분산 어플리케이션의 정보보호 서비스를 위한 CAPI 설계 모델

Until recently, the integration of cryptographic functionality into application program has required that developers tightly couple the application to the cryptographic module. This approach forces each new combination of application and cryptography to be treated as a distinct development effort, and does not provide the modularity and maintainability. An approach that can provide flexibility and cost saving is the use of a standardized CAPI(Cryptographic Application Prigram Interface) suite. This Paper analyze the CAPI for the development of various types of security application programs in distributed environment. The analysis of CAPI are considered with the respect of 7 criteria items such as algorithm independence, application independence, cryptomodule independence, the degree of cryptographic awareness, modular design and auxiliary services, safe programming and security perimeter. In this paper, we suggested the basis of utilization to be selected for develope the cryptographic modules in distributed applications.

A two-dimensional immiscible water meniscus deformation phenomena on a moving tip in a channel has been investigated by using lattice Boltzmann method involving two-phase model. We studied the behavior of a water meniscus between the tip and a solid surface. The contact angles of the tip and a solid surface considered are in the range from 10° to 170°, the velocity of the tip used in the study are 0.01, 0.001, and 0.0001, and a rectangular and circle shape of the tip are considered. The behavior of water confined between the tip and a solid surface depends on the contact angles of the tip and a solid surface, and the velocity of the tip. When the tip is moving, the shear deformation behavior of a water meniscus occurs variously.

본 논문에서는 배터리 시스템에서 각 파라미터가 시스템에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 몇 가지 배터리 모델을 선정하였으며 모델별로 다양한 변화를 주어 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션의 결과를 바탕으로 파라미터 특성에 대한 분석을 하였고 그 결과를 바탕으로 다양한 모델에 적용, 분석함으로써 타당성을 검증하였다.
Activated Carbon Waste Pretreatment System for Boron Containing Radioactive Waste Upcycling

In NPP (nuclear power plant), boric acid is used as a neutron absorbent. So radioactive boric acid waste are generated from various waste streams such as discharge or leakage of reactor coolant water, floor drains, drainage of equipment for operation or maintenance, reactor letdown flows and etc. Depending on KHNP, 20,015 drum (200 L drum) of concentrated boric acid waste were stored in KOREA NPP until 2019. In previous study, our group suggested the waste upcycling process synthesizing B4C neutron absorber using boric acid waste and activated carbon waste to innovatively reduce radioactive wastes. Radioactive activated carbon waste was utilized in off gas treatment system of NPP to capture nuclide such as I-131, C-14 and H-3. Activated carbon waste is treated as low-level radioactive waste and pre-treatment system for removing nuclide from the activated carbon waste is needed to use B4C up-cycling process. In this study, microwave treatment system is suggested to treat the activated carbon waste. Activated carbon waste was exposed to microwave for a few minutes and temperature of the waste was dramatically increased over 400°C. Nuclide in the activated carbon waste were selectively removed from the waste without massive production of secondary off gas waste.

When the tip is moving, we can observe the various behaviors of shear deformation of a water meniscus. As time goes on, the behavior of a water meniscus can be classified into three different patterns which are separated from the tip or adhered to the tip or sticked to a solid surface according to the contact angles and the tip velocity.
고속 UHF RFID 태그 검사 장비를 위한 전용 리더

RFIDs have not become widespread as expected partly due to the cost, size, read range, and reliability problems of tags. The success rate of reading must be improved in order for RFIDs to be widely adopted. Quality control of tags is crucial to meet this requirement. In this study, we designed and implemented a high-performance reader used in inspection equipment that conducts prior inspection of tags. To improve performance of the developed reader, the baseband modem and command processor (CP) were designed using H/W logic and implemented with FPGA. The inspection of small pitch inlays was made possible through the antenna shielding device and H/W command processor function. This equipment enables accurate evaluation of performance and identification of tags satisfying a given read range. By contributing to sort out defective tags, the results can ultimately lead to more stable RFID services.
