A Qualitative Analysis of the Counselor’s Media UseCounseling ExperienceYoonjoo Lee Abstract: This study aimed to explore the purpose and effect counselors experience in the counseling process using media. The results of interviews with 10 counselors with more than 3 years of experience were analyzed using a hermeneutic method. The experience of the research participants was divided into 4 upper categories: ‘promoting thawing and psychological opening', 'helping understanding, empathy, and validation’, ‘activating conditions for change’, and ‘promoting and amplifying change’, and 10 subcategories classified into 35 semantic units. This was analyzed again in terms of the counseling situation and the process and action of using media for each purpose. Participants who are transitioning from novice to intermediate counselors have flexibly used various types of media for very diverse situations and purposes, and have positively experienced their works and effects. Future research and practice on the development and effectiveness confirmation of media utilization counseling education were suggested. Key Words: Counseling, Media, Media Utilization, Counselor, Qualitative Analysis 상담자의 매체 활용 상담 경험에 관한 질적 분석이 윤 주* 연구 목적: 이 연구는 상담자들이 상담에서 매체를 어떻게 활용하고 있는지, 어떤 목적과 작용 효과를 경험하는지를 질적으로 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구 방법: 3년 이상의 상담경력을 가진 10명의 상담자와의 인터뷰 결과를 해석학적 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 연구 참여자들의 경험은 크게 ‘해빙과 심리적 개방 촉진’, ‘이해, 공감, 타당화를 도움’, ‘변화 조건 활성화’, ‘변화의 촉진과 증폭’의 4개의 상위범주와 이에 따른 10개의 하위범주, 35개의 의미단위로 분류되었다. 이는 상담의 상황, 목적별 매체활용 과정과 작용으로 다시 분석되었다. 결론 및 제언: 초심상담자에서 중급상담자로 이행 중인 연구참여자들은 매우 다양한 상황, 목적으로 다양한 종류의 매체를 유연하게 사용하였으며 그 작용 및 효과 역시 긍정적으로 경험하였다. 상담자들을 위한 매체 활용 교육을 개발하고 그 효과를 확인하는 추후 연구와 실제가 요구된다. 핵심어: 상담, 매체, 매체 활용, 상담자, 질적 분석 □ 접수일: 2022년 11월 21일, 수정일: 2022년 12월 1일, 게재확정일: 2022년 12월 20일* 영남대학교 교육학과 교수(Professor, Yeungnam Univ., Email: leeyj@yu.ac.kr)

우리나라 학교진로상담의 현황과 개선 방안

현대인들은 급변하는 직업 세계에 주도적으로 진입하여 길어진 생애기간 동안 유연하게 적응해야 한다. 이를 위해 학창 시절부터 전생애 진로발달을 위한 자질을 기를 필요가 있다. 따라서 학교진로상담이 학생들의 진로발달을 돕는 방향으로 작동하고 있는지를 점검하고 그 개선방안을 논의하는 것은 중요한 일이다. 이에 이 연구에서는 학교 진로상담의 현황을 정리하고, 그것을 바탕으로 학교진로상담 활성화 방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 학교진로상담 관련 법, 제도, 국가교육과정, 통계, 기관보고서, 학술 자료들을 분석하였다. 그 결과 학교진로상담의 현황을 맥락, 현장, 현안으로 구분하여 정리하였고, 이를 바탕으로 학교진로상담 활성화 방안을 학교진로상담의 법적․제도적 위상 확보, 학교 내 진로상담체계 구축, 교원양성과정 개선, ‘학교진로상담 전문가 과정’의 필요성 측면에서 논의하였다.

