      • A Pipelined-Based Multi-Thread Acceleration Method for Remote Sensing Image Progressive Transmission

        In order to meet the different data browsing requests for different users to the visual quality of remote sensing images in heterogeneous network especially under narrow bandwidth environments, an online remote sensing image progressive transmission model is constructed in which remote sensing image compression and decompression are synchronized with transmission. At the same time, a pipeline-based multi-threaded acceleration method has been proposed through solving the asynchronous problem between compression decompression and transmission to improve the efficiency of remote sensing progressive transmission. At last, an idea of retry broken downloads transmission interruption has been implemented to improve end-user interactive experience. Experimental results show that the whole processing speed has been improved nearly twice without reducing image transmission quality and the amount of data transmission was reduced evidently by using the proposed progressive transmission and real-time compression model.

      • High-strength bolt-forming of fine-grained aluminum alloy 6061 with a continuous hybrid process

        It is well known that the development of a continuous manufacturing process to apply severe plastic deformation (SPD) is a major challenge for industrial usages to improve the mechanical properties of the material through grain refinement. In this study, fine-grained AA6061-O wire was manufactured by a two-pass hybrid process consisting of drawing, equal channel angular pressing and rolling in a continuous manner to investigate the effects of processing routes for two different routes, A and C, on the variation of ultimate tensile strength (UTS) and micro-hardness distribution. The UTS value (185MPa) of the specimen processed by the two-pass hybrid process with route A was higher than that of 171MPa obtained from the two-pass wire-drawing process and was equivalent to the level of 184MPa processed by the three-pass wire-drawing process. The average micro-hardness value (Hv 58.0) obtained from the two-pass hybrid process through route C was the highest among all the cases. According to transmission electron microscopy, the original grain was subdivided and elongated owing to deformation during the processes. The specimen processed by the two-pass hybrid process through route C showed smaller deformation bands and had potentially higher angle grain boundaries compared to the specimen processed by the two-pass wire-drawing process. Finally, the high-strength bolt was manufactured using the fine-grained AA6061-O wire prepared by the continuous hybrid process to check its formability. A ductile fracture at the first thread right above the jaw was observed in the bolt tension test of the manufactured bolt. The average micro-hardness value (Hv 56.1) obtained from the bolt manufactured with the specimen produced by the two-pass hybrid process through route C was higher than the one of Hv 50.5 obtained from the two-pass wire-drawing. It is demonstrated that the hybrid process might be useful in producing the grain-refined wire in a continuous process to manufacture high-strength bolts for practical applications.

        한 역기능 가정의 다세대 전수과정 및 성찰에 관한 자문화기술지

        이 연구는 연구자의 3대의 이야기를 자서전적인 방식을 통해 기술하면서 다세대 전수과정에서 일어나는 현상은 무엇이고 그것이 가족에게 어떤 의미를 갖는지에 대해 이해하는 것을 목적으로 진행하였다. 또한 그 과정 속에서 연구자 내면의식의 변화를 성찰하고 다세대 전수과정 안의 사회문화적 의미를 역할과 아비투스, 실존치료의 개념을 바탕으로 확장하는 것을 통해 상담학적 의의를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 연구자는 연구자 가족의 역기능과 다세대 전수과정을 자문화기술지라는 방법으로 들여다보았으며 연구의 과정과 경험을 바탕으로 한 연구의 논의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다세대 전수과정에서 더 나은 사회경제적 지위와 학력(學力) 추구를 이해하는 것은 개인의 미분화가 역기능 그리고 구조화된 사고로서 아비투스가 어떻게 관계되고 있는지를 이해하는 데 도움을 준다. 둘째, 구조화된 사고로서 아비투스가 포함된 지위 추구와 그에 대한 좌절의 의미를 이해하는 것은 그 과정 안에서 개인이 어떻게 소외되어 가는지를 이해할 수 있다. 셋째, 이러한 소외와 정서적 역동으로서 고통과 불안, 그 과정 전체를 아우르는 다세대 전수과정 그리고 구조화된 사회 관습인 아비투스와의 관계를 이해하는 것은 저항에 대한 새로운 시각을 제공할 수 있으리라 본다. This study was conducted to describe the three generations of the researchers stories in an autobiographical method and to understand what happened in the multigenerational transmission process and what it means to the family. It was also intended to find counseling significance by reflecting on changes in the inner consciousness of researchers in the process and expanding the socio-cultural meaning of the multigenerational transmission process based on the role and the concept of habitus and existential psychotherapy. To this end, the researcher looked at the adverse functions of the researcher s family and the multigenerational transmission process through autoethnogrphy, and the following discussion of the research was made based on the process and experience of the research. First, understanding the pursuit of better socioeconomic status and educational background in the multigenerational transmission process helps us understand how individual differentiation is related to habitus as an adverse function and structured thinking. Second, understanding the meaning of the pursuit of status that includes habitus and frustration in the process as a structured accident can help understand how individuals are isolated within the process. Third, understanding pain and anxiety in this isolation and emotional dynamism, the multigenerational transmission process throughout the process, and the relationship with habitus, a structured social practice, can provide a new perspective on resistance.

