The study aims to analyze the supply chain role of supervision, discipline, work climate, and organizational learning on the performance of community services at the public works. This study took a sample of employees through purposive sampling technique at the Public Works Office and Bina Marga in a regency in East Java. Data through questionnaire was collected through a 5-point Likert scale model. The results show that the application of employee discipline affects the performance of public services, with a contribution of 39.7%, meaning that discipline and organizational learning are implementation factors that have an effect on public service performance. In stepwise regression analysis, the supervisory factor has a correlation with service performance, but it is less relevant, while the work climate is not relevant as a predictor variable to improve public service performance. The study revealed the importance of the supply chain policy of implementing good and clean governance and the enactment of the performance appraisal of the government apparatus established through Good Corporate Governance of the state apparatus. The findings provide a basis to encourage the public sector performance to smooth every step of supply chain management of every government project work, especially in the field of public services.

The study aims to analyze the performance-prove goal orientation and organizational culture on employee work performance of performance appraisal by placing employee work motivation as an interning variable. The study was conducted on a quota sample basis with 134 employees and staff in educational institutions under the auspices of Islamic educational institutions in Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia. Analysis through structural equation modeling (SEM) was done, and results were obtined which showed that there is an influence of institutional culture on employee motivation and that there is an effect of employee motivation on performance appraisal. However, the statistical output showed that there is no significant effect of performance-prove goal orientation on employee motivation. In testing the mediating effect, the results showed the significant influence of employee motivation in bridging the relationship between organizational culture on performance appraisal, and performance-proven goals and performance appraisal. The theoretical contributions of the findings were in its examination of performance-prove goal orientation with motivational encouragement in educational institutions to analyze the extent to which an individual’s self-confidence was able to integrate patterns in distinguishing the approach used, how to use, and the response to a specific situation of directing toward organizational achievement.
Socio-Economic Factors and Rural Competitive Advantage: The Moderating Role of Economic Literacy
RUSTANTONO, Hendra,SOETJIPTO, Budi Eko,WAHJOEDI, Wahjoedi,SUNARYANTO, Sunaryanto Korea Distribution Science Association 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.8
This study aims to determine the factors influencing the community behavior in improving competitive rural tourism as well as understanding the role of economic literacy in mediating socio-economic indicators and rural competitive advantage. This research followed an explanatory research to examine the relationship between variables including socio-economic variables and rural tourism competitive advantage. The data was gathered by conducting observations and interviews with tourism businesses, stakeholders, and the local village government, and related agencies as respondents. Furthermore, the data were analyzed following inductive and descriptive statistics. The findings indicated that, from all variables used, solely the environmental impact variable did not affect economic literacy and the competitive advantage of rural tourism. The moderating variables showed that the economic literacy mediates the economic impact on rural tourism competitive advantage. In addition, socio-cultural impacts on rural competitive advantage tourism, and the stakeholder involvement affects rural competitive advantage tourism. However, economic literacy failed in mediating between environmental impacts on rural competitive advantage tourism. This is due to the increasing understanding of the economy of the community around the tourist attractions it will increase the business around the tourist attractions that have an impact on environmental damage around the tourist attractions.

Background: Due to the high endemicity of hepatitis B in Lombok population, it is important to determine its prevalence among migrant workers (MWs), since Lombok contributes the most from Indonesia abroad. Hepatitis B virus (HBV) (sub)genotypes have geographic specifi c distribution. We have reported HBV strains from Indonesian MWs based on part of envelope region and several strains could not clearly be determined their subgenotypes. In this study we analyse the whole genome sequences of those strains. Methods: Sera were collected from Indonesian MWs, to be screened for HBsAg by Enzyme Immunoassay. Those with HBsAg positive were continued with HBV DNA detection and (sub)genotype/subtype determination based on envelope region and, for several strains, on whole genome sequences. Results: Seventeen point two percent (15/87) sera from the MWs who will go to their destination countries and 12.2% (15/124) of those come back to Indonesia were HBsAg positive. All of 30 HBsAg positive samples showed hepatitis B viremia by part of envelope gene amplifi cation. Six of HBV-B genotype and one HBV-C strains were whole genome sequenced. All together showed that the most isolates (96.2%, 25/26) belonged to HBV B3/adw2 and 3.8% was HBV C8/adrq+. The whole genome phylogenetic analysis of our strains supports a recent argument that subgenotypes B5, B7, B8, B9 could be considered as a quasi-subgenotype of B3, which is most commonly found in West Indonesia, including in Lombok. Conclusions: High prevalent of HBsAg carriers in the Indonesian MWs from Lombok were found, with the predominant of HBV B3/adw2. A tight screening of HBV to the MWs should be applied, in order to limit its transmission abroad. This study also confi rmed a recent fi nding that HBV-B subgenotypes need to be reclassifi ed.
