We developed the 4-channel Light Medical Therapy Apparatus for Skin Injury Cure using a high brightness LED. This equipment was fabricated using a micro-controller and a high brightness LED, and designed to enable us to control light irradiation time, intensity and reservation. In this paper, the designed device was used to find out how high brightness LED light affects the skin injury of SD-Rat(Sprague-Dawley Rat). In the experiment, $1\;cm^2$ wounds on the skin injury of SD-Rat(Sprague-Dawley Rat) were made. Light irradiation group and none light irradiation group divided, each group was irradiated one hour a day for 14 days. In result, compared with none light irradiation group, the lower incidence of inflammation and faster recovery was shown in light irradiation group.

This paper performed the basic study for developing the Photodynamic Therapy Equipment for medical treatment. We developed the equipment palpating cell proliferation using a high brightness LED. This equipment was fabricated using a micro-controller and a high brightness LED, and designed to enable us to control light irradiation time, intensity, frequency and so on. Especially, to control the light irradiation frequency, FPGA was used, and to control the change of output value, TLC5941 was used. Control stage is divided into 30 levels by program. Consequently, the current value could be controlled by the change of level in Continue Wave(CW) and Pulse Width Modulation(PWM), and the output of a high brightness LED could be controlled stage by stage. And then, each experiment was performed to irradiation group and non-irradiation group for both Rat bone marrow and Rat tissue cells. MTT assay method was chosen to verify the cell increase of two groups and the effect of irradiation on cell proliferation was examined by measuring 590 nm transmittance of ELISA reader. As a result, the cell increase of Rat bone marrow and tissue cells was verified in irradiation group as compared to non-irradiation group. The fact that specific wavelength irradiation has an effect on cell vitality and proliferation is known through this study.

For mass information transfer, the optical communication using optic fiber has been widely used. Especially, in the field of medical image, the large data is digitalized based on the standard image and it is used for telemedicine with this method. Therefore, to transfer the large amount of data fast and effectively POF (Plastic Optical Fiber) can be used and the development of optic connector for connection between POFs is very important. In this study, for stable optical coupling of POF optic fiber Ferrule and Sleeve were designed and produced by considering the bond stability and the insertion loss according to the physical contact and roughness profile was evaluated. As a result of examining the insertion loss by physical contact method of two optic fibers, it showed the loss was about 1.895dB. According to the results from studying the condition of grinding section for POF mass production, the mass production condition was established as POF profile roughness of 6nm and the loss of 0.2dB or lower by controlling the film size and time step by step.

BSCCO thin films are fabricated by an ion beam sputtering method, and sticking coefficients of the respective elements are evaluated. The sticking coefficient of Bi element in BSCCO film formation was observed to show a unique temperature dependence; it was almost a constant value of 0.49 below about 730$^{\circ}C$ and decreased linearly over about 730$^{\circ}C$ In contrast, Sr and Ca, displayed no such remarkable temperature dependence. This behavior of the sticking coefficient was explained consistently on the basis of the evaporation and sublimation processes of Bi$\sub$2/O$\sub$3/. It was concluded that Bi(2212) thin film constructs from the partial melted Bi(2201) phase with the aid of the liquid phase of Bi$\sub$2/O$\sub$3/.

Light can be divided into ultraviolet rays, visible rays, and infrared rays depending on the wavelengths. Visible rays with specific wavelength are those predominantly used for would treatment. Especially low level laser irradiates into cells, effectively stimulating cellular tissues and activating cellular function. This study was intended to verify the effect of white LED irradiation therapy on wound recovery in animal tests by applying white LED irradiator, which was independently designed and developed to emit beams of similar wavelength to that of a laser. The designed LED Irradiator was used to find out how white LED light source affected the skin wound of SD-Rat(Sprague-Dawley Rat). We divided the participants into two groups; white LED irradiation group which was irradiated 1 hour a day for 9 consecutive days, and none irradiation group. The results showed that the study group had lower incidence of inflammation and faster recovery, compared with the control group.

In the product development process, the reliability of the product can be secured through durability tests. However, since the durability test method is expensive and time consuming, a method to save time and money by utilizing virtual product development (VPD) is required. However, research on the accuracy of the results of virtual product development is required. In this paper, an accelerated durability test was designed and conducted using a planetary gear decelerator. And an analysis model under the same conditions was created and simulated. To correlate the results of the experiment with the results of the analytical model, created a model that can discriminate the wear region using one of the data mining methods, the k-means algorithm method and HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value). The wear area is compared by counting the number of pixels defined as wear through a discrimination model. A similar ratio was calculated by comparing the pixel ratio of the area determined as wear in the entire area. It showed a similar ratio of about 70%, and it is necessary to improve the discrimination method.

Low level laser therapy has various therapy effects, This paper performed the basic study for fabricating the low level laser therapy apparatus, and one of the goals of this paper was to make this apparatus used handily. The apparatus has been fabricated using the laser diode and microprocessor unit. The apparatus used a 660nm, 785nm and 850nm laser diode for laser medical therapy and was designed for a pulse width modulation type to increase stimulation effects. To raise the stimulus effect of the human body, the optical irradiation frequency could be set up. In result, the $1{\sim}10\;Hz$ irradiation frequency could be controlled stably.
