<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Liquid fuel processing technologies have attracted attention because of the increasing importance of energy and environmental problems. Liquid fuels such as gasoline and diesel are promising hydrogen sources because of their high hydrogen densities, widespread applications and well-constructed infrastructure. Liquid fuels can be used in various applications, such as fuel cells, through liquid fuel processing. Pure hydrogen or natural gas has been used depending on the fuel cell type. However, pure hydrogen and natural gas are unavailable in some applications and areas. Therefore, fuel cell applications can be diversified by using liquid fuels. The liquid fuel delivery, catalytic reforming and reformate cleaning processes have been investigated for producing hydrogen-rich gases. Some kW-class reactors have also been developed for practical applications. This paper will summarize and discuss each liquid fuel processing technology and the kW-class reactors for converting liquid fuels into hydrogen-rich gases in a stable manner.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> The current status on liquid fuel processing for producing hydrogen is discussed. </LI> <LI> Fuel delivery, catalysts, and reformate cleaning are investigated in detail. </LI> <LI> kW-class reforming reactors have been introduced from various research groups. </LI> </UL> </P>
부탄 개질기 운전조건에 따른 SOFC 시스템 효율에 대한 연구

본 연구에서는 부탄 개질기 운전조건에 따른 SOFC 시스템 효율을 모델링을 통해 분석하였다. SOFC 시스템은 크게 개질기, SOFC, 폐열 회수 장치로 구성하였다. 탄화수소 개질 반응으로 선택한 수증기 개질 반응은 흡열반응인 데에 반해 SOFC 에서 일어나는 전기화학반응은 발열반응이다. 따라서 시스템의 열관리 방법에 따라 효율이 크게 달라진다. 세부적으로 수증기 개질 반응은 운전 온도에 따라 수증기 개질 반응과 예개질 반응으로 분류되는데, 해석 결과 예개질 반응을 적용한 SOFC 시스템의 경우 더 높은 효율을 나타내었다. 시스템의 효율은 SOFC 온도 유지를 위한 열량과 온수로 회수되는 열량에 따라 달라지는데, 예개질 반응을 적용할 경우, 열관리가 더욱 효율적이어서 높은 효율을 나타내는 것으로 분석되었다. In this study, the efficiency of a solid-oxide fuel cell (SOFC) system with a steam reformer or prereformer was analyzed under various conditions. The main components of the system are the reformer, SOFC, and water boiling heat recovery system. Endothermic and exothermic reactions occur in the reformer and SOFC, respectively. Hence, the thermal management of the SOFC system greatly influences the SOFC system efficiency. First, the efficiencies of SOFC systems with a steam reformer and a prereformer are compared. The system with the prereformer was more efficient than the one with steam reformer due to less heat loss. Second, the system efficiencies under various prereformer operating conditions were analyzed. The system efficiency was a function of the heat requirement of the system. The efficiency increased with an increase in the operating temperature of the prereformer, and the maximum system efficiency was observed at 450°C for a S/C of 2.0.
치과위생사의 감정노동이 직무만족과 이직의도에 미치는 영향

Purpose : This study examines dental hygienists’ emotional labor, job satisfaction, and turnover intention and defines how this emotional labor affects job satisfaction and turnover intention in hospitals. Methods : Among the dental hygienists currently working for the dental department in hospitals and clinics located in Busan, South Korea, 216 dental hygienists who understood the purpose of this research and agreed to participate were instructed to answer a self-administered questionnaire from April 1 to April 30, 2019. A statistical analysis was subsequently conducted on the responses using the SPSS Win 23.0 program. Results : Emotional labor and job satisfaction showed a negative relationship; thus, as emotional labor was low, job satisfaction was high. Moreover, emotional labor and turnover intention were found to be positively correlated, while job satisfaction and turnover intention were shown to be negatively related (p<0.01). Conclusion : The present study demonstrated that the emotional labor of dental hygienists affects job satisfaction and turnover intention. The results suggests that through systematic organization and human resource management, hospitals should design and implement in practice programs to increase dental hygienists’ job satisfaction. In addition, these hospitals should secure compensation systems that are motivating enough to enhance the severe emotional labor of dental hygienists to decrease turnover intention. As another method to lower turnover intention, dental hygienists may attempt to resolve emotional disharmony with their own problem-solving methods; however, it is necessary to develop and support organizational culture for the improvement of their working environment.
