        This paper is a fundamental study on the influence on the properties of high peformance concrete by mineral admixture. According to the results, while the fluidity decreases with the increase of replacement ratio of silica fume, it increases with the increase of replacement ratio of the other mineral admixture. Air content shows decreasing tendency with the increase of replacement ratio of fly ash, and the compressive strength of FA-SF2 shows the highest score. And the drying shrinkage increases with the increase of replacement ratio of fly ash, but it does not show much difference with the increase of replacement ratio of blast furnace slag powder. The autogenous shrinkage increases with the increase of replacement ratio of blast furnace slag powder, silica fume, while it decrease with the increase of replacement ratio of fly ash or combination of fly ash and silica fume. Therefore, it is thought that the fluidity, the placeability and the strength will be improved and the crack caused by autogenous shrinkage will be reduced by use of fly ash and silica fume together when making the high performance concrete.

        This study is to investigate the influence of W/C and fineness modulus of aggregate on the bleeding of concrete. According to the result, the lower W/C is, the less bleeding occurs. As for the properties of bleeding with the variation of fineness modulus, the amount of bleeding is small with the continuous grading in the middle of the standard grading range in the case of coarse aggregate, and it grows smaller with a decrease of fineness modulus in the case of fine aggregate. Therefore, it proves that using coarse aggregate with the continuous grading in the middle of the standard grading range and fine aggregate with smaller fineness modulus in the standard grading range is the effective method for reducing bleeding at the same W/C.

        Effect of B-complex vitamins on the antifatigue activity and bioavailability of ginsenoside Re after oral administration

        Background: Both ginsenoside Re and B-complex vitamins are widely used as nutritional supplements. They are often taken together so as to fully utilize their antifatigue and refreshing effects, respectively. Whether actually a drugenutrient interaction exists between ginsenoside Re and B-complex vitamins is still unknown. The objective of this study was to simultaneously investigate the effect of B-complex vitamins on the antifatigue activity and bioavailability of ginsenoside Re after their oral administration. The study results will provide valuable theoretical guidance for the combined utilization of ginseng and B-complex vitamins. Methods: Ginsenoside Re with or without B-complex vitamins was orally administered to mice to evaluate its antifatigue effects and to rats to evaluate its bioavailability. The antifatigue activity was evaluated by the weight-loaded swimming test and biochemical parameters, including hepatic glycogen, plasma urea nitrogen, and blood lactic acid. The concentration of ginsenoside Re in plasma was determined by liquid chromatographyetandem mass spectrometry. Results: No antifatigue effect of ginsenoside Re was noted when ginsenoside Re in combination with Bcomplex vitamins was orally administered to mice. B-complex vitamins caused to a reduction in the bioavailability of ginsenoside Re with the area under the concentrationetime curve from zero to infinity markedly decreasing from 11,830.85 2,366.47 h$ng/mL to 890.55 372.94 h$ng/mL. Conclusion: The results suggested that there were pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic drugenutrient interactions between ginsenoside Re and B-complex vitamins. B-complex vitamins can significantly weaken the antifatigue effect and decrease the bioavailability of ginsenoside Re when simultaneously administered orally.

      • Tumor-Derived Transforming Growth Factor-β is Critical for Tumor Progression and Evasion from Immune Surveillance

        Tumors have evolved numerous mechanisms by which they can escape from immune surveillance. One of these is to produce immunosuppressive cytokines. Transforming growth factor-${\beta}$(TGF-${\beta}$) is a pleiotropic cytokine with a crucial function in mediating immune suppression, especially in the tumor microenvironment. TGF-${\beta}$ produced by T cells has been demonstrated as an important factor for suppressing antitumor immune responses, but the role of tumor-derived TGF-${\beta}$ in this process is poorly understood. In this study, we demonstrated that knockdown of tumor-derived TGF-${\beta}$ using shRNA resulted in dramatically reduced tumor size, slowing tumor formation, prolonging survival rate of tumor-bearing mice and inhibiting metastasis. We revealed possible underlying mechanisms as reducing the number of myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC) and $CD4^+Foxp3^+$ Treg cells, and consequently enhanced IFN-${\gamma}$ production by CTLs. Knockdown of tumor-derived TGF-${\beta}$ also significantly reduced the conversion of na$\ddot{i}$ve $CD4^+$ T cells into Treg cells in vitro. Finally, we found that knockdown of TGF-${\beta}$ suppressed cell migration, but did not change the proliferation and apoptosis of tumor cells in vitro. In summary, our study provided evidence that tumor-derived TGF-${\beta}$ is a critical factor for tumor progression and evasion of immune surveillance, and blocking tumor-derived TGF-${\beta}$ may serve as a potential therapeutic approach for cancer.

