        농업용 편이장비의 사용현황과 성과분석

        The rural development administration started supplying equipment for convenience to the farm area since 2008 as part of the improving the farm work environment. A survey was conducted to the 286 farms in Gyungbuk province for analyzing the usage status and effectiveness of convenience equipment among 3,308 farms supplied until year 2011. From the survey, it was found that the average age of the convenience equipment user age is 56.9. The elderly as well as women farmers used the equipment for work, relieving the labor shortage. Reduced physical loads (posture, dealing with heavy objects, etc.) resulted in the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Regarding the evaluation of equipment, 37% experienced equipment problems, inconvenience in operating and manipulating the equipment, and other issues regarding human body size, noise and vibration. 56% of the users were satisfied. There is a need for research in the areas of part reliability, usability, and in manufacturing better equipment for convenience.

      • Usage status of agricultural equipment for convenience in the farm area and analysis of the outcome

        Development of Motor-Driven Convenience Equipment for Harvesting Chili Peppers on Bare Ground

        Purpose Harvesting chili peppers is a very difficult task in chili pepper farming. It imposes a great burden on farmers, many of whom are old. Therefore, in this study, we proposed and fabricated a motor-driven convenience for harvesting chili peppers. This equipment is suitable for use in the local chili pepper farming environment to help workers harvest chili peppers conveniently. Methods We proposed and fabricated a device by considering the physical body dimensions of farm workers and the chili pepper cultivation method. Moreover, we conducted an experiment to check the ultraviolet (UV) blocking performance of shading nets to develop a sun blocking device that protects workers from UV rays. The performance of the proposed device was evaluated through productivity verification by conducting harvesting tests and convenience analysis by using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) tool. Results The REBA score of the proposed motor-driven convenience equipment for harvesting chili peppers was one point, and harvest quantity per hour achieved with the motor-driven convenience equipment was 21% and 7% higher than those achieved with human labor and the manually driven convenience-type equipment, respectively. Conclusions The proposed motor-driven convenience equipment for harvesting chili peppers improved the productivity of harvesting work compared to those of existing manual convenience equipment and human labor, in addition to improving work convenience.

      • A Development of Standard for Safety Enhancement for the Convenience Equipment

        Objective: This study is to development of standard for safety enhancement for the convenience equipment. Background: The aging population has already increased in farm villages. But due to the usage of the farm working equipment that did not reflect the characteristics and functional changes of aging, accidents and patients with disease are increasing. Method: The study investigated the functional changes and physical, cognitive, and sensuous characteristics of the aged. By determining the criteria for design of the convenient equipment by physical, cognitive, sensuous ability of the elderly. Results: It is obvious that the physical, cognitive and sensuous functions change as the aging process continues. Therefore, for the design and evaluation of Control Panel, Control Lever, Frame Size, Shape, and Equipment Weight that are the necessary items for the ergonomic approach for the farm working equipment, such characteristics have to be reflected. Conclusion: Through this study, a guide to the design and evaluation of convenient equipment for the farm works that reflected the aging characteristics and functional changes has been proposed. Application: The result of this study is to expect not only designers but also related specialists to make the best use of it.

        노인을 위한 친환경 야외 운동기구 및 편의시설물 디자인 개발

        의학의 발달, 생활수준의 향상과 생활환경의 개선으로 인간의 평균수명이 높아지면서 세계는 고령화 사회로 진행되는 속도가 점점 가속화되고 있으며, 이로 인해 고령인구의 건강과 사회복지 향상을 위한 각종 시설들의 사용자 친화적 기능성과 안전성 등에 대한 개선이 시급한과제로 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 고령화 인구의 건강증진이 지속적으로 이루어질 수 있는 신개념의 고령 친화적 스포츠 시설과 운동기구의 개발이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 노인을 위한 친환경 야외 운동기구 및 편의시설물 디자인 개발을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 문헌연구를 통해 유니버설 디자인의 정의에 대해 살펴보고 운동기구 및 편의시설물 디자인 개발을 위한 기초연구자료로서 야외운동기구 및 편의 시설물의 요구 조건에 대해 살펴보았다. 사례연구로서 야외 운동기구 중 노인의 하체 근육발달을 위한 세 가지, 하늘걷기, 옆파도타기, 레그 트레이닝 세 가지 운동기구의 기구 분석과 사용행태 분석을 진행하였으며, 사용행태 분석은 2015년 4월부터 6월까지 기간 동안 서울 양천구 목동의 ‘용왕산 근린공원’과 양천구 신정동의 ‘양천공원’의 세 가지 운동기구를 사용하는 노인 20명의 운동기구 사용 행태를 분석하였다. 이와 같은 문헌연구과 사례연구를 바탕으로 노인을 위한 야외 운동기구 및 편의시설물 디자인을 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통해 기존의 야외 운동기구는 사용의 용이성, 정보전달의 효율성, 안전성 측면에서 개선되어야 할 점이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 문헌연구와 사례연구를 바탕으로 노인을 위한 야외 운동기구 및 편의시설물 디자인을 제안하였으며 사용자의 지적능력뿐 아니라 근력운동에도 도움이 되도록 디자인하였다. 노인의 규칙적인 운동은 건강한 삶을 위해 필수적이며 노인을 위한 다양하고 체계적인 운동기구들이 개발되고 이를 지속적으로 관리 해줄 수 있는 도움이 필요하다. Due to the advanced medicine and improvement of living standard environment human beings are living longer lives and the pace of longer life span has been accelerating. Hence, user-friendly functionality of the safety improvements of health and social welfare facilities to the aging population are emerging as urgent task. Particularly development of senior-friendly sports facilities and fitness equipment with a new concept that contributes to continuous improvement of the health of an aging population are needed. The goal of this study is to develop senior-friendly fitness equipments and convenient facilities. For this purpose, this study took a literature-based research at the definitions of universal design and the design guideline/requirement for sports equipment and convenient facilities. Also this study explores analysis of three sports equipments and also conducts analysis of user behavior for those sports equipments. User behavior analysis was from 20 seniors who used three sports equipments in Mokdong, Sinjeongdong and carries out from April to June, 2015. This study found that senior sports equipment should be improved in the aspect of usability, efficiency, and safety. According to the results of literature-based research and user behavior analysis for sports equipments, this study suggests senior-friendly fitness equipment which helps intellectual capacity and exercise of muscle. Regular exercise is essential for healthy life of seniors, and more sports equipments and convenient facilities should be continuously developed and managed for seniors.