미국 복음주의 내 성경적 상담의 확장과 ‘신칼빈주의’

The purpose of this study is to investigate New Calvinism’s influence as a major cause to the recent expansion of Biblical Counseling Movement in American Evangelicalism, The study first examines the status of Biblical Counseling in Evangelical Christian Counseling, and then describes how Biblical Counseling as well as New Calvinism have expanded in American evangelicalism. The study argues that to understand the rise of Biblical Counseling 'New Calvinism" should be examined. To prove New Calvinism’s influence on Biblical Counseling, the study investigates the writings of Timothy Keller and John Piper, two important leaders of New Calvinism, in the areas of theology and counseling. The study pointed out that Biblical Counseling was founded on the principles of Reformed theology and has emphasizes God, the Bible, and Church. In the area of counseling theory, the article noted that Biblical Counseling put emphasis on biblical understanding of person and motivation of heart. Based on this examination, It was argued that Keller and Piper, in their writings, share these theological and counseling views with Biblical Counseling. As a conclusion, the study provides implication that examining theological influence in studying Christian counseling is important, and suggests that future studies need to develop concrete models of change and methods to enhance Biblical Counseling. 이 논문의 목적은 미국 복음주의 기독교상담 안에 최근에 일어나는 성경적 상담 확장의 주요 원인으로 ‘신칼빈주의’의 부상을 고찰하는 것이다. 이 글은 먼저 성경적 상담이 복음주의 기독교상담 안에서 차지하는 위치를 검토한 후, 성경적 상담과 신칼빈주의가 어떻게 미국 복음주의권에서 확장되고 있는지를 기술한다. 이를 통해 최근의 성경적 상담 확장을 이해하기 위해서는 복음주의권에서 일어나고 있는 신칼빈주의를 고찰해야 함을 주장한다. 성경적 상담과 신칼빈주의의 연관성을 구체적으로 밝히기 위해 이 논문은 ‘신칼빈주의’의 대표적 지도자인 Timothy Keller와 John Piper의 글들과 성경적 상담의 연관성을 신학적인 영역과 상담적 영역으로 나누어 고찰한다. 구체적으로 신학적 영역에서는 칼빈주의의 특징인 ‘하나님 중심’ ‘성경중심’ ‘교회중심’을 그리고 상담적 영역에서는 ‘인간 이해’와 ‘동기 이론’을 고찰한 후, Keller와 Piper는 그들의 저작에서 성경적 상담과 같은 신학적, 상담학적 관점을 공유하고 있음을 지적한다. 마지막으로 이 논문은 기독교상담 연구에서 신학적 영향의 중요성을 지적하며 동시에 성경적 상담이 최근의 확장에 안주하기 보다는 그에 상응하는 구체적인 상담이론과 방법을 개발하는 연구가 필요함을 제안한다.

초등학교 상담의 활성화를 위한 일 연구 : 전문상담교사의 역할 수행을 중심으로

학교상담의 중요성에도 불구하고 우리 나라에는 현재까지 학교상담, 특히 초등학교 상담 및 전문상담교사에 관한 전문적인 연구들이 매우 부족하며, 특히 도입 4년이 지난 전문상담 교사 양성과정상의 문제점과 배출 후 그들의 위상 및 역할과 관련하여 여러 가지 문제점이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 전문상담교사의 역할 수행을 중심으로 초등학교 상담의 전문성 확립 및 활성화를 위한 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저, 미국의 초등학교에서 학교상담 활동을 위해 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 종합학교상담프로그램 중, 가장 최근의 이론인 학교상담 프로그램을 위한 국가모델에 기초하여 학교상담의 특징을 파악해 보았다. 그리고 초등 전문 상담교사 자격을 갖춘 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 우리 나라 초등학교 상담의 실태와 전문상담교사 양성과정 및 역할 수행에 관한 실태를 분석하였다. 그리고 이들의 응답 내용을 바탕으로 전문상담교사의 역할 수행을 중심으로 초등학교 상담의 전문성 확립 및 활성화를 위한 방안을 탐색하여, 전문상담교사 자격 취득의 동기 전환, 상담교사 양성과정의 교육과정 개선, 상담활동의 공식화, 전문상담교사의 적극적 활용, 체제지원, 상담 인력 및 상담 지원인력의 확보 등이 필요함을 제안하였다.

