrial wastewater than the surface-displayed ChrB at low pH (<3). An adsorptiondesorption experiment demonstrated that compared with intracellular accumulation, cell-surface adsorption is reversible, which allows easy desorption of the adsorbed metal ions and regeneration of the bioadsorbent. In addition, an intrinsic ChrB protein fluorescence assay suggested that pH and salinity may influence the Cr(VI) adsorption capacity of ChrB-expressing E. coli cells by modulating the ChrB protein conformation. Although the characteristics of ChrB may not be universal for all metal-binding proteins, our study provides new insights into different engineering strategies for whole-cell biosorbents for removing heavy metals from industrial effluents.

Effects of different methionine sources on production and reproduction performance, egg quality and serum biochemical indices of broiler breeders

        Xue Xiao,Yongxia Wang,Weilong Liu,Tingting Ju,Xiuan Zhan 아세아·태평양축산학회 2017 Animal Bioscience Vol.30 No.6

Objective: The study was conducted to evaluate the effects of different methionine (Met) sources on production performance, reproduction performance, egg quality and serum biochemical indices in broiler breeders. Methods: After receiving a basal diet (containing 0.25% Met) for a 2-wk pretreatment period, a total of 360 39-wk-old Lingnan yellow broiler breeders were randomly allocated to four treatments with six replicates each (15 birds per replicate). Breeders were fed with basal diets (control) or diets supplemented with DL-methionine (DLM), DL-2-hydroxy-4-methylthio butytric calcium (MHA-Ca) and coated DL-Met (CME) respectively. Results: The results showed that CME supplementation promoted laying rate and decreased feed-to-egg ratio (F/E) (p<0.05), DLM and MHA-Ca supplementation decreased F/E (p<0.05) when compared with control group. The rate of fertility, hatchability and birthrate were higher (p<0.05) in DLM, MHA-Ca, and CME groups than control group. Compared with control group, CME increased the eggshell thickness (p<0.05); MHA-Ca improved the eggshell thickness, shell ratio and eggshell strength (p<0.05). Results also showed that CME elevated the concentration of total protein in serum (p<0.05); MHA-Ca improved the concentration of calcium in serum (p<0.05). The concentration of serum uric acid in DLM, MHA-Ca, and CME groups was lower than that in control group (p<0.05). Besides, CME had higher concentrations of serum taurine, cysteine and cystanthionine (p<0.05) while MHA-Ca and DLM promoted the serum taurine concentration (p<0.05) compared with control group. Conclusion: Based on the results, it was concluded that Met supplementation could enhance the production and reproduction performance as well as the antioxidant status and egg quality of broiler breeders. In terms of improving the production performance, reproduction performance and antioxidant performance, CME was superior to DLM and MHA-Ca; but in regard to the enhancement of eggshell quality and serum Ca concentration, MHA-Ca was superior to DLM and CME.
