수용성 고분자 용액 처리 시 온도 및 첨가제가 토양 건조에 미치는 영향

Dust particles have been generated from the soil exposed to the atmosphere via desiccation process. There are several ways to reduce dust generation from the exposed ground. Among various means, polymer solution has been received a great attention due to easy application and effectiveness of its results. In this study, the soil obtained from the ground in Seoul Women’s University was mixed with 3 different polymer solutions; polyacrylamide, polyacrylic acid and polyacrylamide copolymer with polyacrylic acid. In addition, sodium lauryl sulfate, a surfactant which helps the aqueous polymer molecules penetrate into the soil particles and adsorb to their surfaces and 1,6-diisocyanatohexane, which is an additive to solidify the soil particles for the strength enhancement were mixed to investigate their effects on soil desiccation. The desiccation durations were 44 days at room temperature and 12 days at 50oC, respectively. The half-lives and desiccation rate constant have been determined from the 1st order reaction. As a result of desiccation at room temperature, soil mixed with 1% polyacrylamide, surfactant and an additive showed 8.27 days while 3.33 days with water as a control. It was found that the surfactant enhanced the sorption of polymer molecules in aqueous phase to reduce the water evaporation from the surface.
Electrochemically polyaniline-coated microextraction needle for phthalates in water

A stainless-steel needle (Hamilton 90022, 22 gauge, 718-㎛ o.d., 413-㎛ i.d., 51-mm length, bevel tip) with an electrochemically coated polyaniline layer having a microbore tunnel was newly prepared as a device for headspace in-needle microextraction. For designing the needle, the polyaniline layer length was optimized, and to evaluate the extraction efficiency for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, numerous cyclic voltammetry scans were conducted. In addition, the optimization of the analytical conditions (including the adsorption and desorption parameters) and the validation of the analytical method were conducted. The optimized adsorption and desorption conditions were 40 ℃ for 30 min and 230 ℃ for 60 s, respectively. Finally, in this study, a polyaniline layer was electrochemically deposited on the in-needle surface, and it exhibited good thermal stability. The needle with the polyaniline layer was repeatedly used more than 200 times during this study. This method has some advantages in terms of the extraction time, extraction efficiency, and analysis cost.

Dovitinib (TKI258) is a small molecule multi-kinase inhibitor currently in clinical phase I/II/III development for the treatment of various types of cancers. This drug has a safe and effective pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic profile. Although dovitinib can bind several kinases at nanomolar concentrations, there are no reports relating to osteoporosis or osteoblast differentiation. Herein, we investigated the effect of dovitinib on human recombinant bone morphogenetic protein (BMP)-2-induced osteoblast differentiation in a cell culture model. Dovitinib enhanced the BMP-2-induced alkaline phosphatase (ALP) induction, which is a representative marker of osteoblast differentiation. Dovitinib also stimulated the translocation of phosphorylated Smad1/5/8 into the nucleus and phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinases, including ERK1/2 and p38. In addition, the mRNA expression of BMP-4, BMP-7, ALP, and OCN increased with dovitinib treatment. Our results suggest that dovitinib has a potent stimulating effect on BMP-2-induced osteoblast differentiation and this existing drug has potential for repositioning in the treatment of bone-related disorders.
3차원적인 운동프로그램과 Klapp`s 운동프로그램이 척추측만에 미치는 영향

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 3 dimensional exercises and Klapp’s exercise on parameters of scoliosis in subjects with non-structure scoliosis. METHOD: This study was performed on 24 subjects. Twenty-four subjects were divided into two groups; 3 dimensional exercise(n=12), Klapp’s exercise(n=12). Both of the group performed the exercise 3 times a week for 5 weeks. The data was analyzed by the Paired t-test for comparing before and after changes of factors in each group and the Independent t-test for comparing the between groups. RESULT: The result are as follows. There was statistically significant difference of before and after arthopometric parameters, trunk flexion, Cobb``s angle in 3 dimensional exercise(p<0.05). There was statistically significant difference of before and after acromion high, trunk extension, Cobb``s angle in Klapp’s exercise(p<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference of between the two group in arthropometric parameters, ROM, Cobb``s angle(p>0.05). CONCLUSION: As a result of this study, we found that the 3 dimensional exercise may be effective more than Klapp’s exercise.