연구논문 : 다문화사회에서의 성경적 상담

이 글은 포스트모더니즘 사회에 살고 있는 성경적 상담사가 한국 사회에 이주해 온 이주민들을 이해하며 그들의 문제를 성경적으로 어떻게 상담할 지를 쓰고 있다. 또한 필자가 중국에서 성경적 상담연구소를 통해 사역한 다문화 상담을 소개하고 있다. 먼저 이미 다문화사회로 진입한 다른 나라들의 예를 들면서 그들이 겪고 있는 갈등들을 보면서 예측할 수 있는 갈등을 알아보고 있다. 둘재, 한국의 다문화 상황과 실태를 조사하였고, 셋째, 다문화 사회의 문제점과 성경적 상담을 위한 기본 전제를 썼다. 넷째, 다문화 상담에서의 성경적 상담 적용을 위한 훈련을 썼다. 마지막으로 중국에서 한국인으로서 성경적 상담을 하는 중국성경적 상담연구소의 소개와 상담사례를 소개 하였다. The purpose of the thesis is to understand the immigrants in Korean society and to propose a biblical counseling for the biblical counselors. It also introduces the multicultural counseling took place in Biblical Counselling Institute in China. First, the thesis looks into the predictable conflicts from the cases of the other countries which stepped into multicultural society before Korea. Secondly, it researched the current situation and condition. Third, it identified the issues of multicultural society and the basic prerequisite for biblical counselling. Lastly, it introduced Chinese Biblical Counselling Research Center by Korean, and some case.

한국 상담자의 수퍼비전을 위한 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전의 통합방안 탐색

In this study, the researcher explored how can integrate multi-cultural social justice counseling into the supervision for Korean counselors. This is because it is difficult for the counselor who has never experienced multi-cultural social justice supervision to successfully conduct multi-cultural social justice counseling. To this end, the researcher reviewed the preceding studies related to the supervision such as; multi-cultural social justice counseling competency, multi-cultural social justice counseling supervision, and outlined the plan to apply multi-cultural social justice counseling supervision for Korean counselors. As it is still difficult to find prior researches on the multi-cultural social justice counseling supervision in Korea, the research reviewed mainly studies from overseas. The results are as follows: for an effective supervision in Korea where the hierarchy of supervisory relations is strong, it was necessary to integrate the multi-cultural social justice counseling supervision, specifically, providing a safe supervision atmosphere, establishing cultural relations, understanding individual in the system, empowering, and advocacy needed to be noted and utilized. The study also discussed the reasons why it is not actively applied in the field despite the widespread awareness of the need for multi-cultural social justice counseling supervision and what should be prepared to activate it. 이 연구에서는 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전을 한국 상담자를 위한 수퍼비전에 통합하는 방안에 대해 탐색하였다. 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전을 받아보지 못한 상담자가 상담현장에서 그것을 성공적으로 실시하기는 어렵기 때문이다. 이를 위해 수퍼비전, 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전 역량, 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전의 지침에 관련된 선행연구들을 검토하고, 한국 상담자를 위한 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전 적용방안을 정리하였다. 아직 국내에서는 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전 관련 선행 연구를 찾아보기 어려워서 다문화 사회정의 수퍼비전 관련 연구는 해외의 것들을 중심으로 검토하였다. 연구 결과 수퍼비전 관계의 위계성이 강한 한국에서 효과적인 수퍼비전을 진행하기 위해서는 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전을 통합할 필요가 있으며, 구체적으로는 안전한 수퍼비전 분위기 제공, 문화적 관계 형성, 체계 속의 개인 이해, 역량강화와 옹호에 주목하고 활용할 필요가 있었다. 아울러 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전의 필요성에 대한 인식의 확산에도 불구하고 현장에서 활발하게 적용되지 않는 이유와 다문화 사회정의 상담 수퍼비전의 활성화를 위해 준비해야 할 것은 무엇인지를 논의하였다.