        Prediction of punch life in notching process for automatic transmission retainer considering fatigue and wear

        In notching process, predicting punch replacement period is very important. The retainer made of thick steel plate is one of the importantcomponents of the automatic transmission. The transmission retainer is produced through a shearing process, such as a piercing ornotching process. In this process, very high stress occurs in the punch because of high strength and thickness of steel plate. Therefore,punch life is very short. In this study, the fatigue and wear life of the punch in notching process is predicted using numerical analysis. Anexperiment was conducted to verify the effectiveness of the result of numerical analysis for predicting the punch life. From the experimentthe fatigue failure of the punch and the wear depth in notching process are measured. From the results the wear and fatigue lifepredicted through numerical analysis agree well with the experimental results.

        The effect of grain refinement by multi-pass continuous hybrid process on mechanical properties of low-carbon steel wires

        In this work, a multi-pass continuous hybrid (CH) process simulated by finite element analyses is investigated for producing grain-refined low-carbon steel wires in a continuous manner. The effect of grain-refined microstructure on mechanical properties such as tensile strength, ductility, micro-hardness, and fatigue limit is studied. For this purpose, the multi-pass CH process was experimentally set up and applied up to five passes with route A at room temperature. The experimental findings were compared with those for the multi-pass conventional wire drawing (WD) process. According to the present observation, the five-pass CH process refined the grains in the wires with many well-defined high angle grain boundaries, resulting in enhanced ultimate tensile strength and comparable ductility compared to the WD process. In addition, the fatigue limit of the specimen produced by the CH process was enhanced due to the grain-refined microstructure of the specimen compared to the one of the WD process. Based on the present investigation, it was found that the multi-pass CH process will be more efficient in manufacturing the fine-grained wires with enhanced mechanical properties compared to the WD process.

        Decision of Lubricated Friction Conditions for Materials of Automobile Transmission Gear Using Neural Network

        It is hard to inspect the state of lubrication of an automobile transmission visually. Thus, it is necessary to develop a new inspection method. Wear debris can be collected from the lubricants of an operating transmission of an automobile, and its morphology will be directly related to the friction condition of the interacting materials from which the wear debris originated in the lubricated transmission. In this study, wear debris in lubricating oil are extracted by membrane filter $(0.45{\mu}m)$, and the quantitative values of shape parameters of wear debris are calculated by digital image processing. These shape parameters are studied and identified by an artificial neural network algorithm. The results of the study may be applicable to the prediction and diagnosis of the operating condition of transmission gear.

      • Development of the Corrosion Deterioration Inspection Tool for Transmission Tower Members

        Recently, interests for maintenance of transmission tower are increasing to extend life of structures and reduce maintenance cost. However, existing classical diagnosis method of corrosion deteriorated degree on the transmission tower steel members, visual inspection, has a problem that error often due to difference of inspector's individual knowledge and experience. In order to solve the problem, this study carried out to develop the corrosion deterioration inspection tool for transmission tower steel members. This tool is composed of camera equipment and computer-aided diagnosis system. We standardized the photographing method by camera equipment to obtain suitable pictures for image processing. Diagnosis system was designed to evaluate automatically degree of corrosion deterioration for member of transmission tower on the basis of the RGB color image processing techniques. It is anticipated that developed the corrosion deterioration inspection tool will be very helpful in decision of optimal maintenance time for transmission tower corrosion.

