        Interaction between Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor Val66Met Polymorphism and Recent Negative Stressor in Harm Avoidance

        <P>There have been controversial results regarding the association between brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) Val66Met polymorphism and anxiety-related traits such as harm avoidance (HA). We aimed to investigate the interaction between <I>BDNF</I> Val66Met polymorphism and negative life stressors in HA. <I>BDNF</I> Val66Met polymorphism was genotyped in 391 community-dwelling Koreans (152 males, 239 females; 43.2 ± 14.1 years old). The Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI) and the Center for Epidemiological Studies for Depression Scale (CES-D) were self applied. The Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV axis I disorders and face-to-face interviews investigating negative life stressors within the last 6 months were also performed. There was no significant difference in TCI score, major depressive disorder prevalence and CES-D score among the 3 genotypes (94 Met/Met, 188 Val/Met and 109 Val/Val subjects). There was no significant difference in TCI scores between subjects with stressors and those without stressors, while more common major depressive episodes (p = 0.03) and higher CES-D scores (p < 0.001) were found in subjects with stressors. However, there was a significant interaction between the <I>BDNF</I> genotype and negative life stressors in HA (p = 0.02). Only subjects with the Val/Val genotype showed higher HA with recent negative stressors. Our finding suggests that <I>BDNF</I> Val66Met polymorphism might influence HA by interacting with recent negative stress experience.</P><P>Copyright © 2009 S. Karger AG, Basel</P>

        제조기업의 물류비 관리방법에 관한 연구

        물류비를 계산하는 방법에는 건교부 지침 등 다양한 기준이 있다. 그러나 물류비를 계산하고 이를 활용하는 데는 어려운 점이 있다. 따라서, 기업이 쉽게 물류비를 계산하고 활용할 수 있는 물류비 관리방법이 필요하다. 현재 제조기업들은 물류비의 규모를 파악하는 수준에 있다. 이를 파악하여 관리함으로써 기업 경영에 중요한 영향을 미치는 물류비를 절감할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 제조기법들의 물류비 계산 및 관리사례와 물류비 절감 대책을 살펴보고, 물류비원가 구성요소인 재료비, 경비, 노무비 측면에서 물류비를 절감할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. Managing of logistics cost is not accounting it, but reducing cost. It can help to control our company's logistics costs. An accounting method that enables a business to understand more clearly how and where it makes a profit. The ability of the firm's logistics cost accounting system gives a truer picture of the cost and subsequent profit associated with serving a given account or chain of distribution. We have three kind of methodology of accounting it. But it is difficult to apply to manufacturing enterprise. On investigation, Lots of company want to know the scale of it and they don't manage it. And so, we need to have access to easy methods of accounting and managing the logistics cost. We studied the methodology of logistics cost reduction in Japan and the cases of accounting it in Korea. The study has been carried out based on the factor of cost structure: material costs, general expenses, labor costs In this paper we try to make suggestions for management method and reduction logistics cost of manufacturing company.

        Study on Anti-thrombotic Activity, Superoxide Generation in Human Neutrophils and Platelet Aggregation in Human Blood of Hwao-tang

        The present paper reports the effects of Hwaotang an atherosclerosis using a spontaneous experimental model, We have also investigated the pharmacological effect of Hwaotang on collagen- and ADP-induced blood platelet aggregation, thrombin-induced conversion of fibrinogen and fibrinolysis in in vitro experiments, and various effects on stimuli-induced superoxide generation in human neutrophils. Hwao-tang was shown to have inhibitory effect on collagen- and ADP-induced blood platelet aggregation, on thrombin-induced conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin and on the activity of plasminogen or plasmin. Hwao-tang also significantly inhibited fMLP-induced superoxide generation in a concentration-dependent manner, but not that induced by arachidonic acid. Hwao-tang inhibited neutrophil functions, including degranulation, superoxide generation, and leukotriene B4 production, without any effect on 5-lipoxygenase activity. In conclusion, the protection of extracts of Hwao-tang on the ischemic infarction induced artificially might be involved to their inhibition of thrombotic action. The results also indicate that Hwao-tang exerts the effects on superoxide generation related to the inhibition of neutrophil functions.

      • 기후변화에 따른 기업 규모별 물 리스크 대응 실징연구

        Purpose: Changing in the precipitation pattern like the range of fluctuation will lead to expanded uncertainty over reliable supply of water resources and have a serious impact on demands for living and industrial water resulted from change in the volume and period of river outflow. This study was conducted to explore the countermeasures to determine the actual situation of enterprises by company size corresponds to the water shortage problem to be emerging from climate change. Research design, data, and methodology: This study is to look into the level of water risk management in companies by classifying 115 companies into 3 groups of small, medium, and large size, along with 19 surveys and seek ways to respond to this issue. Results: Companies should be aware of water-related risks and Five Countermeasures proposed. Conclusions: South Korea``s companies are showing poor performance in all areas in response to water risks, regardless of volume. In order to overcome water risks, based on the support of the national level of the individual companies improvement efforts, there is a need for a continuing study of the development indicators for water management improvements.