소비자상담센터의 효율적 운영 및 소비자상담사 활용 활성화 방안 조사연구

소비자불만해소 및 소비자피해구제를 위한 소비자단체, 한국소비자원, 지방자치단체 등에서 소비자상담센터를 운영해왔다. 그동안 성과가 괄목할만하였음에는 틀림없으나 여러 기관들의 중복상담으로 인한 사회적 비용 및 소비자상담센터의 효율성에 대한 논의는 계속되어 왔다. 그 결과 2010년부터 공정거래위원회 주도의 단일 상담전화망(국번 없이 1372)을 설치하여 통합소비자상담센터를 운영하기 시작하였다. 통합소비자상담센터는 개소하였으나 소비자상담센터의 효율적 운영 문제는 여전히 중요한 이슈이다. 본 연구에서는 통합소비자상담센터의 개소를 계기로 첫째, 소비자상담센터의 기본적 조직 및 운영, 소비자상담사의 조건 및 자질, 소비자상담사교육, 소비자상담사와 소비자상담센터의 평가, 소비자상담센터의 효율적 운영 등에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 둘째, 소비자상담사의 배출 및 소비자상담사 활용 방안에 대해 제언하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 첫째, 소비자상담센터의 효율적 운영을 위해 인터넷 상담 등 다양한 상담방법의 활용, 구매전 상담의 활성화, 상담과정과 관련한 적극적 정보제공, 다양한 상담서비스 프로그램 개발을 제언하였다. 그룹상담제도, 상담사 멘토제도, 상담보증제, 소비자상담실명제도, one-stop 형태의 상담프로그램 도입을 제언하였다. 둘째, 본 연구는 소비자상담사 배출 활성화 방안으로 노동부 직업훈련 관련 사업에 소비자상담사과정 개설, 대학의 평생교육원 및 지방자치단체의 평생교육사업에 소비자상담사 관련 과정을 개설한다. 또한, 기업의 고객상담실과 콜센터에 소비자상담사 자격증과정 개설, 소비자업무협회의 오프라인과 온라인 소비자상담사교육과정 운영, 평생교육원 학점은행제 과정에 소비자학 전공 개설을 제안하였다. 셋째, 소비자상담사의 활용촉진방안으로 본 연구는 지방자치단체 및 공공기관의 소비자상담사 활용촉진방안, 소비자상담사활용 우수기업우대 프로그램 개발, 기업 대상 소비자지향성 평가제도 도입, 소비자업무협회의 소비자상담사 아카데미 과정 운영을 통한 고용촉진, 소비자업무협회의 상담업무개시 등을 제언하였다.

