        학문 목적 한국어교육을 위한 문화적 문식성 연구

        KGP와 차별된 과정으로서의 KAP에서는 대학(원)에서의 학업 수행에 요구되는 한국어능력을 갖추게 하는 데 초점을 두어 왔으며, 이를 ‘학술적 문식성’으로 정의하고 있다. 본고에서는 KAP 학습자가 갖추어야 할 문화 능력을 ‘문화적 문식성’으로 재개념화 하고, 문화적 문식성의 하위 요소를 1) 학문적 배경지식으로서의 문화 지식, 2) 상호문화적 관점의 문화 인식, 3) 담화 맥락에 맞는 한국어 표현 능력, 4) 매체활용 능력 등의 네 가지 요소로 구분하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 한국어교육 전반에서 ‘의사소통 능력’ 중심으로 논의되었던 문화교육 목표를 ‘지식’ 중심으로 전환하고, KAP 학습자를 위한 문화적 문식성의 개념을 구체적으로 정의, 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to re-conceptualize the ‘cultural literacy’ as a part of the ‘academic literacy’ for KAP(Korean for Academic Purposes) learners. This study tries to examine and analyze the results of various studies and theories about KAP education and Korean cultural education and classifies the factors of cultural literacy as 1) the cultural knowledge as the academic background knowledge, 2) the intercultural point of view, 3) the expressive ability in accordance with a discourse situation and 4) media utilization. The result of this study is expected to provide informations on anticipated future studies in Korean language education and cultural education for academic purpose for the international undergraduate students. Another expectation is that there will be many other studies in Korean cultural education for academic purpose as how to improve the ‘academic literacy’ and ‘cultural literacy’.

        Porphyromonas gingivalis의 병인인자 Gingipain 억제능을 갖는 Weisiella cibaria SPM402와 Lactobacillus paracasei SPM412

        To develop a functional probiotic that inhibits gingipain, a major virulence factor of Porphyromonas gingivlais (P. gingivalis), we screened over 30 probiotic strains for their ability to inhibit gingipian activity. We investigated the inhibition of expression of gingipain genes kgp, rgpA, and rgpB as well as gingipain activity, using freeze dried cell-free supernatants of Weisiella cibaria SPM402 (WC402) and Lactobacillus paracasei SMP412 (LP412), both of which demonstrated antibacterial activity against P. gingivalis. Thus, it was verified that kgp expression was reduced by approximately 0.71±0.02 folds and rgpB expression was reduced by approximately 0.71±0.14 folds at a concentration of WC402 10 mg/mL. Meanwhile, at the same concentration of 10 mg/mL of LP412, kgp expression was reduced by approximately 0.19±0.08 folds, rgpA expression was reduced by approximately 0.09±0.02 folds, and rgpB expression was reduced by approximately 0.24±0.03 folds. At a concentration of 10 mg/mL, Kgp activity was inhibited by approximately 78.65±3.58% (cell associated gingipain, CAG), 82.45±1.22% (cell-free gingipain, CFG) by WC402 and 80.71±2.11% (CAG), and 85.81±0.05% (CFG) by LP412 respectively. Rgp activity was also effectively inhibited by approximately 78.6±1.01% (CAG), 86.78±0.47% (CFG) and 82.93±1.26% (CAG), 88.81±0.36% (CFG) by WC402 and LP412 respectively. Based on these results, W. cibaria SPM402 and L. paracasei SPM412 can be regarded as functional probiotics with the ability to inhibit gingipain activity and exhibit antibacterial effects against P. gingivalis. 치주질환의 원인균인 Porphyromonas gingivlais (P. gingivalis)의 병인인자중 하나인 gingipain 효소에 대한 억제활성을 갖는 유산균을 개발하고자 본 연구실에 보관중인 30여종의 유산균 배양상등액의 활성을 검색하였다. 그 결과 발효식품에서 분리, 동정한 Weisiella cibaria SPM402와 Lactobacillus paracasei SMP412가 P. gingivalis에 대한 항균효과, gingipain 유전자 발현억제 및 gingipain 효소활성 억제능이 확인되었다. W. cibaria SPM402 의 배양 상등액 WC402는 10 mg/mL에서 kgp 유전자는 0.71±0.02배 발현되었고, rgpB 유전자는 0.71±0.14배 발현되 약간의 발현억제 효과가 확인되었다. 반면 L. paracasei SMP412의 배양상등액 LP412는 10 mg/mL 농도에서 kgp 유전자는 0.19±0.08배, rgpA 유전자는 0.09±0.02배, rgpB 유전자는 0.24±0.03배 발현되어 LP412의 뛰어난 gingipain 유전자 발현억제 효과를 확인하였다. 10 mg/mL농도에서, Kgp 효소 활성은 WC 402에 의해 78.65±3.58% (CAG), 82.45±1.22% (CFG), LP412에 의해 80.71±2.11% (CAG), 85.81±0.05% (CFG) 억제되었다. 동일한 농도에서 Rgp 활성은 WC402에 의해 78.6±1.01% (CAG), 86.78±0.47% (CFG), LP412에 의해 82.93 ±1.26% (CAG), 88.81±0.36% (CFG) 억제되었다. 이상의 결과들을 통해 WC402와 LP412는 P. gingivalis에 대한 항균효과 뿐 아니라 병인인자 gingipain을 효과적으로 억제하는 기능성 유산균임을 확인하였다.

