        외부장비에 의한 손상배관의 손상유형 및 잔류강도

        The dominant incidents category for onshore and offshore natural gas transmission pipelines in the world is associated with outside forces. Incidents in the outside forces category embrace acts of nature, which typically cause widespread structural damage, as well as act of man, whose effects tend to cause dents and/or gouges localized at point of contact that are referred to as mechanical damage. Therefore, these damage types must be better addressed to avoid unnecessary and costly repairs and the possibility of catastrophic events. First of all, the characterizing features of mechanical damage in gas pipelines were evaluated by using of excavator or boring machine. There is no reliable method for evaluating the safe operating pressure of pipeline affected by mechanical damage. It is especially important to evaluate the remaining strength of damaged pipelines due to outside force. Therefore, the full scale burst tests were conducted to evaluate the remaining strength of pipe with mechanical damage that combines a dent and a gouge. This paper is supposed to provide information that will assist in developing a criterion to assess serviceability in pipelines with mechanical damage.

        인버터방식의 고전압 발생장치를 이용한 의료용 X선 기기의 특성평가

        Medical X-ray has been brought many changes according to the rapid development of high technology. Especially, for high-voltage generator which is the most important in X-ray generation the traditional way is to use high-voltage electric transformers primarily. However, since it is large and heavy and the ripple rate of DC high-voltage applied to X-ray tube is too big, it has a disadvantage of low X-ray production efficiency. To solve these problems, the studies about high-voltage power supply are now proceeding. At present, the high-voltage generator that generates high-voltage by making high frequency using inverter control circuit consisting of semiconductor device is mainly used. High-voltage generator using inverter has advantages in the diagnosis using X-ray including high performance with short-term use, miniaturization of power supply and ripple reduction. In this study, the X-ray high-voltage device with inverter type using pulse width modulation scheme to the control of tube voltage and tube current was designed and produced. For performance evaluation of produced device, the control signal analysis, irradiation dose change and beam quality depending on the load variation of tube voltage and tube current were evaluated.

        X-ray system which is usefully used in diagnosis of the patient, being bombed of radioactivity is a big weak point when irradiates a X-ray to the human body so that ICRP restricted the radiation exposure tolerance of the human body. In order to reduce being bombed, the many research and development is now advanced. A lots of diagnostic X-ray machines have currently used due to the increase of occurrence efficiency of X-ray and precisely the output control by using the inverter which is a high speed switching semiconductors. For getting the confidence of the X-ray machine, the same radiation occurrence, same evaluation, and same irradiation condition are necessary when evaluates X-ray irradiation. It is the most important part for the accuracy of the test result and the patient safety. This research has produced the high voltage occurrence system of full-wave rectification method by using the LC resonance inverter, and evaluated the irradiation reproducibility in order to use it in diagnosis of the patient.

        트레드밀 운동이 흰쥐 해마의 치상회에서 신경세포 생성에 미치는 영향

        The effect of treadmill exercise on cell proliferation in the dentate gyros of the hippocampus was investigated via BrdU-specific immunohistochemistry. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into the three groups: the control group (n = 8), the low-intensity exercise group (n = 8), the moderate-intensity exercise group (n = 8). Animals of the exercise groups were put on running 5 days per week for 4 weeks. The regimen of the low-intensity exercise consisted with running at speed of 3 m/min for the first 5 min, 5 m/min for the next 5 min, then 8 m/min for the last 20 min, while the regimen for the moderate-intensity exercise was made with running at speed of 16 m/min for the first 5 min, 19 in/min for the next 5 min, then 22 m/min for the last 20 min. Single dose of 50 mg/kg 5-bromo-2`-deoxyuridine (BrdU) per day was injected intraperitoneally 1 hr before start of treadmill running during the commencement of the experiment. In the present results, weight gain of the rats in the moderate-intensity exercise group was significantly decreased compared to the control group and mild-intensity exercise group. The new cell formation was increased by the treadmill exercise. In the mild-intensity exercise group, BrdU-positive cells in the hippocampal dentate gyros was higher compared to the control group. In the moderate-exercise group, number of the BrdU-positive cells was increased compared to the control group and mild-intensity exercise group. In the present study, it can be suggested that treadmill exercise may facilitate recovery and regeneration from diseases of brain such as Alzheimer`s disease, Parkinson`s disease and injury such as that resulting from stroke by increase of new cell formation.

