        Investigating Various Factors Affecting the Long-Term Compressive Strength of Heat-Cured Fly Ash Geopolymer Concrete and the Use of Orthogonal Experimental Design Method

        This work quantified the hierarchy of the influence of three common mixture design parameters on the compressive strength and the rate of strength increase over the long term of low-calcium fly ash geopolymer concrete (FAGC) through designing 16 mixtures by the orthogonal experimental design (OED) method. The parameters used in the study were liquid to fly ash (L/FA) ratio, sodium hydroxide concentration (SHC) and sodium silicate solution to sodium hydroxide solution (SS/SH) ratio. The L/FA ratio showed little effect on compressive strength when it was varied from 0.40 to 0.52. SHC showed the greatest influence on compressive strength with little impact on the rate of strength increase after the initial heat curing. Even though the SS/SH ratio showed a small effect on the initial compressive strength, it had a considerable influence on the rate of strength increase over the long term. It was found that the compressive strength at 480 days was positively related to the Na₂O/SiO₂ molar ratio when it was varied from 0.49 to 0.80 and the Si/Al molar ratio was increased up to 1.87. Analysis of the failure types of specimens demonstrated that compressive strength of FAGC was associated with the strength of the mortar–aggregate interface zone (MAIZ).

      • Research on Rehabilitation Factors Related to Chinese Senile Liver Cirrhosis based on Hospital Information System

        Hospital information System is a new research field; the generalized medical information includes all information products and technologies related to health. In this paper, we try to analyze rehabilitation factors related to senile liver cirrhosis concurrent hospital infections, by using the data from hospital information System .We select 60 senile liver cirrhosis patients received by hospitals from July 2012 to July 2014 as samples, review and analyze their clinical data, investigate relevant experts’ valuable recognition data, and explore factors related to senile liver cirrhosis concurrent hospital infection patients. Result shows that Senile liver cirrhosis patients are prone to hospital infections, and gram positive bacteria are the main pathogen. There are numerous rehabilitation factors, including age, aerobic exercise, complication, antibiotic, albumin, invasive operation factors, etc. Clinical staff should implement etiological treatment and establish corresponding preventive measures to reduce the incidence of hospital infections.

        Integration of Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) and WAN, WiMAX and LTE

        Nowadays, wireless communication has a great advantage in technology. We use wireless devices almost in all expected life such as: entertainment, working and recently in the healthcare area, where Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) become a hot topic for researchers and system designers. Recent work on WBANs focus on related issues to communication protocol, especially ZigBee network is fine tuned to meet particular requirements in healthcare area. For example, some papers present real-time patient monitoring via ZigBee communication given the short distance between body sensors and remote devices, while the other work solve the limited coverage problem of Zigbee by designing mechanisms to relay Zigbee data to other types of wire or wireless infrastructure. However, very few of them investigate the scenarios of ZigBee coexisting or integrated with other networks. In this paper, we present the real-time data transmission from ZigBee end devices to Wide Area Network (WAN), Worldwide interoperation for microwave access network (WiMAX) and Long Term Evolution network (LTE). We provide in detail the ZigBee gateway components. Our simulation is conducted by OPNET, we visualize many topology network scenarios in ZigBee hybrid system. The results in simulation show that ZigBee end devices can successfully transmit data in real-time to other network end devices.

        Temporal expression profiling of long noncoding RNA and mRNA in the peripheral blood during porcine development

        Objective: We investigated the temporal expression profiles of long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) and mRNA in the peripheral blood of pigs during development and identified the lncRNAs that are related to the blood-based immune system. Methods: Peripheral blood samples were obtained from the pigs at 0, 7, 28, and 180 days and 2 years of age. RNA sequencing was performed to survey the lncRNA and mRNA transcriptomes in the samples. Short time-series expression miner (STEM) was used to show temporal expression patterns in the mRNAs and lncRNAs. Gene ontology and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes analyses were performed to assess the genes' biological relevance. To predict the functions of the identified lncRNAs, we extracted mRNAs that were nearby loci and highly correlated with the lncRNAs. Results: In total of 5,946 lncRNA and 12,354 mRNA transcripts were identified among the samples. STEM showed that most lncRNAs and mRNAs had similar temporal expression patterns during development, indicating the expressional correlation and functional relatedness between them. The five stages were divided into two classes: the suckling period and the late developmental stage. Most genes were expressed at low level during the suckling period, but at higher level during the late stages. Expression of several T-cell-related genes increased continuously during the suckling period, indicating that these genes are crucial for establishing the adaptive immune system in piglets at this stage. Notably, lncRNA TCONS-00086451 may promote blood-based immune system development by upregulating nuclear factor of activated T-cells cytoplasmic 2 expression. Conclusion: This study provides a catalog of porcine peripheral blood-related lncRNAs and mRNAs and reveals the characteristics and temporal expression profiles of these lncRNAs and mRNAs during peripheral blood development from the newborn to adult stages in pigs.

        Deep Neural Network Entrepreneurial Project Recommendation Model for the Integration of Industry, Education, and Entrepreneurship Needs of Students

        As the size of the entrepreneurship project information platform grows, it is becoming increasingly difficult for student users to find in-demand entrepreneurship projects that integrate industry and education comprehensively and rapidly. The severe information overload leads to poor accuracy of recommendation results. This study addressed these problems based on Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) and Matrix Decomposition Algorithms (MDAs) by combining a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), word embedding, and one-hot coding techniques. The DNN-MF model was used to extract the entrepreneurial needs and implicit features of students. The DNN-MF model designed for the study was also improved and incorporated with student user features, i.e., the DNN-DNN2 model was constructed. The experiments showed that the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of the DNN-MF model was lower than that of the Convolution Matrix Factorization (ConvMF) and Probabilistic Matrix Factorization (PMF) by 0.1190 and 0.1677, respectively. The RMSE of the DNN-DNN2 model was lower than that of the DNN-MF model, and the recommendation accuracy of the study model was 2.35% higher than that of the DNN-DNN1 model, which did not incorporate the student user characteristics. These results showed that the proposed recommendation model for entrepreneurial projects was significantly better than the current popular ones. Moreover, the model could complete the task of recommending entrepreneurial projects faster and more accurately, effectively solving the cold start problem of users and projects, which has certain practical significance.

