Sensitivity Analysis of Laser Quenching Parameters of ASTM 1045 of Disk Laser Based on Response Surface Method

        Zhibin Yu,Chang Li,Zhengwei Chen,Yunfei Li,Xing Han 대한금속·재료학회 2021 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.27 No.5

Laser hardening is an important branch of laser surface hardening technology, which is widely used in metallurgy, transportation, machinery manufacturing, aerospace and other fields. At present, relying entirely on experience or process trial-anderrormethod, it can not effectively reveal the transient mechanism of laser quenching of disk laser, which is not conduciveto shortening the research and development cycle and saving costs. The numerical simulation provides an effective way toobtain the dynamic evolution law of multi-field coupling in laser quenching process. In this paper, a thermo-mechanicalcoupling model of ASTM 1045 laser quenching process by disk laser is established. In the model, the temperature-dependentphysical parameters were calculated by CALPHAD method. The transient law of temperature and microstructural transformationduring quenching was obtained by solving the model. The formation and transformation degree of martensite werecharacterized by the dynamic changes of the depth and width of quenched transformation layer. The quenching structure andtransformation hardening law were observed by Axioskop 2 SEM and Zeiss-IGMA HD FE-SEM to verify the accuracy ofthe simulation results. On this basis, the process parameters of laser quenching were sampled by Monte-Carlo method basedon response surface methodology. The sensitivity effects of different process parameters on the temperature field and phasechange field of laser quenching were analyzed, which laid a theoretical foundation for the optimization of process parameters.

Secured Green Communication Scheme for Interference Alignment Based Networks

        Zhibin Xie,Xinquan Geng,Yunfei Chen,Kening Song,Benjamin Panful,Yajun Wang,Yinjie Su,Zhenkai Zhang,Ying Hu 한국통신학회 2020 Journal of communications and networks Vol.22 No.1

In this paper, a new security and green communicationscheme is proposed to the interference-alignment (IA) based networks. To achieve a secured communication, full-duplex receiversare utilized to transmit artificial noise (AN). Both the signals andthe ANs are used to harvest energy to realize green communication. For these reasons, the feasible conditions of this scheme areanalyzed first. Secondly, the average transmission rate, the secrecyperformance and the harvested energy are investigated. Thirdly,an optimization scheme of simultaneous wireless information andpower transfer (SWIPT) is given to optimize the information transmissionand the energy harvesting efficiency. Meanwhile, an improvedIA iteration algorithm is designed to eliminate both the ANand the interference. Furthermore, relay cooperation is consideredand its system performance is analyzed. The simulations show thatthe target average transmission rate is not affected by AN, whilethe secrecy performance can be greatly improved. The energy harvestingefficiency is also better than the traditional schemes. Asexpected, the average transmission rate further is improved withthe relay cooperation.

Review : Purification and Characterization of a Novel Extracellular Thermostable Alkaline Protease from Streptomyces sp. M30

( Yan Xin ),( Zhibin Sun ),( Qiongzhen Chen ),( Jue Wang ),( Yicheng Wang ),( Linfeng Luogong ),( Shuhuan Li ),( Weiliang Dong ),( Zhongli Cui ),( Yan Huang ) 한국미생물 · 생명공학회 2015 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.25 No.11

A novel alkaline protease from Streptomyces sp. M30, SapHM, was purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation, hydrophobic interaction chromatography, and DEAE-Sepharose chromatography, with a yield of 15.5% and a specific activity of 29,070 U/mg. Tryptic fragments of the purified SapHM were obtained by electrospray ionization quadrupole timeof- flight mass spectrometry. Nucleotide sequence analysis revealed that the gene sapHM contained 1,179 bp, corresponding to 392 amino acids with conserved Asp156, His187, and Ser339 residues of alkaline protease. The first 24 amino acid residues were predicted to be a signal peptide, and the molecular mass of the mature peptide was 37.1 kDa based on amino acid sequences and mass spectrometry. Pure SapHM was optimally active at 80°C in 50 mM glycine-NaOH buffer (pH 9.0), and was broadly stable at 0-50°C and pH 4.0-9.0. The protease relative activity was increased in the presence of Ni2+, Mn2+, and Cu2+ to 112%, 113%, and 147% of control, respectively. Pure SapHM was also activated by dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, Tween 80, and urea. The activity of the purified enzyme was completely inhibited by phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride, indicating that it is a serine-type protease. The Km and Vmax values were estimated to be 35.7 mg/ml, and 5 × 104 U/mg for casein. Substrate specificity analysis showed that SapH was active on casein, bovine serum albumin, and bovine serum fibrin.

Resonant Frequency Estimation of Reradiation Interference at MF from Power Transmission Lines Based on Generalized Resonance Theory

        Tang Bo,Chen Bin,Zhao Zhibin,Xiao Zheng,Wang Shuang 대한전기학회 2015 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.10 No.3

The resonant mechanism of reradiation interference (RRI) over 1.7MHz from power transmission lines cannot be obtained from IEEE standards, which are based on researches of field intensity. Hence, the resonance is ignored in National Standards of protecting distance between UHV power lines and radio stations in China, which would result in an excessive redundancy of protecting distance. Therefore, based on the generalized resonance theory, we proposed the idea of applying model-based parameter estimation (MBPE) to estimate the generalized resonance frequency of electrically large scattering objects. We also deduced equation expressions of the generalized resonance frequency and its quality factor Q in a lossy open electromagnetic system, i.e. an antennatransmission line system in this paper. Taking the frequency band studied by IEEE and the frequency band over 1.7 MHz as object, we established three models of the RRI from transmission lines, namely the simplified line model, the tower line model considering cross arms and the line-surface mixed model. With the models, we calculated the scattering field of sampling points with equal intervals using method of moments, and then inferred expressions of Pade rational function. After calculating the zero-pole points of the Pade rational function, we eventually got the estimation of the RRI’s generalized resonant frequency. Our case studies indicate that the proposed estimation method is effective for predicting the generalized resonant frequency of RRI in medium frequency (MF, 0.3~3 MHz) band over 1.7 MHz, which expands the frequency band studied by IEEE.