        공공도서관 공간구성 변화에 의한 개방도 분석 연구 -중국 내 대형 공공도서관 자료열람실을 중심으로-

        (Background and Purpose) Now the public library appears open, multi center and compound in the space system, and has realized the transformation for the space layout from book collection centered to service-centered. In addition, in the past, designing the reading room's space layout centered on the managers, while it is user-centered now, and the location of the reading room is increasingly gaining significance. This study makes a comparative analysis of the changing trends of the spatial composition of the data reading room of China's large public libraries according to the times, predicts changes, and provides insights for future library space development. Therefore, it is of great significance to quantitatively analyze the spatial structure through Space Syntax, objective analysis on spatial change elements and understand the relationship between each unit. (Method) According to different construction periods, this paper analyzes the changing trends of reading room spaces in large public libraries with an internal area of more than 20,000 square meters at the level of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under China,. Accordingly, this study investigates the concept and method of space syntax and the reading room space of public library to advance specific analysis methods. In addition, in order to improve the objectivity of the research, this paper quantitatively analyzes and compares the space of case library by using the convex space analysis program of space syntax. (Results) Firstly, before the 2000s, at the public library reading room, the opening degree of local reference room opening was higher than the electronic reading and multimedia reading rooms. Second, in the 2000s, the local reference, electronic reading, and multimedia reading rooms were all fully open. However, the continuous publication room, the reading room for the disabled, and the children's reading room showed a weak opening degree. Third, after the 2010s, the continuous publication room showed strong openness, but the openness of the reading room for the disabled remained limited. Fourth, from the overall development situation, the overall opening degree of reading rooms of large public libraries in China is gradually increasing. (Conclusions) As mentioned above, this study takes the reading room's space of China's large public libraries as the research object. According to the changes of the reading room's space of public libraries, it shows that the reading rooms’ openness of public libraries was relatively balanced before 2000, and in the 2000s, it became consistently higher. However, after 2010, the reference reading room of public library has evolved into an open reading space led by the continuous publishing room and an obstacle reading room with a gradual decline in openness. Therefore, it can be concluded that the overall openness of the reading room's space has been gradually expanding.

      • 유사도 기반 병해충 검색 모델에 대한 검증 연구

        농작물 병해충은 심각한 농업재해 중 하나로 농작물의 생산량과 품질에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 이는 병해충의 예방과 방제를 통해 농장에 대한 손해와 경제적 손실을 최소화할 수 있다. 병해충의 예방과 방제를 위해 최근 딥러닝 기반 병해충 인식 연구들이 많이 진행되고 있다. 그 중 대부분 연구에서는 분류(Classification) 기법을 주로 사용하고 있다. 분류 기법에서는 가장 확률이 높은 값을 가지는 하나의 클래스를 출력한다. 하지만 분류 모델의 성능이 100%가 아니기 때문에 충분히 잘못된 결과를 출력할 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 Yin et al. [1]에서 여러 장의 병해충 이미지를 출력하는 유사도 기반 병해충 이미지 검색 모델을 제안했다. 본 연구에서는 Yin et al. [1]에서 제안한 병해충 이미지 검색 모델을 사과, 배추, 감귤 등 10종 작물, 50종 병해충 데이터 셋에 적용해 모델의 성능을 검증했다. 실험 측정 결과 병해충 이미지 검색 모델은 약 83.20%~99.71%의 유사 정확도를 보였다.

        Effects of leadership practices on professional learning communities: the mediating role of trust in colleagues

        The building of professional learning communities has been widely recognized as an effective strategy for schools wanting to improve student performance and enhance teachers’ professional capacity. This study explored the relationship between leadership practices and professional learning communities, with a particular focus on the mediating role of trust in colleagues within the context of mainland China. A total of 215 primary school teachers in a province of southwestern China participated in the study. The results showed that leadership practices and trust in colleagues had positive effects on five factors of professional learning communities, namely a shared sense of purpose, collaborative activity, collective focus on student learning, deprivatized practice, and reflective dialog. Trust in colleagues also mediated the influence of leadership practices on professional learning communities. The implications for facilitating professional learning communities in mainland China are discussed here.