        Molecular and Cellular Microbiology / Biomedical Sciences : Surface-Displayed IL-10 by Recombinant Lactobacillus plantarum Reduces Th1 Responses of RAW264.7 Cells Stimulated with Poly(I:C) or LPS

        Recently, poly-γ-glutamic acid synthetase A (pgsA) has been applied to display exogenous proteins on the surface of Lactobacillus casei or Lactococcus lactis, which results in a surfacedisplayed component of bacteria. However, the ability of carrying genes encoded by plasmids and the expression efficiency of recombinant bacteria can be somewhat affected by the longer gene length of pgsA (1,143 bp); therefore, a truncated gene, pgsA, was generated based on the characteristics of pgsA by computational analysis. Using murine IL-10 as an exogenous gene, recombinant Lactobacillus plantarum was constructed and the capacity of the surface-displayed protein and functional differences between exogenous proteins expressed by these strains were evaluated. Surface expression of IL-10 on both recombinant bacteria with anchorins and the higher expression levels in L. plantarum-pgsA’-IL-10 were confirmed by western blot assay. Most importantly, up-regulation of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γ, and the nuclear transcription factor NF-κB p65 in RAW264.7 cells after stimulation with Poly(I:C) or LPS was exacerbated after co-culture with L. plantarum-pgsA. By contrast, IL-10 expressed by these recombinant strains could reduce these factors, and the expression of these factors was associated with recombinant strains that expressed anchorin (especially in L. plantarum-pgsA’-IL-10) and was significantly lower compared with the anchorin-free strains. These findings indicated that exogenous proteins could be successfully displayed on the surface of L. plantarum by pgsA or pgsA’, and the expression of recombinant bacteria with pgsA’ was superior compared with bacteria with pgsA.

        The Three-wavelength PR<SUP>3+</SUP>:YLF Laser at 604 nm 607 nm and 640 nm with Fabry-Perot Etalon

        A three-wavelength Pr<SUP>3+</SUP>:YLF laser at 604 nm, 607 nm and 640 nm simultaneously output by Fabry-Perot (F-P) etalon has been obtained. A 444 nm blue laser diode is used for pumping the Pr<SUP>3+</SUP>:YLF crystal, and a 0.1 mm F-P etalon is inserted in the resonator to select wavelength. The theoretical model of three-wavelength Pr<SUP>3+</SUP>:YLF laser is established, by adjusting the tilt angle of the etalon, the transmittances of the different wavelengths can be controlled, and the threshold values can be made to equalize by controlling the loss among different wavelengths. In the experiment, when the tilt angle of etalon is 9° and the optimized length of resonator is 48 mm, the total output power of 25 mW at the three-wavelength is achieved at incident pump power of 7.5 W.

      • Research on Operation Risk and Perceived Physical Condition of Old People : an Empirical Analysis based on Online Follow-Up Survey

        With the development of Internet, the mass media of health management have brought great change to the previous health management model. Based on big data technology and intelligence, new technology allows doctors to make more detailed tracking investigation for the elderly. In this paper, we collected data from 561 senior citizens by using online follow-up survey, and find out the influencing factors related to perceived physical condition. The result shows that the score of the perceived physical condition is 72.91 as compared to gender (T=4.032,P=0.045), age group(T=35.561,P=0.000), educational level (T=15.116, P=0.000), monthly income (T=2.800,P=0.039), marital status (T=15.458,P=0.000), self-care ability (T=49.675,P=0.000), place of abode (T=21.127,P=0.000), previous profession (T=10.030, P=0.000), type of registered permanent residence(T=11.542,P=0.001), chronic disease (T=107.02,P=0.000).

        Transition metal disulfide (MoTe2, MoSe2 and MoS2) were modified to improve NO2 gas sensitivity sensing

        For the detection of the more hazardous nitrogen oxides (NO2), there is a need to find a readily fabricated,low-cost, high-performance two-dimensional material. This paper selected three transition metal disulphides(TMDs), MoTe2, MoSe2 and MoS2, as materials for detecting NO2 molecules by density floodingtheory (DFT). The results show that the pure Mo(Te/Se/S)2 monolayer has a poor detection effect onNO2 molecules, and the modified monolayer exhibits better performance than its natural counterpartdue to the significant electron hybridization between the dopant and the gas molecules after the introductionof metal atoms on the surface. It also leads to significant changes in electronic properties andwork functions. The charge transfer mechanism based on Hirshfeld analysis shows that the charge transferfrom the modified substrate to the NO2 molecule improves the binding characteristics. And by discussingthe adsorption structure, adsorption energy, local electron density, density of states, andfrontier orbit theory, we show that MoTe2 is a promising material for gas detection and removal, whichwill provide experimentalists with theoretical guidance for the application of Mo(Te/Se/S)2 based sensingmaterials. Our work is important for predicting novel monosulfide sensing materials and extending theapplication of TMDs as chemical gas sensors in the field of environmental monitoring.