        <白月棲雲塔碑>의 전래과정과 전승유형

        The transmitting methods of epigraphs can be largely divided into two, the rubbed copies of relics and the engraved copies, stone or wood material, whose original copies are the rubbed copies. As epigraphs would go through weathering and human touch for long history, old rubbed copies are of importance in that they pertain the accuracy of letters and the original forms. This paper aimed to look into the rubbed copies of epigraphs and publications of engraved copies through of Haengjeok (行寂, 832- 16), Buddhist high monk of Unified Silla. This monument, being well known for its epigraph that is a compiled letter monument of Kim Saeng (711- after 790), the representative calligrapher of Unified Silla, has many rubbed copies and engraved copies transmitted in various forms. Therefore, it is a very important material for studying the transmission processes and traditional patterns of epigraphs. For transmission processes, the postscript of Lee Hang engraved at side of monument in 1509 provided itself as a clue and the exploration record of Nam Gu-man in 1662 showed the artificial damage from rubbing, overseas drain process and so on. In 18th century, Hong Yang-ho's record clearly displayed the damages from humans, negligences and recovery process. The reason why this monument was broken can be found from Ssanghaja's article given in 『Monthly Joseon Buddhism』 in 1911. Well-known to China since Yuan and Ming dynasty, this epigraph was rubbed and drained overseas by envoys so many times that people finally broke and buried the monument not to be troubled with it. Putting together Ssanghaja's article based on 『 Yeongcheon eupji』 and Nam Gu-man's exploration record, the time of the monument's breakage can be carefully assumed 36, between 1662 and 1693. Two records serve as a reference by which the rubbed copies are judged to be before or after the late 17th century. To verify it, this paper compared the letters contained in the broken part of rubbed copies and identified the time order around the monument's breakage. For traditional patterns, this paper examined production methods and time order classifying them into rolls and albums according to binding style and into rubbed copies and engraved copies according to production style, then divided albums into single album and collective album and again divided them into rubbed copies and engraved copies respectively. Examples that are relatively older rubbed copies among examined single albums and preserve original forms include National Museum's collection, Jangseogak's collection and Dangook Univ.'s collection. To examine the time order of these copies, at first this paper extracted the comparable letters from each worn-out part. Dangook Univ.'s collection was most worn out around letters evidencing its being latest, Jangseogak's collection lost its originality due to minute stroke adding around worn-out part. So, National Museum's collection came under old and good edition. Accordingly, this epigraph's dignified survival over one thousand years and various shapes of rubbed copies and engraved copies would be said to be the result of coexisting with the vitality of Kim Saeng's calligraphy. 금석문의 전래방식은 크게 유물의 拓本과, 이를 저본으로 돌이나 나무 등에 複刻한 摹刻本으로 나눌 수 있다. 금석문은 시간이 지날수록 풍화와 인위에 의한 훼손을 겪게 마련이어서 탁본시기가 올라가는 고탁일수록 문자의 정확성과 제작당시의 원형을 간직하고 있다는 점에서 중요하다. 이 글에서는 금석문의 탁본과 모각본의 간행사례를 통일신라의 高僧 行寂(832-16)의 를 소재로 살펴보고자 하였다. 이 탑비는 통일신라를 대표하는 명필인 金生(711-790년 이후)의 집자비로 더욱 잘 알려진 금석문으로 탁본과 모각본이 다양한 형태로 남아 있어 금석문의 전래방식과 전승유형을 살피는데 긴요한 자료이다. 이 글에서는 의 전래과정을 문헌사료를 통하여 추적하고, 국내에 남겨진 탁본과 모각본을 중심으로 다양한 형태의 금석문 전승사례에 접근하고자 하였다. 전래과정에 대해서는 비석의 측면에 새겨진 1509년 이항의 추기가 단서가 될 수 있었고, 1662년 남구만의 답사기에서 탁본에 의한 인위적 훼손과 해외 유출과정 등을 파악할 수 있었다. 18세기에 들어서는 홍양호의 기록을 통해 인위에 의한 훼손과 방치, 회생과정을 생생히 엿볼 수 있었다. 이 비석이 현재의 모습처럼 斷碑가 된 원인에 대해서는 1911년 『조선불교월보』에 실린 雙荷子의 글을 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 元?明 이래로 중원에 유명해진 이 금석문은 使臣을 통한 다량의 탁본과 해외유출이 있었고, 잦은 탁본으로 인한 백성의 고통은 마침내 비석의 허리를 잘라 매장하기에 이르렀다는 내용이다. 『영천읍지』를 근거로 작성된 쌍하자의 글과 남구만의 답사기를 종합하면 이 비석의 절단시기는 1662년부터 1693년 사이인 36년으로 비정할 수 있다. 두 기록을 따른다면 17세기 후반을 분기로 한 탁본의 선후를 설정할 수 있는 단초가 될 수 있다. 이를 확인하기 위하여 탁본을 중심으로 비신의 절단부에 포함된 글자를 대조하여 비신절단을 전후한 탁본의 선후관계를 살폈다. 전승유형은 장황형식에 따라 축장과 첩장, 제작형태에 따라 탁본과 모각본으로 분류하여 제작방식 및 선후관계를 살폈다. 첩장은 單帖과 集帖으로 나누고 이를 각각 탁본과 모각본으로 분류하였다. 조사된 단첩탁본 중 비교적 古拓이며 원형을 잘 간직하고 있는 사례로 국립중앙박물관, 장서각, 단국대소장본 등을 꼽을 수 있었다. 이 탁본들의 선후관계를 살피기 위해 먼저 마멸된 부분의 비교 가능한 글자를 추출하였다. 우선 단국대학교본은 글자주위의 마멸이 가장 심하므로 다른 두 본에 비해 탁인시기가 떨어짐을 확인하였고, 장서각본의 경우 마멸부분에 미세한 輔劃을 가해 원형을 다소 잃었으므로 국립중앙박물관본이 고본이며 선본의 범주에 해당하였다. 이렇듯 이 금석문이 1000년이 넘는 시간동안 당당히 간직해 온 모습과 다양한 형태의 拓本?刊本은 김생의 서체와 함께해 온 생명력의 결과라 하겠다.

        송전철탑 부재 부식열화 검사장비 개발