        환경친화적 수 배송 물류활동의 지표 활용에 관한 사례연구

        지속가능한 발전과 관련된 새로운 패러다임이 우리사회가 도달해야할 목표로 간주되고 있다. 물류는 자원순환형 시스템의 실행역할을 하고 있으며, 지속가능발전을 위해서 환경친화적으로 구축되어야 한다. 최근 물류분야에서도 환경이 중요한 경쟁수단으로 등장하고 있어서 이에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 최근 지구온난화가 부각되고 있으며, 온실가스의 60%를 차지하고 있는 이산화탄소 배출량의 비중이 교통 분야가 약 20%를 차지하고 있어서 이에 대한 연구가 중요하다. 이를 위하여 트럭화물수송의 사례를 통하여 감가상각비와 수선비, 감가상각비와 이산화탄소 배출량, 수선비와 이산화탄소 배출량과 관계등의 지표를 조사, 분석하여 환경친화적 수·배송활동의 지표와 방향을 제시하고자 한다. The new paradigms relating the sustainable development have become the goal that our society share these days. Therefore, the logistics, which plays the actual execution role of the resource circulation system, has thus to be established on an environmental conscious basis for the sustainable development. Recently, the sustainability has become a key issue of competition, and this trend in turn is calling for a relevant research on this matter. Especially, the global warming issue is getting more and more focus these days. Along with the fact that the transport industry occupies up to 20% of the entire industries in Korea, these issues emphasize the significance of such research. Therefore, in this study, we will take a look into some cases of the companies where the transportation activities within the logistics space are carried out in an environmental conscious fashion to provide a new initiative. In this regard, we will investigate and analyze the indexes concerning the depreciation and maintenance cost for the transportation using trucks, the relationship between the carbon emission and the depreciation cost, and the carbon emission and maintenance cost, with a purpose to provide with an initiative and index covering a desirable transport/logistics activity.

        자원순환형 경제사회기반 구축을 위한 기업의 환경친화적 물류시스템실태

        The purpose of this study is to examine the actual condition of environment conscious logistic system which is essential to make material recycling economic society. Environment conscious logistic management which meant simply recycle is tend to promote material reduction, reuse and recycling. We have made case studies about advanced environment friendly logistic system. To examine Korean companies' environment conscious logistic system, we made survey form which is consist of 82 questionnaires and 154 companies have participated for this. And we have analyzed the survey responses. As a result of this study, we propose the way of constructing environment conscious logistic system in Korea.

      • 우유 1리터 생산을 위한 공급체인의 물발자국계산과 물 리스크 대응

        2012년 OECD의 ‘2050 환경전망’에 따르면 우리나라는 OECD국가 중에서 물 스트레스가 가장 심한 국가로 발표되었다. 2020년 우리나라는 물 부족국가에 진입한다고 알려져 있다. 녹색성장의 키워드를 물 정책으로 제시하고 있다. 21세기 후반 평양의 기온이 현재 서귀포의 기온(16.6℃)과 유사해질 것으로 예상되며, 이에 대응하는 수자원의 양과 리스크를 살펴본다. 물발자국은 원재료조달에서 부터 생산, 폐기, 리사이클까지 상품의 라이프사이클의 물 사용량을 산출하고 물 자원의 부하를 정량화하는 수법이다. 물발자국 계산에는 물 소비원단위가 사용되고 있다. 본 연구는 우유 1리터 생산하는 과정인 “사료~송아지~어미소~착유장”까지 물소비량을 살펴보고, 젖소에 적정한 생육조건, 환경조건을 살펴보고, 사료에서 착유장까지 발생한 직ㆍ간접 물발자국을 계산하였다. 이를 통하여 대응분야별 물 리스크에 대응하는 방안을 모색해 보고자 한다. According to ‘OECD Environmental Outlook to 2050’ in 2012, Korea is the most severe water stress country among OECD nations. It is said that Korea will become water-shortage country in 2020. Green Growth choices for water resources in Korea. In end-21st century, temperature of Pyongyang in North Korea reaches to current level(16.6℃) of Seogwipo in South Korea. Water Footprint is the amount of water using in and around home, school or office throughout the day. So, Water Footprint is calculate the amount of water from raw materials procurement, final disposal to recycling of the product life cycle. Also it is a technique to quantify the load of the water source. Water Footprint can be calculated average water consumption as the basic unit.This study examined the water consumption of the process of producing one liter of milk (from feedstuff, calves, mother cows to a dairy), appropriate growth and environmental conditions for raising cows and calculated Water Footprint caused from feedstuff to a dairy directly and indirectly.Through the study, we proposed how to preparing against water risk by sectors.
