The Korean action arts during the 1960's, which was born of Chung. Kang-Za, Kang, Kook-Jin, and Chung, Chan-Seung, in the year of 1967, was called 'Happenings'. In 1969 Kim, Ku-Lim and Kim, Cha-Sup performed 'Events" by means of the post office. Thus there were two kinds of action arts during the 1960's :"Happenings"and "Events ". Though they were called the action arts at the same time, one was different from the other in their character. While "Happenings" were generally accidental, sadistic and culturally terroristic. "Events "showed a conceptional quality through the processes of actions. On the other hand , the Korean action arts during the 1970's maintained some elements of 'Happenings"of the 1960's, but Lee, Guen-yong began"Events' in the Baik Rok Gallery and the National Modern Art Museum, with the result that he deepened the main qualities of the Korean action arts of the 1970's He urged what was called "the logic of neutralization" and resisted the accidental and diffusing actions. He began to search for the essential meanings of the actions themselves. He propagated Events mainly through the "S.T." Group with Kim, Yong-Min, Sung, Neung-Kyung, Jang, Suk-Won, and Yun, Jim-sup. Since that time Events have been done under the name of "Events "or performances" by the many Korean Arts. These Korean action arts of the 1960's and the 1970's share the over-all idealogical aspects of the period. In particular, these movements made the painters understand the meaning of following arts about the over-all Korean fine arts of the 1970's And they greatly contributed to deepening the fine arts of the 1970's.

선속이 선회권에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

The turning circle of a ship is the path followed by her center of gravity in making a turn of 360° degree or more with helm at constant angle. But generally it means her path traced at full angle of the rudder. For the ordinary ship the bow will be inside and the stern outside this circle. It has been usually understood that the turning circle is not essentially affected by ship's speed at Froude numbers less than about 0.3. However, it is recently reported that the speed provide considerable effects upon the turning circle on piloting many ships actually at sea. In this paper, the author analyzed what effects the speed could provide on the turning circle theoretically from the viewpoint of ship motions and examined how the alteration of the speed at Froude no. under 0.30 affect the turning circle actually, through experiments of actual ships of a small and large size.

Nakamura Chart에 의한 어선의 유효마력 추정법의 전산 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구

This paper is development of computer program of estimation method of EHP of fishing boats for NAkamura Chart. This computer program is applied to three fishing boats (G/T 150 Ton. G/t 300Ton G/t 370Ton), EHP's are estimated and experimental results. From these results it can be concluded that this computer program is very efficient in estimating EHP of fishing boat. Further, this method can contribute to reduction of design time and thus down the total expenses.

Multimodal transport is the new mode of trnasport that is introduced since 1960's. This can be defined that international multimodal transport means the carriage of goods by at least two differnet modes of transport on the basis of a multimodal transport contract from a place in one country at which the goods are taken in charge by the multimodal transport contract from a place in one country at which the goods are taken in charge by the multimodal transport operator to a place designated for deliery situated in a different country. But this is a different method from the traditional marine transport. So this method have caused many complicated problems in relation to the liability of the mutimodal transport operator. Namely, in many cases, the damage of container cargo could not be discovered well during the time of transport and discovered at the destination, Therefore, we do not know the precise place where the damage took place. In this case, we could not know thw carrier who have to be burdened with the responsibility of reparation and don't know the principle of liability that have to be applied. In connection with this point, many countries have endeavoured for amny years, and as a result of this effort, U.N Convention on International Multimodal Transport of Goods was materialized in 1980 by UNCITRAL. According to this convention, the subject of liability was based on the uniform liability system. But in the limited cases, this convention adopted the network liability system and hence we can say that it accepted the modified uniform liability system substantially. However, in contrast with this condition mentioned, we do not have any legal arrangement to regulate the multimodal transport yet in our business law. Moreover, in this circumstances, we have to depend on the analogical construction from the marine and/or land transport provisions in the business law, but the provisions regarding those transport are out of date. Accordingly we could not cope with the generalized situation of multimodal transport very well. Therefore, we have to introduce some new procisions to regulate multimodal trnasport in our business law. And when we considered the legislation of the new provisions, it is desiable to harmonize with the international rules including the U.N. convention. In order to do so, we have to excute the research dleliberately about these international rules and finally in relation to our maritime policy, we have to consider the position of shipowner as well as those of consignor.

