        Binding of sulfaethidole to bovine serum albumin (BSA) was studied by circular dichroism. The effects of pH and ionic strength on the binding of sulfaethidole to BSA were investigated. It was found that one primary binding site on the BSAM was capable of inducing optical activity in the presence of sulfaethidole. Enhancement of the induced ellipticity of sulfaethidole upon addition to BSA was not much affected by the change of pH and ionic strength. Taking the effects of pH and ionic strength into consideration, it seems that the binding of sulfaethidole to BSA was not much affected by electrostatic and ionic interactions. Therefore, it might be assumed that the binding was mainly due to the hydrophobic interactions. Sulfaethidole seems to be a reasonable CD probe for the study of hydrophobic drug interactions.

        To investigate the protein binding characteristics of ibuprofenlysine, the effects of drub conentration, pH, ionic strength and protein concentration on the binding of drug to protein concentration on the binding of drug to protein were studied by fluorescence probe method. The conformational change of protein was investigated by circular dichroism (CD) measurement. As the concentration of drug increases, the association constant decreases. These may be due to complex formation of the probe and drug, or the interaction of the protein-probe complex and drug. The association constant for ibuprofenlysine increased with increasing protein concentration. These finding suggest a sharing of one ibuprofenlysine molecule by more than one protein molecule in the binding. The binding between ibuprofenlysine and protein was dependent on pH and ionic strength. It seems that both hydrophobic binding and some electrostatic forces are involved in the binding of ibuprofenlysing to protein.

        건설용 철근 20~70Φ급 자동 철근 결속기의 설계·제작에 대한 고찰

        In general, the method of supplying the wire of auto-binding apparatus for reinforcing bar used in construction sites are often poor and supplies by using the hall way, the head of the thick binder is often an obstacle for interference when bind the reinforcing bar. In this paper, we proposed a new auto-binding apparatus for reinforcing bar by improving the existing bond issues that they work for the common descriptor. The auto-binding apparatus for reinforcing bar is easy to carry because it is designed with a pistol grip shape. It also has the advantage to increase the productivity because it is easy binding of the reinforcing bar itself, rather than binding operation by a person. It was designed and produced by adding a multi-functional to automatically bond the reinforcing rod of 20~70Φ range. We carried out the performance evaluation tests, such as binding strength, binding time, binding range, body weight, wire cutting unit wear, binding malfunction test in order to compare and validate domestic and foreign technical level of the performance of the developed auto-binding apparatus for reinforcing bar. As a result, it was confirmed that the development of each item is reached.

        The effects of ionic strength and pH on the binding of cefazolin to bovine serum albumin (BSA) were studied by UV difference spectrophotometry. As ionic strength at constant pH and temperature increases, the apparent bining constant decreased but the number of binding sites remained almost constant at 2. The constancy of the number of binding sites with increasing the ionic strength suggests that purely electrostatic forces between BSA and drug do not have great importance in the drug binding, even though there is a decrease in the apparent binding constant. Thus, the effect of ionic strength on the interaction between drug and BSA may be explained by the changes in ionic atmosphere of the aggregated BSA molecules and competitive inhibition by phosphate ions. In addition, the higher apparent binding constant at high ionic strength is explained by conformational changes of BSA from its aggregate forms into subunits. The pH effects on the afinity of interactions indicated that the binding affinity of cefazoline is higher in the neutral region than in the alkaline region. An d at high pH value, the number of binding sites decreased from 2 to 1 because of the conformational change of BSA in the alkaline region.

      • 기하학적 경계조건을 고려한 고강도 철근 콘크리트 춤이 큰 보의 전단강도

        전단거동에 의해 지배되는 고강도 철근콘크리트 춤이 큰 보의 전단역학적 거동 및 전단강도특성을 고려한 이론식을 제시하고자 소성이론에 근거한 극한해석에서 상계치정리를 이용하여 이론적 전개를 하였으며, 고강도 R/C춤이 큰 보의 전단응력에 영향을 미치는 콘크리트 압축강도, 수직전단보강근 및 수평잔단보강근의 보강효과를 고려한 이론식을 제시하였으며, 수평철근 즉 주인장철근 및 수평전단보강근의 장부작용을 고려하였다. 실험결과와 비교할 때 제안식은 수직잔단보강근의 전단보강효과를 과대평가하고있으며, 수평전단보강근의 효과를 적절하게 평가하고 있음을 나타내었다. 또 전단스팬비가 0.5, 0.85인 경우에는 제안식에 의한 값이 다소 낮게 나타내, 전단스팬비가 낮은 경우는 다소 과소평가하는 것으로 나타났다.

