Selection of Valve Clearance Using MLA Tappet for Valvetrain Rig

MLA system is used to reduce cost and friction. But MLA system doesn't have the ability of controlling of clearance between MLA and valve not as HLA. In case of MLA the clearance becomes nearly zero as the engine warmed-up. The valve motion is usually studied at valvetrain rig for convenience. But the temperature of test head at rig is much lower than real engine. So there is a difference between rig test result and real valve motion at engine. In this study the effect of MLA clearance was studied. From maximum clearance to zero clearance, 5 sorts of MLA were tested. From the lift and velocity graph of closing region the seating velocity and bouncing height was studied. Also the effect of warming-up on clearance was studied.
Estimation of Thermal Aging Embrittlement of LWR Primary Pressure Boundary Components

Cast duplex stainless steels are extensively used for primary pressure boundary components. These components are, however, embrittled due to the precipitation of $\alpha$' phase by spinodal decomposition and other processes when exposed to reactor operating temperature for a design lifetime or life extension conditions. This report presents a procedure for estimating the current condition and the residual life of safety-related stainless steel components by using ANL database and correlations. The database of Charpy impact energy suggests that CF-8M grade is the most susceptible to thermal aging and CF-3 grade is the least. Thus, the integrity of CF-8M alleys may be degraded seriously and the degree of deterioration may exceed acceptance limit after several years of service in the nuclear reactors.

This study aims to examine the relationship between Pahanjip, the first Korean book about poems and their related stories and Bohanjip, which was published 40 years later. The main focus of this study is the extensive and augmentative relationship between two books. There were two main reasons to publish Bohanjip. One was the insufficiency of Pahanjip itself, and the other was the demand which the writer of Bohanjip and people around him realized to supplement Pahanjip.<BR> As a result of the study, Pahanjip was excessively oriented toward Lee Inro’s personal achievements and his view points about literature. Those were recognized as negative factors by other writers. The leading figure who criticized Lee Inro was Choi Wu, who was the ruler of the times. The writer of Bohanjip was Choi Ja. In comparison to Pahanjip, there existed a will to extend and develop the contents of Pahanjip in Bohanjip.<BR> In extension parts, the quantity and areas of data were expanded. In addition, criticism became more various, and objectivity increased. Bohanjip contains contents which were compiled and evaluated more carefully than Pahanjip. Lee Inro’s rhetorical device which quoted famous old writers’ writing was replaced by Originality Theory. Lee Inro’s place as the head of literary circles was replaced by Lee Gyubo. The efforts to extend the old book and develop it into the new one made a significant contribution to early Korean poetry books.
인간 로봇 상호작용을 위한 Disparity 정보를 이용한 동작 인식

제스처는 음성을 대체할 수 있는 가장 강력한 의사소통 수단이다. 본 논문에서는 제스처 인식을 통해 인간과 컴퓨터 사이의 상호적용(HCI)이 가능한 방법을 제안하였다. 사람의 제스처를 판단하기 위하여 시간 정보를 이용하여 사람의 움직임을 누적 하고 중첩하는 MHI (Motion History Image)와 MEI (Motion Energy Image)의 방법을 이용한다. 또한 배경 변화에 강인한 제스처 인식이 가능하도록 3차원 좌표 정보를 이용한다. 먼저 AdaBoost 방법을 이용하여 사람의 얼굴을 검출한 후 사람 얼굴 영역의 Z축 좌표 값의 평균을 구한다. 사람 얼굴 영역 Z축 평균값을 이용하여 카메라에서부터 사람 얼굴보다 가까운 일점 3차원 영역을 잘라내어 제스처 영역으로 정의한다. 제스처 영역은 카메라와 사람 얼굴 사이의 공간이므로 제스처 인식 도중 배경의 변화나 조명의 변화에 강인한 특징을 가진다. 제스처 분류기는 인공 신경망을 이용하였다.
EKF를 이용한 BLDC 모터 구동기 인버터의 고장 검출 및 분리

The inverters used to drive Brushless DC motors (BLDC) include switching devices such as FETs and the faults in FETs cause severe performance degradation in systems where a BLDC acts as actuator. This paper presents a fault detection and isolation method for the FETs of an inverter for BLDC motor control systems, which is based on the EKF (Extended Kalman filter). Firstly, an equivalent circuit model for a BLDC motor plus its inverter system was derived. Secondly, a state-space equation was established, where the on-resistance of the FETs is expressed as a state variable and the EKF equation estimates the on-resistance. If the estimated resistance differs greatly from the known value, it can be asserted that there is a fault on that FET. Thirdly, the local convergence of the established EKF was proved. Finally, through the experiments, the performance of the proposed method was verified. The results show that the on-resistance is estimated close to the value specified in the FET data sheet in normal operation, whereas the estimated resistance is a much larger value than the normal one in case an FET fault occurs. Therefore, it is confirmed that the proposed fault detection and isolation method works appropriately in real systems.
원작의 유무와 아이돌 출연이 웹드라마 흥행에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 웹드라마 산업이 발달함에 따라 관심이 증폭되는 시점에서 웹드라마 흥행에 미치는 요인이 무엇인지에 대해 실증적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 기존 연구는 웹드라마의 현황분석이 주를 이루고 있으며 웹드라마의 흥행에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구가 부족하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 웹드라마의 누적 조회수의 누적 랭킹을 제공하고 있는 사이트인 컨스TV를 통해 2016년 2월 1일부터 2016년 3월 1일까지의 기간에 상영된 누적순위 1위부터 100위를 대상으로 팬덤의 유무가 웹드라마 흥행에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하였다. 연구 결과 팬덤은 웹드라마의 흥행에 긍정적인 영향을 주었는데, 원작(웹툰, 웹소설)이 있는 경우와 아이돌이 출연하는 경우 웹드라마 흥행에 유의미한 관계가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 팬덤이 웹드마라에 미치는 긍정적 영향은 웹드라마의 정기 구독자를 나타내는 채널구독자수를 통해서 이루어진다는 매개효과를 발견했다. This study investigated the antecedents of web-drama success as the interests on web-drama is increasing. We focused on the factors which help web-drama success because current studies on web-drama has focused on the description of market. We examined the effect of fandom on the success of web-drama using the data of constv site which provided with the rank (1-100) of web-drama between February 1st and March 1st in 2016. We found that the fandom had a positive effect on the success of web drama. In addition, we also found that the number of people registered in web-drama channel mediated the relationship between the fandom and the success of web-drama. This study contributed to the current literature by revealing the factors which enable the success of web-drama.