        학문 목적 한국어 교육의 체계와 내용

        This study starts from the recognition that foreign students need Korean competence to take college courses, understanding and mastery over teaching-learning methods at college, or basic knowledge about the academic contents of their major area as the conditions to complete their college education successfully. Although foreign students have increased drastically since the mid-2000`s, Korean universities have not been fully equipped with institutional or contents preparations to teach them effectively. As a result, as far as foreign students are concerned, Korean universities exhibit a problem that its education is not provided properly for them. In order to overcome this problem, the need for new types of Korean language education different from general purpose Korean language education has been highlighted. This is the very ``KAP``. ``KAP`` curriculum has not been fully established yet in terms of its system or contents as the ``connected curriculum`` to mediate the foreign language course and the major curriculum. Thereupon, this study aims to build the system and contents of KAP curriculum here. The KAP curriculum suggested in this study has three-stepped system: 1) KGAP curriculum connected with KGP curriculum, 2) KIAP curriculum to acquire instrumental learning skills needed to complete college education, & 3) KSAP curriculum dealing with academic contents in certain major area.

        Randomized Block Size (RBS) Model for Secure Data Storage in Distributed Server

        Today distributed data storage service are being widely used. However lack of proper means of security makes the user data vulnerable. In this work, we propose a Randomized Block Size (RBS) model for secure data storage in distributed environments. The model work with multifold block sizes encrypted with the Chinese Remainder Theorem-based RSA (C-RSA) technique for end-to-end security of multimedia data. The proposed RBS model has a key generation phase (KGP) for constructing asymmetric keys, and a rand generation phase (RGP) for applying optimal asymmetric encryption padding (OAEP) to the original message. The experimental results obtained with text and image files show that the post encryption file size is not much affected, and data is efficiently encrypted while storing at the distributed storage server (DSS). The parameters such as ciphertext size, encryption time, and throughput have been considered for performance evaluation, whereas statistical analysis like similarity measurement, correlation coefficient, histogram, and entropy analysis uses to check image pixels deviation. The number of pixels change rate (NPCR) and unified averaged changed intensity (UACI) were used to check the strength of the proposed encryption technique. The proposed model is robust with high resilience against eavesdropping, insider attack, and chosen-plaintext attack.

        학문 목적 한국어 교과과정 설계 연구

        The number of foreign students enrolled in Korean colleges and graduate schools has been gradually increasing. Especially, it is noticeable that the number of those who passed the 5 or 6 level of Korean Proficiency Test increases. However, even the advanced Korean students who graduated from language courses have difficulties to succeed in the academic mainstream of university. The main reason is that the most of Korean language courses taken by foreign students are designed for survival or general purposes. However, having an ultimate goal to achieve a degree, like Korean students, foreign students who enter the university must communicate in Korean under the academic circumstances, such as taking courses, writing papers, preparing exams, reading references, and participating debates and discussions. Thus, it is not always easy for them to take academic activities only with Korean for everyday life. In order to resolve this kind of problem, it is necessary that the differences between Korean for academic purposes and Korean for survival or general purposes be analyzed and that the teaching method be researched to develop the Korean proficiency required by academic situation. This research provides academic topic, language structure, activities, and skills required by the program of KAP (Korean for academic purposes) by analyzing academic materials to be dealt with by university students, offers examples of the sample of course design and proposes teaching material development.
