      • 中原圈 寺刹風景에 관한 考察

        Four temples were picked from the central northern area in Chung-Won Zone. And the considered result of the temple scape factors can be conclusion as follows: 1. Most of relics worthy of the buddhist culture and tradition were burnt away and lost out,. There were much difficulties in collection and comparision of bibliographical materials. So urgent is the task of recovering and restoring the relics into their original forms and conditions. 2. When Chung-Won Zone in taken in a view of the military strategic position throughout the ancient triple dynasties rather than a center of cultural creation in the context of historical research, we cannot say that Chung-Won Zone was affected uniquely by a particular one nation among the three dynasties. 3. Virgin forest is completly damaged in general throughout current forest aspect of the each temple and yet forests are reviving and on the way of transition to the original. 4. It is assumed that the plants from the primitive around the temple in common were hard wood forest of mixed forest. To quickly bring up the progress of stable forest growth and development for the purpose of ecological advantage, useful hard wood forest should be well tended in a positive approach as the hard wood forest is potentially surfacing out. 5. Country species which is afforested to be proper to form the temple scape should be planted at many small sized spots so barren lands around. It is recommendable that Quercus aliena BL. stands espceally at the Kakyoon Temple be taken care of concentrating it should be leaded to the balanced selection forest type. 6. Caution should be directed to prevent damage of Theodiplosis Japonensis U. et I. from pinus densiflora S. et Z. stands at Kooin Temple and Konglim Temple and also from pinus densiflora for. multicaulis U. at Kayoon Temple. 7. Forest outside the boundary of the temple should be established as a special protective zone and worning boards should be displayed to the public so that people recognize the forest scapes are the most precious resources and dense forest should be developed to be a model forest in Korea. 8. We should be able to find a place of sight pleasue, rest and recreation through further successful development of natural scape elements surrounding the temples. It is ideal that man can expect to enjoy our mental recuperation in the nature from of the forest.

      • Benzo(a)pyrene에 의해 유도된 간기능장해에 미치는 자근 추출액의 영향

        민간에서 주로 사용되는 약용식물들 중 간독성 의 발현 저해 및 간기능 보호 효과가 우수한약물을 찾아 임상적인 약효를 밝혀보고자 하는 실험과정으로 탄소화합물의 불완전 연소및 열분해에 의해 생성되는 간장해 물질인 benzo(a)pyrene으로 유도한 rats의 간독성발현에 미치는 자근 수침액의 예방 및 치료 효과를 실험한 결과 자근 수침액의 투여는B(a)P 투여로 현저하게 증가된 혈청 및 간장의 AST, ALT, LDH, ALP 활성을 유의성있게 감소시켰고 B(a)P 투여로 증가한 혈청 total cholestelof 및 phospholipid 함량 역시감소시킬 수 있었으나 그 효과는 현저하지 않았다. 즉, 자근 수침액의 투여는 B(a)P에의한 간독성 발현을 유의성 있게 감소시켰으며 그 효과는 전처리가 후처리에 비해 우수하였다. The present study was undertaken to compare the phamacologicalactivities of crude Lithospermi Radix reported with the clinical uses in the orientalmedicine. Crude Lithospermi Radix uesd for the treatment of burn, eczema,blister, diuretic, scarlet fever and septicemia as antipyretic, antidotic and antiph-logistics. Therefore we tested the effects of Lithospermi Radix water extracton the liver-protective activities in the rats. The results obtained from enzymeassay, measurement of serum and liver alanine aspartate aminotransferase(ALT,AST) and lipid composition indicated that Lithospermi Radix water extract sho-wed significant liver-protective activities against benzo(a)pyrene-induced hepato-toxicity.

      • 시루봉地域一帶의 森林植生에 關한 硏究 : 天然林 및 人工林의 林分構造를 中心으로 Focused on Forest Stand Structure of Natural Artifical Forests

        To investigate the structure of the forest vegetation of Mt. Sirubong area in Chungbuk district, fifteen plots of natural forest and five plots of artificial forest were set up. As the result of classification and ordination analysis the study area was divided into six groups, which were Quercus mongolica community, Q. serrata community, Pinus densiflora community, Larix leptolepis community, P, rigida community and P. koraiensis community. Species diversity indices range of each of the communities was 0.8686∼1.2403, Quercus mongolica community showed the highest value and P. rigida community showed the lowest value among the communities. The similarity indices range were 17.14∼81.29%, between Quercus serrata community and Pinus densiflora community showed the highest value while on the other between Quercus serrata community and Larix leptolepis community showed the lowest value among the communities. The comparision of site index between Mt. Sirubong area with nationwide, Pinus koraiensis was the highest site index and P. rigida was above the average and Larix leptolepis was the average. Pinus densiflora showed below the average compared with nationwide was caused by the decline species of successional trends in the middle temperated forest zone. According to analysis of annual ring growth of major tree species by tree ring chronology, growth­decrease was occured in common in the year of 1974∼75, 1983∼85, 1987∼88, 1991 and 1995, this was highly concerned with the amount of precipitation during the period of from march to November.

        전자근관장측정기 Root ZX의 정확도에 관한 실험적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the in vitro accuracy of Root ZX(Torita Co., Japan) which is the ratio type electronic apex locator. The 86 extracted human palatal roots of maxillary molar with fully formed apices were used. File lengths with the file tip just visible at the foramen were compared to those measured with Root ZX. For length measuring with Root ZX, saline test model with which the apical 1/3 of each root was submerged into normal saline were designed. The root canal lengths were determined with Root ZX and the radiographs were taken with a file in the canal. The distances from file tips of Root ZX lengths to apecies in radiographs also were measured with Profile projector PJ311(Mitutoyo Co., Japan). The results were as follows : 1. The root canal length determined with electronic apex locator was 0.78±0.53 mm shorter than the length with visual measurement. 2. The file tip of Root ZX lengths was located at 0.85±0.49 mm away from the apex in radiograph. 3. The accuracy of the Root ZX was 79.1% within 0.5mm of visual working length and 96.5% within 1.0mm.