전문상담교사와 일반상담교사 배치 학교 학생들의 학교상담에 대한 인식

This study tried to compare and analyze the differences in the students’ perception on the actual counseling conditions, the expected roles of counselors, the satisfaction with their service, and the measures to improve school counseling between the schools that place professional counseling teachers and the schools that place general counseling teachers who teach regular curriculum with proper counseling certificate. This study carried out and analyzed a national survey with 1,650 students in the middle and high schools with professional counseling teachers and 1,662 students in those with certified general counseling. The survey found that the students in the schools with specialized counseling teachers showed more positive perception of the overall factors of school counseling and the higher rates in the role expectation for and satisfaction with counseling teachers. Both groups turned out to have been highly aware of the need for the presence of professional counseling teachers in school as a leading role and for a way to improve student counseling. However, it turned out negatively the environmental conditions of school counseling, the lack in the understanding of and distrust with school counseling and the roles and qualification of counseling teacher. Therefore, this study has its objectivities in suggesting the measures and plans to improve the problems in school counseling regarding the perceptual change of students on professional and general counseling teachers for school counseling, the advancement in the conditions of school counseling, the qualification and expertise of counseling teachers and the expansion of the presence of professional counseling teachers in school. The results from this study stress the environmental improvement of counseling conditions in school and the importance of the development of qualification and expertise of professional counseling teachers in order to provide students with the high quality of counseling. This study also has significance in that the findings propose the opportunity of more active and live counseling performance, the presence of professional counseling teachers in school and better counseling services. 본 연구는 전문상담교사와 일반상담교사가 배치된 학교 학생들의 학교상담 실태, 역할 기대, 상담 만족도, 학교상담 발전 방안에 대한 인식의 차이를 분석하여 문제점에 대한 개선책과 학교상담 활성화 및 발전 방안을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 전국 중고등학교에 재학 중인 전문상담교사가 배치된 학교 학생 1,605명, 일반상담교사가 배치된 학교 학생 1,662명을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사 내용을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 전문상담교사 배치 학교 학생들이 학교상담 실태 전반적 요인에서 긍정적 인식을 하였으며, 상담교사에 대한 역할 기대 수준과 상담 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 두 집단 모두 학교상담의 주체 요인과 발전 방안으로 상담만을 전담하는 전문상담교사 배치의 필요성을 높게 인식하고 있었다. 그러나 학교상담 여건과 환경, 상담에 대한 이해 부족과 불신, 상담교사 역할과 자질 등에 대해서 부정적 인식의 결과로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 전문상담교사와 일반상담교사가 배치된 학교 학생들의 인식에 따른 학교상담에 대한 이해와 인식변화, 상담활동 여건과 환경 개선, 상담교사의 역할 자질과 전문성 신장, 전문상담교사 배치 확대 시행 등 학교상담의 문제점에 대한 개선책과 활성화 및 발전 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 결과는 학생들에게 질 높은 상담을 제공하기 위해서 상담 여건과 환경을 개선하고, 전문상담교사로서의 역할 자질과 전문성 신장의 중요함을 일깨워 준다. 아울러 적극적이고 활발한 상담활동을 전개할 수 있도록 각 급 학교에 전문상담교사를 배치하여 만족한 상담서비스를 제공해 줄 수 있도록 하는데 의의가 있다고 본다.

상담자, 내담자의 상담에 대한 기대와 작업동맹이 상담회기평가에 미치는 영향: 자기효과 및 상대방효과 검증

This study analyzed the data through APIM based on MLM to investigate the interaction of counselor and client in the effects of counseling expectation and working alliance on session evaluation. For this purpose, counseling expectation was measured before starting the most recent session and working alliance, session evaluation were measured after the session. Participants for the study were 112 counselor-client dyads. Results of the study showed that actor effects of counseling expectation on session evaluation were more clear than partner effects. Partner effects were partly shown in expectations for counselor's expertness, client's role and counseling outcome. Additionally, results found that counselor's and client's counseling expectation could show different effects on partner's session smoothness. Furthermore, actor and partner effects of working alliance on session evaluation were significant, but moderating effects of the counselor and client roles on session smoothness were indicated. Finally, implications and limitations of the present study are discussed. 본 연구는 상담자와 내담자의 상담에 대한 기대와 작업동맹이 상담회기평가에 미치는 영향에서 상담자와 내담자 간에 상호작용을 규명하기 위해 다층 모형을 이용한 자기-상대방 상호의존 모형으로 자료를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 상담자-내담자 112쌍을 대상으로 가장 최근에 진행된 상담 회기를 시작하기 전에 상담에 대한 기대를 측정하고, 해당 상담 회기를 마친 후에 작업동맹, 상담회기평가를 측정하였다. 본 연구 결과, 상담에 대한 기대가 상담회기평가에 미치는 자기효과가 상대방효과보다 더 뚜렷하게 나타났고, 상대방효과는 상담자 전문성 기대, 내담자 역할 기대, 상담 성과 기대에서만 부분적으로 나타났다. 또한, 상담자와 내담자의 상담관계 기대와 상담자 전문성 기대가 상대방의 회기 순조로움에 각각 다른 영향을 줄 수 있다는 것을 발견하였다. 그리고 작업동맹이 상담회기평가에 미치는 자기효과와 상대방효과가 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났는데, 회기 순조로움에 대해서 상담자와 내담자에 따른 차이가 발견되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 상담에 대한 시사점과 제한점에 관해 논의하였다.