N. L. Prak distinguished three stages of meaning in architecture. First, the meaning of icon, second, the conscious symbol and the last is the unconscious symbol. Among them, conscious and unconscious symbol may correspond to iconography and iconology of Panofsky respectively. These symbols are mainly showed in religion architecture than simple practical architecture. Such symbol structures are able to become an important object to be discussed. R. Schwarz who had studied seriously about icon suggested the six forms of church which expressed abundant image and symbols related to the life of Jesus Christ. And we understand that after the first world war, architecture of expressionism appeared to show many meanings which revealed social situation, spirit and characteristic of religion. In the end, looking the flow of time, we know that there are many symbols to get good relation between God and believers. So I have already published a paper(A study on the expression of symbols in modern church architecture)to study the importance and the significance of symbol in Journal of Architectural Institute of Korea, Jan, 2002. This paper studied continuously from the last paper and especially studied the aspects of not as an architect but as users. So I selected a church that has symbolic meaning. And investigated cognitive faculty of users in symbol that expressed by an architect in the church. Finally, I know that users are affected by symbolic element. And symbols helps them to increase personal faith.

Round-Bottom형 어선의 유효마력 추정법에 관한 연구

From The results of moldel tests, statistical regression equation for EHP estimation based on hull form parameters is adopted in this study. From this result, the method for estimation of EHP at the initial design stage of round bottom fishing boat is developed. This method is applied to two standard round bottom fishing boat.The EHP's are estimated and compared to experimental results.From these results it can be concluded that this numerical method is very efficient in estimating EHP of round bottom fishing boat. Futher,this method can contribute to reduction of design time and thus down the total expenses.

二中肋 骨型 船體周圍의 流線計算에 關한 實驗的 考察

Generally, the flow around the ship's hull often appear 3-dimensional separation at the bow and stem, and the vorex by this flow affects greatly the resistance- propulsive efficiency and maneuverability of the ship. This study is compared the calculated result based on the streamlines calculation method with the experimental result by oil film method to analyze the patterns and characteristics of the flows around the ship's hull of double chine form. High speed vessel built in Korea was selected as a sample ship of chine from and model ship was painted with the mixture of oil-color, paint, and poly wax at the surface of the vessel and tested in the model towing tank of Inha University. The results obtained in this study are listed briefly as follows; 1. The approximate steamlines for the ship's hull of chine form can be assigned by the use of the Watanabe's basic transformation formular. 2. By this study, the experimental results are similar to the result of streamline calculation method. 3. It is possible to estimate the streamlines around a ship's hull of double chine form by these methods.

독일교회건축의 형태적 표현특성에 관한 연구 : 1940년대 이후를 중심으로

Church Architecture is the place for confessing and taking worship to the God and it is the meaning of God's will to build tabernacle in the bible. Through the history, Schulz C.N. said Church Architecture in basic and general property express the relation with nature and human life as well as the sky and the land. Rudolf Schwarz explained the Church architecture as the strong form of building the world. The Church Architecture out of other architectures especially gives the emphasis to aspects of its meaning and its expression because it is the place that human can meet the God and the Providence of God and also, that human can meet themselves as a public existence. Through the flow of Modern Church Architecture, some expressional characteristics to express these essential object are appeared. This study is for finding out expressional characteristics of form shown in Modern German Church Architecture. These are analogizing shape from a organism, applying composition principle of ecological system, utilizing of nature and harmony of surrounding and formalizing from the bible indirectly.

經濟的인 最適 船型決定에 關한 硏究

This paper describes the development of a program system to carry out the economic design of cargo carriers. The computer chooses the most favourable combination dimensions for any design based on the owner's basic requirements of deadweight speed range of operation and stowage factor. A series of designs is producted by the systematic variation of length/beam ratio beam/draft ratio and block coefficient. The features of each design are derived using well knows relationships supplemented formulas based on detailed analysis of existing cargo carrier designs. The capital cost of each design is estimated and the fixed cost items such as crew, maintenance and insurance are obtained and expressed as a cost per year. The capital cost is repaid over 8 years after a 2-year grace period. The ship considered in this paper is built in Korea and operated by foreigner. The criterion for comparing the designs is obtained by assesing the minimum cost per ton of cargo deadweight.