        전방십자인대 재건술 후 재활 운동프로그램이 근기능에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to identify effects of an aquatic therapy swimming program and isokinetic training on patients with anterior cruciate ligament injuries. All of the participants registered for the program in the rehabilitation center, obtained physicians`s permissions to participated, and completed required registration forms. 18 participants were randomly assigned into three different treatment groups : an aquatic swimming program(N=6), a isokinetic training program(N=6), and a physical therapy group(N=6). All of the participants completed the exercises during one hour a day, three days a week for 12 weeks. The following results were found in this study : 1. In the peak torque % body weight of flexor and extensor at 60˚/sec, no significant difference was found among the three groups. There were progressively increases among the three groups on the involved side at 60˚/sec over training time, however, there was not found significant difference among the three groups on the uninvolved side at 60?sec over training time. The isokinetic training group showed a quick recovery from the muscle functions, followed by a aquatic swimming group, and a physical therapy group. 2. In the peak torque % body weight of flexor and extensor at 180˚/sec, no significant difference was found among the three groups. There were progressively increases among the three groups on the involved side at 180˚/sec over training time, however, there was not found significant difference among the three groups on the uninvolved side at 180˚/sec over training time. The isokinetic training group showed a quick recovery from the muscle functions, followed by a aquatic swimming group, and a physical therapy group. In summary, the study showed differences in the muscular functions of both involved and uninvolved sides among three groups by the treatment period. Although isokinetic training group showed a quick recovery from the muscular functions, followed by aquatic swimming group, and physical therapy group. These findings suggest that both aquatic swimming program and isokinetic training program are more effective interventions to the patients with anterior cruciate ligament injuries than physical therapy program.

        육상의 단거리와 중장거리 트레이닝 형태가 골밀도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of training method on bone mineral density in elite sprinter and middle long distance runner. The subjects for this study were thirty-five male university students who participated in this experiment voluntarily. The subjects were divided into three groups: well-trained sprinter group(n=11), middle long distance runner group(n=10), and control group(n=14). Statistical techniques for data analysis were one-way ANOVA and ANCOVA, and 0.05 level of significance was utilized. The following results were obtained from this study. First, total bone mineral density and arms BMD were not significant difference among sprinter group, middle long distance runner group, and control group. Second, total mineral content, trunk, lumbar, legs bone mineral density were significantly higher in sprinter group than middle long distance runner group, and control group.

      • 극한지 장거리 자원이송망 최적 배관 사양 검토

        극한지 환경의 장거리 천연가스 고압 수송배관 설계 시 고려해야 할 중요한 요소 중의 하나로 배관 파괴제어 방안 수립이다. 가스배관의 연성파괴전파 저지 예측에 사용되는 방법은 간편 수치해, Battelle two curve 방법, 실제크기 배관 파열시험이 있다. 본 논문에서는 러시아 극한지 가스배관에 적용된 배관재료 요구조건을 알아보고, 배관재료 파괴인성 요구 값 설정 방안에 대하여 세 가지 방안을 대상으로 배관설계 적용 사례와 함께 비교 분석하여, 배관설계 시 적용할 최적방안을 파악하였다. 수정계수를 도입한 BTC 방법을 적용하는 것이 적절한 것으로 판단된다. One of the important factors to consider when designing long-distance natural gas high-pressure pipeline in arctic environments is the establishment of pipeline fracture control measures. The methods used for prediction of ductile fracture propagation of gas pipeline are simple numerical solution, Battelle two curve method, and full scale pipe burst test. In this paper, we investigate the requirements of pipe material applied to the arctic pipeline in Russia, and compare the pipeline design application cases with the three methods of setting the required value of pipeline material fracture toughness. It is considered appropriate to apply the BTC method incorporating the correction factor.