      • 山林環境에 대한 住民意識 考察

        Summarized is on result of studies on the forest-adjacent people's consciousness of forest environment as a part of presurving the forest environment along with increase of the forest resources based on findings by questionaire survey conducted on December of 1993 to March of 1994. Attitude by the forest-populace of their consciousness of forests in diverse according to factors of forest environment of surveyed area. Especially it is observed that major changes on their consciousness of forest were dominated by ratio of forest area of forest, density of forest and density of populace. In answer to a question of value of the forest, the respondents recognized the forest as a place for hiking and strolling, recreation or resort place and for field animals. Their consciousness retreated from the farming society when the thought that the forests were sources of harvisting crops. A changed status from agricultural society to industrial society was noted. Consciousness of the forest that turned out as most scarce in inter-relation with factors of forest environment was an item of harvest of forest products and national security. It is partly due to the fact that greenification project of mountains in Korea was completed relatively in a short period and partly due to consequence of increased national per capital income. Tendency of consciousness of the forest is some different from that Japanese people. The questionaires were responded by 70∼80% of surveyes. Person of age braeket of 30∼40 expressed their high interest. This indicates a green signal of good forest development of the future. According to classification of jobs of the respondents, workers in the forest field is higher in their respondence rate than non-farming people. Rate of population working in agriculture and forest field in area of Chungju city and Euijungbu city is 8.4 and 2% respectively. Rate of workers in field of agriculture and forest is decreasing drastically year by year in all the other areas. It is far more serious that workers of the forests are decreasing more and more than in agriculture. The owners of the mountains residing near to their mountains are scarce indeed and their forest are almost abandoned. If the forest resources and forest environment be preserved. lucrative products of the forest should be developed and mechanical equipment be provided and forest lanes should be developed under the national financial aid. There is urgent need of giving privilege of tax and insentive support or reward to exemplary exclusive workers of forest and forest specialists. The national people should be enlightened that the forests are valuable for and useful to humans life in any way of tangible or intangible forms.

      • 보리자나무의 삽목번식에 관한 연구

        Maqueliana Linden is a high tree, which is classified as broad-leaved tree belonging to Tiliaceae category. It was brought into Korea together with Buddhism from China. It is a rare species. Embryo of miqueliana linden is unripe and seed coat is much hard, and germination is not easy. So study of a sexual propagation is required to secure and maintain varied species of the tree. The middle of June is considered to be a proper time for green-wood cuttings collection. Sign of its effectiveness appeared, according to the result of the treatment of growth regulators for the purpose of improving the rooting percentage by green-wood cuttings. It was insignificant in a statistical point between growth regulators of the two species. Concentration of treating the growth regulations was adequate at the level of 500PPm. The T/R ratio of rooted cuttings when plant regulators were applied to green-wood cuttings showed a high negative correlation (r=-10.7857), (r= -0.9897) with root collar diameter to primary roots.

      • 건국대학교 충주 캠퍼스 녹지공간조성에 관한 고찰

        The study was conducted to seek out the most ideal measures of improving the environmental conditions of green space in Chung-ju campus of Kon-Kuk University. The result of the study is summarized as follows: Warmth index in the campus in 93.8 and coldness index is -26.9. The lowest temperature of the winter season tends to gradually go up and a certain change of eccolosystem of botany is cinsidered likely to happen. Soil is generally lacked much of organic matters and total nutrient. Drainage system was found unsatisfactory. Alkali soil is stretched out and it was found that the soil was not adequate to grow of plants and trees. Kinds of trees planted in the campus consisted of 37 family, 60 genus, 96 species and 94 forma. It is desireable to plant various kinds of trees and generic trees highly worthy of educational values and well consistent with the weather and soil condition. A complex plan should be developed, which should include architecture of artificial facilities, road net work facilities, general soil surface treatment, planning and design of green open space and others. Trees of feeble and poor growth should be substisuted with gealthier kinds of trees. It is necessary to improve of planting and cultivation and perfect protection and management. Consensus of opinions and professionalism from many personages interested in the green open space project is essential to build up and develop the most rational green open space. This should be supported under well-organized system.

      • R.C.造에서 超音波速度에 미치는 鐵1筋의 影響 : 길이방향鐵筋을 중심으로 On the longitudinal Steel bar

        Ultrasonic testing of a reinforced concrete member by means of the ultrasonic testing apparatus is affected by the steel bar embedded in concrete. A test location avoid the zone of steel effect when selecting test location in reinforced concrete member. But if it is impossible, it is necessary to make a correction to the measured value to provide an estimate of the velocity of the pulse in the plain concrete. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of steel bar on ultrasonic pulse velocity and the evaluate optimum correction formular by means of comparison between pulse velocity in concrete and effective pulse velocity according to steel bar diameters. Concrete mixes having water cement ratio of 0.4 and 0.6 by weight and slump values of 18㎝ in fresh concrete were used to make 20×30×60㎝ cubes for pulse velocity in concrete and effective pulse velocity. The diameters of the plain bars were 6, 9, 12, 19, 25, 32, 38 and 50㎜.