        Cramer-Rao Lower Bound for Estimating Signal Strength of a Censored Swerling Target

        이 논문에서는 레이더 표적의 신호가 탐지문턱값과 포화한계값에 의해 차단되는 환경에서 Swerling 표적의 신호강도를 추정하는 경우, 바이어스가 없는 추정의 Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB)를 얻기 위해 Fisher information을 구하였다. 즉, 각 레이더 스캔에 대해서 표적신호와 잡음 합이 서로 독립적인 Swerling 표적에 대해, 탐지실패, 차단되지 않은 표적신호와 잡음합, 그리고 포화로 구성된 시퀀스를 입력으로 하는 표적 신호강도 추정문제에 대한 Fisher information을 얻었다. 측정 창의 길이를 적응적으로 가변시키는 경우에 대해서도 고찰한다. In this paper, the Fisher information is derived to obtain the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) of an unbiased estimator for the mean signal strength of censored Swerling I and Swerling III targets. To be specific, the Fisher information is derived for a sequence of observations (of misses, uncensored signal-plus-noise strengths and saturations) at scans in a time window under a mild assumption that the signal-plus-noise strength of a Swerling target is scan-to-scan independent. An adaptive-length windowing is also discussed. Some numerical examples are presented.

        Optical and magneto optical responses assigned to probable processes of formation of exciton bound to an ionized donor in quantum dot

        The system formed by an electron and a hole coupled by Coulomb interactions with an ionized donor is the least known among the excitonic complexes. This complex is usually described as an exciton bound to an ionized donor. Strictly speaking, the exact mechanism of formation of this complex remains unclear. Two processes of formation giving rise to this system can be imagined. In a first process labeled A, the complex may be regarded as an exciton trapped by an ionized donor while in the second mechanism labeled B, this complex can be derived from the binding of a neutral donor and a hole. From a theoretical point of view both protocols can occur, with different probabilities and different binding energies, and consequently lead to different lines in the optical absorption spectra. In our hypothesis, we assume that the statistical mixture contains the two species coming from different origins and which were formed randomly. In this context of uncertainty and mixing processes, we propose to determine the absorption coefficient in the framework of the two possible hypotheses. In the aim to contribute with a valid description of the absorption spectrum, we report in this paper a full theoretical analysis of the optical and magneto-optical phenomena accompanying the two possible processes of formation, taking into account the dot sizes, the magnetic field strength, and the effect of the dielectric constant of the host material.

        바인딩프레임 구속 합성메가기둥의 중심압축 내력실험

        제한된 토지의 효율적 이용을 위하여 건물들이 점점 더 거대화, 초고층화 되어가고 있기 때문에, 대형합성기둥에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 선행 연구를 통하여 리브를 갖는 냉간성형강재를 사용하여 구조적으로 안정적이며 경제적 인 충전강관기둥(ACT Column Ⅰ)이 기존에 개발되었으나, ACT Column Ⅰ은 크기가 제한(618×618)되는 문제가 있기 때문에 새로운 폭 1m이상 고하중용 대형합성기둥의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 폭이 커지고 접합부 형식이 단순해지는 대형합성기둥(ACT Column Ⅱ)를 제안하고, 바인딩프레임이 보강된 실험체를 중심압축가력하여 구조성능을 확인하였다. 콘크리트 충전 여부 및 바인딩프레임의 보강 폭과 면적을 변수로 한 바인딩프레임 보강 실험체를 중심압축가력 하여 실험체 최대내력 값과 KBC2016 합성구조 설계메뉴얼에 따른 설계내력을 비교한 결과 ACT Column Ⅱ이 대형합성기둥으로써 안정적으로 거동함을 확인하였다. Buildings are becoming huger and higher due to the efficient use of limited land. Therefore, demand for the mega composite columns is increased. Welded built-up CFT column (ACT Column Ⅰ) is developed which is structurally stable and economical using cold-formed steel with rib, but limitation of ACT ColumnⅠsize (618×618) is problem. Therefore, development of a new composite mega comlumn(over 1-meter diameter) is necessary. In this study, mega composite column (ACT Column Ⅱ) whose width becomes larger and connection details becomes more simple is suggested and strength of the ACT Column Ⅱ is confirmed. Central compressive loading experiment of composite mega column specimen combined with binding frame is performed. The result of experiment, It is verified that ACT Column Ⅱ could behave stably as composite mega columns by comparing strength of specimen and KBC2016.
