This text, objective, in a first time, describe the institutional environment existing in international society after World War II desired the creation of the International Organization of Trade. Do not implementing this, describes itself as the emergence of the GATT Agreement for the international relations of trade, culminating, with the Marrakesh Agreement of 1995, the creation of the World Trade Organization as a specialized agency of the United Nations system. Then, the text describes the rounds of negotiations held under the World Trade Organization, considering the latter - the Doha Round ― which started in 2001 and active until the present day, the formation of blocs emerging-country negotiators - as in the G-20 ― and proposed agreements involving the most diverse agricultural sector, as what became known as the “Triangle of Mandelson”, in allusion to that by Peter Mandelson, European Commissioner trade. Finally, reflecting the ambitions Brazilian - and opposition to them - leading to a possible project overall production of biofuels to replace the matrix from fossil and considering the last WTO panel that judged in favor of Brazil the subsidies North Americans for its production of cotton as incompatible with the policy of world trade, is an overview of the challenges that are imposed on Brazilian agribusiness.

We present a case of osteoradionecrosis treated with leukocyte- and platelet-rich fibrin (LPRF) and surgery and followed up with clinical and tomographic investigations. A 65-year-old woman presented with pain in the posterior region of the right palate. Her medical history included cardiovascular disease and squamous cell carcinoma in the anterior region of the floor of the mouth that had been treated with intensity-modulated radiation therapy. Measurements of isodose curves showed a full dosage of 6,462.6 cGy in the anterior mandibular region, whereas that in the posterior region on the right side of the maxilla reached 5,708.1 cGy. Osteotomy was performed using rotary instruments, and debridement and placement of two LPRF membranes were also carried out. New gum tissue with no bone exposure was noted 14 days postoperatively. Tissue repair was complete, and the patient had no further complaints. During a 39-month follow-up period, the oral mucosa remained intact, and the patient was rehabilitated with a new upper denture. Since there is no consensus regarding the best protocol to treat osteoradionecrosis, LPRF might be an interesting adjuvant to a surgical approach. The use of LPRF is simple and reduces operational costs, time of handling, probability of technical failure, and associated morbidities for patients with osteoradionecrosis.
Nonlinear analysis of service stresses in reinforced concrete sections-closed form solutions

This paper presents an algorithm for the evaluation of stresses in reinforced concrete sections under service loads. The algorithm is applicable to any section defined by polygonal contours and is based on an analytical integration of the stresses. The nonlinear behaviour of concrete is represented by the parabola-rectangle law used in the Eurocode-2 for the ultimate concrete design. An integrated definition of the strains in concrete and steel is possible by the use of Heaviside functions, similarly to what is done for ultimate section design in Barros et al. (2004). Other constitutive equations for the definition of the stresses in the concrete or steel can be easily incorporated into the code. The examples presented consist in the evaluation of resulting axial load and bending moment in an irregular section and in a section in L shape. The results, for service stresses, can also be plotted in terms of design abacus; a rectangular doubly reinforced section is presented as example.

This study verified the effects of a physical exercise program performed at Basic Healthcare Units on the body composition and functional capacity of women over 50 years old and to compare these variables according to age. Forty-eight women (age, 65.4± 7.3 years) were assessed. The program lasted 20 weeks, and was conducted 2 times per week, 60 min/day. Body mass and height were collected and body mass index (BMI) was calculated. Bioelectrical impedance was used to estimate fat mass and fat free mass. Functional capacities: handgrip test, Timed Up and Go (TUG) test, and Guralnick test were assessment. Weight (68.7± 12.5 [pre]× 66.8± 12.5 [post], P< 0.001), BMI (28.5± 4.1 kg/ m2 [pre]× 27.6± 4.0 kg/m2 [post], P< 0.001), and fat mass (28.4± 7.8 kg [pre]× 26.4± 7.3 kg [post], P< 0.001) were decreased. For functional capacity, handgrip (21.2± 5.8 kg [pre]× 22.9± 6.9 kg [post], P= 0.014), lower limb strength (12.0± 3.0 sec [pre]× 8.5± 2.2 sec [post], P< 0.001), TUG (8.4 ±1.5 sec [pre] ×7.6 ±1.1 se [post], P<0.001) and Guralnik tests (10.6± 1.6 [pre]× 11.8± 0.5 [post], P< 0.001) were improved. 20 weeks of exercise program performed at Basic Healthcare Units decreased body fat and improvement of functional capacity of women over 50 years old and there was difference according to age only on the body composition variables.
Comparison of instrumental methods for color change assessment of Giomer resins

Objectives The aim of this study was to compare the color change of the Giomer resin composite (Beautifil-Bulk) by using photographs obtained with a smartphone (iPhone 6S) associated with Adobe Photoshop software (digital method), with the spectrophotometric method (Vita Easyshade) after immersion in different pigment solutions. Materials and Methods Twenty resin composite samples with a diameter of 15.0 mm and thickness of 1.0 mm were confectioned in A2 color (n = 5). Photographs and initial color readings were performed with a smartphone and spectrophotometer, respectively. Then, samples were randomly divided and subjected to cycles of immersion in distilled water (control), açai, Coke, and tomato sauce, 3 times a day, 20 minutes for 7 days. Later, new photographs and color readings were taken. Results The analysis (2-way analysis of variance, Holm-Sidak, p < 0.05) demonstrated no statistical difference (p < 0.005) between the methods in all groups. Similar color changes were observed for all pigment solutions when using the spectrophotometric method. For the digital method, all color changes were clinically unacceptable, with distilled water and tomato sauce similar to each other and with statistical differences (p < 0.005) for Coke and açai. Conclusions Only the tomato sauce produced a color change above the acceptability threshold using both methods of color assessment. The spectrophotometric and digital methods produce different patterns of color change. According to our results, the spectrophotometric method is more recommended in color change assessment. This paper presents the synchronization of a class of hyperchaotic systems using a robust underactuated approach. The proposed scheme guarantees the convergence in finite time of the slave system trajectories to the master system based on Lyapunov theory. The main novelty of the method is its simplicity resulting from the underactuated strategy and its robustness due to the presence of disturbances in the stability analysis. Simulations are presented to show the performance of the proposed method and its advantages compared with another recent study in the literature. In addition, a secure communication example is considered to illustrate the simple application of the synchronizer.
Middle Electrode in a Vertical Transistor Structure Using an Sn Layer by Thermal Evaporation

We report a process for performing the middle electrode for a vertical field effect transistor (VOFET) by the evaporation ofa tin (Sn) layer. Bare aluminum oxide (Al2O3), obtained by anodization, and Al2O3covered with a polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA) layer were used as the gate dielectric. We measured the electrical resistance of Sn while the evaporation was carriedout to find the best condition to prepare the middle electrode, that is, good lateral conduction associated with openingsthat give permeability to the electric field in a vertical direction. This process showed that 55 nm Sn thick is suitable foruse in a VOFET, being easier to achieve optimal thickness when the Sn is evaporated onto PMMA than onto bare Al2O3. The addition of a PMMA layer on the Al2O3surface modifies the morphology of the Sn layer, resulting in a lowering of thethreshold voltage. The values of threshold voltage and electric field, VTH= − 8 V and ETH= 354.5 MV/m respectively, werecalculated using an Al2O3film 20 nm thick covered with a 14 nm PMMA layer as gate dielectric, while for bare Al2O3thesevalues were VTH= − 10 V and ETH= 500 MV/m.
