        공사용도면 현황분석에 기반한 일반업무시설 실시설계도면 체크리스트 개선방안

        Currently the quality of construction drawings is deteriorated due to restrictions on time costs allowed to the design phase. Moreover shop drawings are arbitrarily produced without the standard criteria, and cleared off after the completion of construction. As a result, the information of produced shop drawings is not feedback to the design phase, and the quality of the construction drawings become worse. This study proposes checklists that include information requested at construction sites and the shop drawings as well as the existing checklists for the construction drawings. The checklists integrate designer's check-items according to breakdown of drawings and contractor's check-items base don construction process. Index matrices of the integrated checklists is developed for practical application of the checklists, and validated through intensive interview with design and construction practitioners. 현재 실시설계도면 작성과정에서 시간, 비용 등 제한조건으로 인해 실시설계도면 자체의 품질저하가 발생하고 있으며, 시공상세도는 표준화된 기준이 없이 임의적으로 작성되고 프로젝트 완료 후 대부분이 폐기가 되어 설계단계로 피드백 되지 않아 실시설계도면 품질저하의 악순환이 초래되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실시설계도면과 시공상세도의 품질 향상을 위하여 일반업무시설에 대한 기존 실시설계 체크리스트를 기본으로 공사현장에 요구되는 정보와 시공상세도를 반영하고, 설계자의 설계도면 구성 분류에 따른 검토항목과 시공자의 공사별 분류 방법에 따른 검토항목을 상호 연계함으로써 시공성을 반영한 실시설계도면 체크리스트 개선안을 제시하였다. 실시설계도면과 시공단계가 연계된 공사별 통합 체크리스트의 활용성을 위해 인덱스 매트릭스를 개발하였으며, 실무전문가를 대상으로 심층면담조사를 통해 유효성을 확인하였다.

        비정형 건축 형상정보의 효과적인 전달을 위한 도면표현요소 연구

        In the representation of buildings with continuous changes in the curved shape of the surface, countless plans or sections are required, ornone of the traditional drawings can explain the geometry of it. In other words, in no case can an ordinary drawing achieve the efficient andclear communication capability which is inherent function of the drawings. As a result, the current architects are introducing their own wayof drawing technique which is developed in accordance with a specific curved shape, construction method or company resources, but this isnot what can be applied to other cases because it has not been ever shared or agreed in the industry. In this process, the drawing orconstruction of curved building has been recognized as the exclusive property of a specific expert, or the design and construction without thein-depth understanding of the technology have resulted in the appearance of poor buildings. Therefore, this study aims to present an elementsand method that can convey shape information more effectively and clearly in the drawing representation of non-linear buildings and, thus,contributes to lowering the barriers to entry into the field by providing the information to be easily applied to related projects. In order toattain this goal, the drawings of recently completed projects of free form building are analyzed to reveal the method used to effectivelyexpress the shape information of the building and to derive new drawing elements that have not been applied to the existing drawings. 건축에서 '도면'은 설계에 대한 설명과 해석을 제공하는 약속된 언어로서, 건축가들의 대표적인 의사소통 방법이다. 그러나, 기존 정방형 건물에 최적화된 도면기법을 사용하여 복잡한 비정형 건축물을 설계, 시공하는 것에는 한계가 있다. 도면만으로 곡면 형상의 연속적인 변화를 가진 건물을 표현하고자 할 경우 무수히 많은 평면 혹은 단면이 필요하거나 혹은 아예 불가능할 수 있는데 이는 한정된 수의 투상도면만으로는 곡면 전체의 지오메트리를 설명할 수 없기 때문이다. 즉, 특정 건물형에 있어서는 일반적인 도면만으로는 도면이 가진 본연의 효율적이고 명확한 의사소통 기능을 달성할 수 없다는 것이다. 그 결과, 현재의 건축가들은 비정형 건물을 구현하기위해 형상별, 공법별, 회사별로 특화된 저마다의 방식으로 도면을 작성하고 있으나 이는 업계에서 공유되거나 합의된 방식이 아니기 때문에 지속가능하지 않다. 이러한 과정속에서 곡면 형상 건축물의 도면을 작성하거나 시공하는 것이 특정 전문가만의 전유물로 인식되거나 혹은 기술에 대한 심도있는 이해없이 설계, 시공된 부실한 건축물이 다수 출현하는 등 부작용도 나타나고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 비정형 건축물의 도면표현에 있어 형상정보를 보다 효과적이고 명확하게 전달할 수 있는 방법에 대해 제시하여 해당 분야의 기술적인 이해를 돕고 진입장벽을 낮출 수 있도록 기여하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 최근에 완성된 비정형 곡면 건축 프로젝트의 도면을 분석하여 건물의 형상 정보를 효과적으로 표현하기 위해 쓰인 방법을 밝히고, 기존 도면에 적용되지 않던 새로운 도면 요소를 도출하여 개선된 도면 표현요소와 작성 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

        실시설계단계 BIM과 도면의 정합성 검토를 위한 체크리스트 개발

        The consistency between a building information model(BIM) and drawings are very important and has a critical impact on the usage of BIM throughout the project life-cycle. The purpose of this study is to develop a checklist for the consistency check between BIM and drawings. In this research, requirements for drawings in the construction documentation phase were analyzed. In generating drawings based on BIM, a checklist can help practitioners confirm what to modify in the BIM model and what to modify in CAD drawings. Finally, it is expected that the work efficiency will be improved by reducing the unnecessary work by distinguishing the elements that can be extracted from the BIM model from the elements that requires additional works when generating BIM-based drawings.

        실시설계단계 BIM 기반 도면 작업 효율 향상을 위한 도면화 템플릿 개발

        Based on the prior research which developed the consistency review checklist of the BIM model and 2D drawing through the drawing analysis of the construction documents phase, the apparent limits of the existing template and the template development items were derived. As well, the BIM-based drawing templates of the construction documentation phase were developed and verified using ArchiCAD BIM software. The developed template was then applied to the actual project model in the construction documents phase, and, as a result, 50% of existing work elements could be utilized as templates. This is an increase of more than 30% over the existing template utilization elements, and it is analyzed to be effective in practical application and utilization. Based on the results of this study, if the BIM model construction criteria matching the drawing's utilization purpose are presented, while at the same time the BIM data interlocking and drawing template development studies are conducted, the utilization of BIM data can be maximized and additional drawing work can be minimized to increase the percentage of template utilization elements. In addition, it is believed that this can employed to address functional and institutional problems of BIM-based drawing and make a contribution to the activation of BIM.

      • 특허법상 명세서, 발명설명서(Description), 청구항 및 도면의 개념 재정립 방안

        This paper firstly indicates that some terminologies in the Korea Patent Act, such as specification, scope of claims are not consistently or logically used and that those are not correspondent with those used in international treaties or foreign patent laws, and then secondly suggests that a patent request shall be attached by specification and abstract and the specification shall consist of description, claim(s) and drawing(s). Furthermore, this paper suggests that not only description but also drawing(s) and claim(s) may enable a PHOSITA to carry out the claimed invention and that the claimed invention may be supported by not only description but also drawing(s) and claim(s). To substantialize these suggestions, it is necessary to drastically amend the Korea Patent Act. The Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) plans to introduce the Patent Law Treaty into the Korea Patent Act within 2012. Taking advantage of the introduction and necessary amendment of law, KIPO had better to re-structure concepts of important terminologies (specification, description, claim and drawing) as suggested by this paper and amend relevant provisions of the Korea Patent Act.