기독교상담 정체성 모델에 관한 고찰 - 기독교 삼위일체 신학 정신에 입각한 “3I” 모델 -

현대 심리상담 분야에서 기독교상담 영역은 높은 수준의 전문성과 공공의 영향력 을 가지고 발전해왔다. 그러나 그 이면에는 일반 상담이론과 상담방법론을 도구로 사 용하는 기독교상담자들에게 기독교상담 정체성에 관한 질문들에 명료하게 답하기 어 려운 모호함이 존재해왔다. 때문에 기독교상담은 실천적 학문으로서 발전해오면서 정 체성에 관한 연구들이 지속적으로 수행되어 왔다. 주로 기독교상담의 상담방법론적인 정체성을 확립하고자 일반 상담심리 이론이나 상담방법론을 신학적으로 재해석하는 접근들이었다. 본 논문은 기존의 정체성 연구들의 업적을 계승하면서도 기독교 신학 정신의 핵심인 삼위일체 신학 정신에 입각한 기독교상담의 실천적 세계관과 상담자가 지녀야할 정신과 태도를 제시함으로써 새로운 접근의 기독교상담 정체성을 드러내고 자 하였다. 본 논문은 기독교상담의 정체성 모델을 기독교 삼위일체 신학 정신의 영문 이니셜 을 연결하여 “3I” 모델이라고 명명하여 제안하고자 한다. 첫 번째 “I”는 Incarnation, 즉 성육신 신학 정신을 의미한다. 이는 성육신 신학 정신으로 그리스도를 본받아 내 담자를 공감하라는 정신이다. 두 번째 “I”는 Imago-Dei, 즉 하나님의 형상 신학 정신 을 의미한다. 이는 하나님의 형상대로 지음받은 내담자를 존중하고 인간 내면의 하나님의 표상을 함께 발견하라는 정신이다. 세 번째 “I”는 Inspiration, 즉 성령감화 신학 정신을 의미한다. 이는 영적 존재인 인간 내면의 영적 통찰과 깨달음을 촉진하라는 정신이다. 이 세 가지 “I”를 연결한 “3I 모델”을 기독교상담자가 지녀야 하는 정신 요 소로써 기독교상담 정체성 모델을 제안하는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다. In the field of modern professional counseling, the field of Christian Counseling has developed with a high level of expertise and public influence. However, behind it, Christian counselors who learn and use general counseling theory as a methodology have experienced the discomfort of ambiguity in front of questions about the identity of Christian Counseling. Therefore, as Christian Counseling has developed into a practical discipline, studies on identity have been continuously conducted. It was mainly approaches that theological hermeneutics of general counseling psychology theory or methodology to establish the counseling methodological identity of Christian Counseling. While inheriting the achievements of precedent studies about the identity of Christian Counseling, this study attempted to propose the Christian Counseling identity of a new approach by presenting the practical worldview of Christian Counseling and the spirit and attitude that counselors should have based on the Trinity theological spirit. This study proposes the identity model of Christian Counseling by linking the English initials of the Christian Trinity Theological spirit with the name "3I Model". The first "I" means Incarnation, that is, theological spirit of Incarnation. This is a spirit to follow Christ with the spirit of sympathizing with the client. The second "I" means Imago-Dei, that is, the spirit of Imago-Dei(God) theology. This is the spirit of respecting the client, who has been created in the Imago-Dei(God), and discovering the image of God inside the client together. The third "I" means Inspiration, that is, the spirit of the Holy Spirit and Inspiration theology. This is the spirit to promote spiritual insights and enlightenment in the clients, who are spiritual beings. The purpose of this study is to propose a Christian Counseling identity model that presents the "3I model" that connects these three "I"s as a spiritual element that Christian counselors must have.
