      • An Improved Framework for Requirement Implementation in the context of Global Software Development : A Systematic Literature Review Protocol

        Context: Global Software Development (GSD) is the software development across the globe in which stakeholders are related to different countries and cultures, and they communicate each other by emails, fax, mobile, videoconferencing or any other communicating media. There are a lot of problems in implementing requirement engineering process for global software development. There is a need of requirement implementation model which guides us how to implement successfully requirement engineering in the context of GSD. Objective: To Find Critical Success factors (CSF) and challenges in requirement implementation in the context of GSD through Systematic literature Review (SLR), and to find the practices for the proper implementation CSF and challenges as proposed by Requirement Implementation Model (RIM). Method: - SLR is the methodology used to fulfill the objectives of this research. Expected Outcomes: - SLR protocol is developed for RIM. Expected output of this study is to list out all the factors and challenge which the stakeholders are facing in implementing requirement in the context of GSD through SLR.

        Application of Glycerin and Polymer Coated Diammonium Phosphate in Alkaline Calcareous Soil for Improving Wheat Growth, Grain Yield and Phosphorus Use Efficiency

        Low-use efficiency of phosphatic fertilizers in calcareous soils is a serious issue worldwide resulting in sub-optimal phosphorus (P) availability to plants. Polymer-coated fertilizers provide an effective solution to enhance P-use efficiency in such soils by reducing fixation and ensuring slow and consistent phosphate supply to growing plants. The present field experiment was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of commercial diammonium phosphate (DAP) fertilizer and coated DAP with polymer and/or glycerin to improve plant growth, grain yield, and P-use efficiency of wheat crops. The results revealed that application of 100% recommended rate of glycerin + polymer coated DAP significantly enhanced plant height, number of fertile tillers m-2, 1000-grain weight, grain yield, and P uptake in comparison with commercial DAP fertilizer. Moreover, polymer coated DAP produced comparatively better results than glycerin coated DAP alone. The sustainable yield index, P agronomic and recovery efficiencies were also improved and recorded higher with glycerin + polymer-coated DAP fertilizer at 100% of the recommended rate. Furthermore, higher P uptake, P recovery, and agronomic efficiencies in response to coated DAP were found responsible for sustainable wheat yield. Overall, the glycerin + polymer-coated DAP with 75% recommended rate showed statistically identical results to uncoated DAP with 100% recommended rate. The amount of applied P vulnerable to fixation was significantly reduced with the application of glycerin + polymer-coated DAP thereby resulting in improved plant growth, grain yield, and P-use efficiency of wheat crops.

        Novel MoP/HY catalyst for the selective conversion of naphthalene to tetralin

        MoP catalyst supported on HZSM-5, HBeta and HY were prepared by wet impregnation and temperature programmed reduction (H2-TPR), applied for the conversion of naphthalene to tetralin, and characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, BET, H2-TPR, and NH3-TPD. Catalytic tests revealed the highest selectivity to tetralin was observed over MoP/HY with a naphthalene conversion of 85% and a tetralin selectivity of 99%. The effect of temperature and liquid hourly space velocity (LHSV) was also studied. Well dispersed and small particles of MoP, reduced pore size and weak acidity of HY contribute to enhanced catalytic activity and selectivity in conversion of naphthalene to tetralin.

        Low Loss La5-xSrxTi4+xAl1-xO17 Ceramics for Microwave Dielectric Applications

        La5-xSrxTi4+xAl1-xO17 (x = 0, 0.20, 0.25 and 0.30) ceramics were prepared through a mixed oxide solid state sintering route and characterized in terms of phase, crystal structure, microstructure and microwave dielectric properties. La5Ti4AlO17 exhibited reasonable relative permittivity εr ~ 42, a high quality factor Q×fo ~ 18906 GHz but the temperature coefficient of resonance frequency τf ~ −19 ppm/°C was too low for practical applications. In order to tune τf through zero, Sr was substituted for La which increased εr to 47.1, decreased Q×fo to 16678 GHz and decreased negative τf to −4.8 ppm/°C at x = 0.25. The observed decrease in negative τf may be due an increase in tolerance factor and hence change in tilt scheme of BO6 octahedra as a result of substitution of larger cations for smaller cations.

      • Explainable AI Based ensemble Model for Prediction of Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

        Many people across the world suffer from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a respiratory illness. It can be tough for clinicians to manage COPD since it necessitates thorough monitoring of symptoms, lung function, and medication use. The development of AI models that can aid physicians in making knowledgeable decisions about the diagnosis, observation, and treatment of COPD patients is made possible by the rise of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI). In this article, XAI has been used for the diagnose of COPD disease. We investigate how XAI might be used to build interpretable AI models that give doctors clear, comprehensible insights into how decisions are made. We used custom data in this study, which was collected at Inje University Paik Hospital in Busan, Korea, from March 8, 2012, to December 31, 2019. The dataset includes 2900 patients with COPD who were enrolled during this period of time. Recursive feature elimination technology was used to select the optimal subset of features for predicting the occurrence of COPD. We developed ML models to predict COPD, and used ensemble approach to get the optimal output by combining the results of all applied models. we used a soft voting ensemble (SVE) method for this purpose.. Consequently, we calculated the performance measures with an accuracy of 0.8922%. Finally, an explainable approach based on ML and the Shapley Additive explanations (SHAP) and a LIME method were used to evaluate the risk of COPD and to generate individual AI explanations of the model’s decisions.