LasR Might Act as an Intermediate in Overproduction of Phenazines in the Absence of RpoS in Pseudomonas aeruginosa

( Qiuning He ),( Zhibin Feng ),( Yanhua Wang ),( Kewen Wang ),( Kailu Zhang ),( Le Kai ),( Xiuying Hao ),( Zhifen Yu ),( Lijuan Chen ),( Yihe Ge ) 한국미생물생명공학회(구 한국산업미생물학회) 2019 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.29 No.8

As an opportunistic bacterial pathogen, Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 contains two phenazineproducing gene operons, phzA1B1C1D1E1F1G1 (phz1) and phzA2B2C2D2E2F2G2 (phz2), each of which is independently capable of encoding all enzymes for biosynthesizing phenazines, including phenazine-1-carboxylic acid and its derivatives. Other previous study reported that the RpoS-deficient mutant SS24 overproduced pyocyanin, a derivative of phenazine-1- carboxylic acid. However, it is not known how RpoS mediates the expression of two phz operons and regulates pyocyanin biosynthesis in detail. In this study, with deletion of the rpoS gene in the PAΔphz1 mutant and the PAΔphz2 mutant respectively, we demonstrated that RpoS exerted opposite regulatory roles on the expression of the phz1and phz2 operons. We also confirmed that the phz1 operon played a critical role and especially biosynthesized much more phenazines than the phz2 operon when the rpoS gene was knocked out in P. aeruginosa. By constructing the translational reporter fusion vector lasR’-’lacZ and the chromosomal fusion mutant PAΔlasR::lacZ, we verified that RpoS deficiency caused increased expression of lasR, a transcription regulator gene in a first quorum sensing system (las) that activates overexpression of the phz1 operon, suggesting that in the absence of RpoS, LasR might act as an intermediate in overproduction of phenazine biosynthesis mediated by the phz1 operon in P. aeruginosa.

Functional analysis of prv-miR-LLT11a encoded by pseudorabies virus

        Huimin Liu,Li Yang,Zhibin Shi,Ruiqi Lv,Xia Yang,Chuanqing Wang,Lu Chen,Hongtao Chang 대한수의학회 2019 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.20 No.6

Viral-encoded microRNAs (miRNAs) play have vital roles in the regulations of virus replications and host immune responses. The results of previous studies have indicated that miRNA clusters are involved in the replication and virulence of the pseudorabies virus (PRV), which may potentially lead to the immune escape or facilitation of PRV replications. This study's previous research revealed that the prv-mirmiR-LLT11a was differentially expressed during PRV infections. The present study's results have demonstrated that the prv-miR-LLT11a could significantly inhibit PRV replications. It was further determined that SLA-1 was the target gene of the prv-miR-LLT11a, and simultaneously, thate overexpression of prv-miR-LLT11a could down-regulate the mRNA and protein levels of SLA-1 in a dose-independent manner. Furthermore, the present study also found observed that the prv-miR-LLT11a canhad also down-regulated the TAP1 expressions. Our findings provide a better understanding of the molecular mechanism involved in on the effects of prv-miR-LLT11a on SLA-1 and TAP1, as well as and its involvement in a potential immune system evasion of PRV.

Effect of Co Content on the Microstructure and Corrosion Behavior of Al0.3CoxCrFeNi High Entropy Alloys

        Zequn Zhang,Qijuan Dong,Zhibin Chen,Junsheng Wu,Jiuyang Xia,Kang Huang,Pengcheng Zuo,Wei Xue,Bowei Zhang 대한금속·재료학회 2024 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.30 No.2

The influence of Co content on the microstructure and corrosion behavior of Al0.3CoxCrFeNi (x = 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0) highentropy alloys were investigated. The results indicated that the increased content of Co improve the corrosion resistanceof alloy, which can be attributed to the distinction of phase composition in alloys caused by different Co content. TheAl0.3CoxCrFeNi alloy shows a double-phase (FCC + BCC) structure for x = 0.25 and 0.5, and BCC phase consists of (Al,Ni)-rich B2 phase and (Cr, Fe, Co)-rich A2 phase. The increase of Co content induces the transformations of crystalstructuresfrom BCC to FCC, resulting in the decrease of BCC phase proportion. The Al0.3CoCrFeNi alloy exhibits thesingle FCC structure, and all elements tend to be homogeneously distributed. The difference in the potential of FCC andBCC phases indicates the BCC phase acts as anode resulting to localized corrosion, while B2 phase preferentially dissolvescompared to the A2 phase due to the lower potential. Therefore, the existence of selective corrosion is found in thealloys with double-phase, by contrast, the alloy with single FCC phase shows random pitting corrosion.
