This paper presents a new classified vector quantization(CVQ) that intelligently classifies edge blocks based on the energy distribution of a subimage in the discrete cosine transform domain. The vector quantization can achieve low bit rate but with computational complexity and edge degradation. To overcome these problems a new classification method was studied. We classify subimages to the eight edge classes according to the proposed classification method and a neural network trained with the pattern generated from the classification method. Comparing with the conventional DCT-CVQ, the propsed and the neural classification showed better performance.

This paper presents an optimal routing method for a multistage interconnection network(MIN) using the simulated annealing technique. Optimal routing using the simulated annealing technique can find global minimum better than that of the greedy search in the Benes network and the Clos network. Exhaustive search always finds the optimal path, but with heavy computation. Although greedy search sets up a path quickly, the path found need not be optimal. The simulated annealing search can find a sub optimal path in time comparable with the greedy search. Simulated annealing technique can be employed as a routing method for a Random MIN that doesn't have a simple routing method.
Adaptive Transform Image Coding by Fuzzy Subimage Classification

An adaptive fuzzy system can efficiently classify subimages into four categories according to image activity level for image data compression. The system estimates fuzzy rules by clustering input-output data generated from a given adaptive transform image coding process. The system encodes different images without modification and reduces side information when encoding multiple images. In the second part, a fuzzy system estimates optimal bit maps for the four subimage classes in noisy channels assuming a Gauss-Markov image model. The fuzzy systems respectively estimate the sampled subimage classification and the bit-allocation processes without a mathematical model of how outputs depend on inputs and without rules articulated by experts.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the Muay Thai gym’s attribute selection on trainee’s satisfaction and word-of-mouth intention. To test this, 209 trainees were sampled from Muay Thai gym located in Seoul. Purposive sampling method was used to get results in the 2 months from August to September of 2011. Conducted data through SPSS 18.0 are as follows: First, program and price of attribute selection had positive effect on social satisfaction of trainee’s satisfaction. Price, program and convenience of attribute selection had positive impact on psychological satisfaction and physical satisfaction. Second price and program of attribute selection had positive effect on word-of-mouth intention. Third, social satisfaction and physical satisfaction of trainee’s satisfaction had positive effect on word-of-mouth intention.
