In this study, the potential energy and limitation of the facility of Chungju national university are analyzed in the respect of human knowledge, nature, and visual environment. In addition, the effctiveness and problem of the existing master plan are evaluated through the investigation on the main hart and development procedure of the previous master plan of CJU. These results are compared and reflected to the plan of Vision 2003, e-STRR2010 and effective campus development plans of CJU are presented.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the correlation of the characteristics of dwellers and residential satisfaction in apartment housing. The contents of this research is to identify characteristics of dwellers, which might have an influence on residential satisfaction in apartment housing. In conclusion, the number of a family, the floor level, the size of housing unit and tenure had statistically significant correlations with the residential satisfaction in apartment housing.
CHANGES IN THERMAL INSULATION DURING UNDERWATER EXERCISE

1. Steady-state thermal insulation was measured in protected and unprotected subjects during rest and exercise in water of critical temperature. 2. In unprotected subjects, maximal body insulation at rest increased as a linear function of mean subcutaneous fat thickness. In all subjects, however, body insulation declined as an exponential function of the exercise intensity, reaching approximately 25% of the resting value at work loads above 4 Met. These suggest that over 75% of maximal body insulation in resting subjects is achieved by use of skeletal muscle as an insulative barrier. 3. In wet-suited subjects, the overall insulation decreased to 1/2 with 2 Met and to 1/3 of the resting value with 3 Met exercise. This decrease in total insulation was due in part to the reduction in body insulation and in part to the decrease in insulation afforded by wet-suits. The reduction in apparent suit insulation during exercise may be attributed primarily to an increase in the effective heat exchange surface area as a result of exercise hyperemia of the limbs which are poorly insulated as compared with the trunk. 4. As a practical consequence, both in protected and unprotected individual, heat generated by muscular exercise in water colder than critical temperature cannot offset cooling unless the exercise intensity is great.
ENERGETICS AND THERMOREGULATORY FUNCTIONS IN KOREAN WOMEN WET SUIT DIVERS

Korean women divers have dived for sea food in all seasons wearing only cotton swimsuits. Previous studies conducted in the 1960's indicated that these women divers subjected themselves to a daily cold water stress greater than that of any other human beings and that they had developed an unique pattern of cold acclimatization(2). However since 1977 Korean women divers have adopted wet suits to avoid cold water stress during diving work. We therefore conducted a series of experiments from 1980 to investigate the effect of wearing wet suits on the thermoregulation of contemporary women divers(5, 7). The results of some of these investigations are presented below.

Species identification in the Adoxophyes orana complex has historically posed a problem, due to marked morphological similarities among the members. Although pheromonal studies have often been suggested as a better indicator for ecological distinctions among species than morphological similarities, no molecular proof has yet been provided in this regard. Here, we have sequenced the COI barcoding region (<TEX>${\sim}660\;bp$</TEX>) as well as another COI region (<TEX>${\sim}940\;bp$</TEX>) and 18S rDNA <TEX>$(\sim(\sim1820\;bp)$</TEX> for species in Korea and Japan. We determined that the specimens recently collected in Korea were A. orana, which is identical to the Japanese A. orana fasciata; the Korean A. honmai is identical to the Japanese A. honmai; the Korean Adoxophyes sp., which has previously been identified as A. orana in Korea, is not actually A. orana but a third, possibly new, species; and the Japanese A. dubia is identical to A. honmai in Japan and A. honmai in Korea. p-distances among the species and their phylogenetic trees are also provided herein.