        Does Brand Love Precede Brand Loyalty? Empirical Evidence from Saudi Airline Customers in Strategic Alliance Setting

        This research aims to construct a model that combines brand love, brand loyalty, brand image, customer satisfaction, and service quality into a single model, with brand loyalty coming foremost, and test its predictive power in building brand love. Moreover, mediating effect of customer satisfaction and brand image on service quality and brand loyalty affecting brand love was checked. The study adopted an alliance context using an existing SERVQUAL model, a bi-dimensional aspect of brand loyalty and parasocial love relationship theory, to identify brand love as a construct or outcome in the consumer-brand relationship. Using a quantitative approach, survey questionnaires were distributed by unrestricted random sampling among 507 Saudia Airlines customers. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 3.0. The results revealed significant relationships between four variables except for the brand image. It was found that brand image had no mediating effect on the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty. The outcome of this study highlights the importance of airline alliances for service quality, which leads to positive customer satisfaction, brand image, and customer loyalty. A unique contribution of the study is that it revealed that brand loyalty is also an antecedent of brand love.

        Integrating magnetized bentonite and pinecone-like BiOBr/BiOI Step-scheme heterojunctions as novel recyclable photocatalyst for efficient antibiotic degradation

        Utilizing the cost-effective natural clay and surface heterojunction engineering to synergistically constructan efficient heterojunction system and promote the separation of photogenerated charges is anappealing strategy for achieving superior photocatalytic activity. In this study, BiOBr/BiOI step-scheme(S-scheme) heterojunction in-suit grown on magnetized bentonite (MBT) was first engineered via facileand mild coprecipitation coupling microwave solvothermal process. The optimized magnetic bentonite/BiOBr/BiOI (MBT25/BiOBr/BiOI, the mass ratio of MBT to BiOBr/BiOI was 25%) attained the largest reactionrate constant (k = 0.021 min1) in tetracycline (TC) photocatalytic degradation within 80 min visible-lightirradiation. In addition, the reaction rate constant k of MBT25/BiOBr/BiOI for TC degradation was 10.51folds higher than that of pristine BiOI. Significantly, the characterization results demonstrated thatMBT effectively assisted the pinecone-like morphology formation of BiOBr/BiOI and endowed the wonderfulmagnetic-separation ability for MBT25/BiOBr/BiOI. Additionally, MBT ingeniously introduced atthe interface could couple with S-scheme heterojunction between BiOBr and BiOI to synergistically boostthe separation and transfer of photogenerated charges. As expected, superior photochemical propertiesand efficient production of active species over MBT25/BiOBr/BiOI were confirmed. Notably, recyclingexperiments verified the wonderful photocatalytic stability and high recovery efficiency of MBT25/BiOBr/BiOI. Furthermore, the abundant O2and OH active species led to hydroxylation, dealkylation,deamidation and ring opening of TC molecules. A synergistically enhanced mechanism over S-schemeMBT25/BiOBr/BiOI was clarified based on band structure calculations. This study offers an innovative perspectiveto design multifunctional photocatalysts with superior activity by integrating properties of magnetizedclay and S-scheme heterojunction.

        Desulfurization of liquid fuels by air assisted peracid oxidation system in the presence of Fe-ZSM-5 catalyst

        Catalytic oxidative desulfurization of the model oil or synthetic sulfur oil (SSO) and the different real/ industrial industrial oil fractions was investigated using air assisted hydrogen peroxide and formic acid oxidation in the presence of Fe-ZSM-5 as catalyst. The reactivity of the different model sulfur compounds increased in the order of thiophene< dibenzothiophene (BT)<4-methyl dibenzothiophene (4-MDBT). The desulfurization yield in case of the model oil was increased in the presence of Fe-ZSM-5 and the sulfur content of the model oil was reduced from 1275 to less than 50 ppm in 60 min at 60 oC temperature. The catalyst also performed efficiently in ODS of real industrial oil fractions, i.e., untreated naphtha (UN), light gas oil (LGO), cooker derived combined heavy gas oil (HGO) and Athabasca oil sands derived bitumen (At. Bit.), and sulfur removal of 80, 78, 62 and 60% was attained, respectively. Kinetic investigation revealed that the ODS catalyzed by Fe-ZSM-5 followed the first-order kinetics.

        A Study on Dosimetric Characterization of Direct Yellow 12 Dye at High Radiation γ-Dose

        Aqueous solution of oxygenated Direct yellow 12 dye has been evaluated spectrophotometrically as a possible gamma rays dosimeter. The neutral (pH-7), alkaline (pH-12.5) and acidic (pH-5.5) aqueous solution of the dye were prepared and exposed to various gamma doses. Absorption spectra of unirradiated and irradiated solutions were recorded at 400 nm peak. The increase in absorbance with the increase in irradiation dose was observed from 1 to 6 kGy. The stability response of the dye solution for different environmental conditions such as temperature (low & high), light and darkness were investigated during post irradiation storage for ten days. The dye solution showed high stability in darkness for the studied period. The optical density of the dye solution was found to be decreased at high temperature storage.