        The objective of this study was to conduct a qualitative market research on the establishment of user convenience-oriented functional definition and the confirmation of potential sales market for various electric logistics equipments, which were developed to improve and efficiently operate on-site logistics and exclusively used in logistics centers, according to the rapid development and change of domestic logistics market. It is time for the domestic logistics circles to discard its labor-intensive operation system in the past, take measures to achieve its goal of reducing manual workload through electric motor equipments and ergonomic designs, and then effectively protect logistics workers from its tough working environment. In this way, the domestic logistics industry must change its value system and realize a practical logistics welfare. In this regard, this study took meaningful attempts to establish an advanced base for the innovative transformation of musculoskeletal disease-causing domestic logistics industry. In other words, this study qualitatively examined the definition and practical use of worker’s welfare-centered logistics equipments, its potential user’s voices and diverse demands, the current status of operation of such equipments according to the work processes of logistics, the priority of user’s requirements on the improvement of logistics equipments, and the convenience of its users, thus presenting basic criteria for the market of worker’s welfare-centered electric logistics equipments in the future. The authors hope many meaningful follow-up studies will be conducted quantitatively in the future based on the findings of this study.

      • Case Study of Work Improvement for Preventing Musculoskeletal Diseases of Rural Woman and Senior Citizens in Aging Society

        Musculoskeletal disorders of the elderly and women in agricultural environment often come from the uncomfortable positions to heavy work for a long time or carrying more exposed the situation which includes repetitive tasks, uncomfortable working postures, heavy material handling and transportation. In order to prevent MSDs and improve work environment in agricultural work, this paper introduces some human factor engineering efforts which has been made in term of farmer-centered design and evaluation of tools and equipment. And it also has conducted a survey on the improvement satisfaction.

        The Development of Design and Evaluation Guidelines of Convenient Equipments of Farm Work for the Elderly

      • The Ergonomic Evaluation of the Convenience Equipment Project in Agriculture

        농업은 타 산업에 비하여 재해율이 높아 광업, 건설업과 함께 3대 위험산업으로 분류되고 있으며 미국, 유럽 등 선진 여러 나라에서는 고위험 산업인 농업에 국가적으로 재해 예방 및 관리 대책에 많은 정책적 관심을 기울이고 있다. 농촌진흥청은 농업인의 작업부담을 감소시키고 작업능률을 향상시키고자 2008년부터 10년간 "농작업 환경개선 편이장비 지원사업"을 도입하여 추진 중에 있다. 본 연구는 편이장비 지원사업의 인간공학적 평가를 위해 2010년 편이장비 지원사업에 선정된 135개 사업대상지 농업기술센터 담당자 85명과 작목회 대표 233명 총 318명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시 하였다. 그리고 각 작목회별 컨설턴트에 의해 작성된 컨설팅 보고서를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 본 사업의 운영 및 성과를 판단하는데 유용한 자료로 활용될 것으로 판단되며, 향후 본 사업의 효율적인 운영을 위한 개선방향을 모색하여 성과제고를 위한 기초자료를 구축하는데 많은 도움을 줄 것으로 판단된다.

        Depending on the increase of the convenience and safety equipment change to electronic in Vehicle, there is a tendency that the functional safety of electronic equipment problems have emerged. Early sunroof was a method of manually actuated, but has evolved to be automatically actuated by a switch operation. Function of the sunroof system has been added and development. System and function and Controller Software of the sunroof has become diverse and complex. Developers are working directly functional safety tests for user safety. But by people to practice, time of re- verification of human error that can occur is insufficient. In this paper, studied how can verify the functional safety of using an automatic test equipment system.
