Background: Workers may be exposed to various types of occupational hazards at the same time, potentially increasing the risk of adverse health outcomes. The aim of this review was to analyze the effects of multiple occupational exposures and coexposures to chemical, biomechanical, and physical hazards on adverse health outcomes among agricultural workers. Methods: Articles published in English between 1990 and 2015 were identified using five popular databases and two complementary sources. The quality of the included publications was assessed using the methodology developed by the Effective Public Health Practice Project assessment tool for quantitative studies. Results: Fifteen articles were included in the review. Multiple chemical exposures were significantly associated with an increased risk of respiratory diseases, cancer, and DNA and cytogenetic damage. Multiple physical exposures seemed to increase the risk of hearing loss, whereas coexposures to physical and biomechanical hazards were associated with an increased risk of musculoskeletal disorders among agricultural workers. Conclusion: Few studies have explored the impact of multiple occupational exposures on the health of agricultural workers. A very limited number of studies have investigated the effect of coexposures among biomechanical, physical, and chemical hazards on occupational health, which indicates a need for further research in this area.

. This study investigates the contribution of customer knowledge to customer intention to adopt mobile banking by evaluating the interaction among knowledge, perceived risk and trust, and behavioral intentions. Analysis is conducted through structural equation modelling using SPSS and AMOS and data from 783 customers representing the seven largest banks in Vietnam. Our study is the first one to find the existence of the bidirectional perspective between objective and subjective knowledge. The study further shows that the attenuation effect in the heuristic-systematic model could be used to explain the stronger influence of objective knowledge on intention compered to subjective knowledge. Our findings suggest that customer knowledge, perceived risk and trust impact the intention of mobile banking users in different manners and to different degrees. Particularly, objective customer knowledge is the most influential predictor of mobile banking adoption. Having a greater understanding of these relationships can help firms in deciding the kind of intervention that is most likely to convince customers to adopt a service.

Many consumers are opting for online booking over traditional booking systems. Customers can actively seek out information about hotels and lodging services, as well as book rooms, at any time and from any location. Customers also feel more supported when they interact with virtual assistants or professionals. Recognizing this issue, several hotels have focused on improving their websites by incorporating aspects that encourage customers to book directly through the hotel’s website. The study’s goal is to discover what factors impact people’s decisions to book a hotel stay through the hotel’s website. Therefore, hotel managers and owners can make decisions to improve the hotel website to attract residents to Can Tho City. The factors are website quality, affective commitment, social presence, and e-trust that affect customers’ decision to book through the hotel website. The study uses quantitative methods to collect data from 180 residents living in Can Tho. Through data analysis on SPSS and Amos software, the research results show that three factors considered, namely website quality, affective commitment, and social presence, positively influence customers’ booking decisions. This finding also suggests that e-trust is less critical to residents in Can Tho City, different from what the study had predicted.

The effects of electrochemical chloride extraction were evaluated using different electrolytes and binders on cylindrical concretespecimens with a water/binder ratio of 0.4. Two-percent NaCl by weight of binder was added to the water as a chloride source duringconcrete casting. After the specimens were immersed in water for three months, direct current 0.5 A/m2 was applied to releaseapproximately 30% initial chloride. The use of intermittent mode during extraction process was more efficient in releasing chloridethan a continuous mode. After treatment, although the average remaining-chloride content was higher than threshold value, itscontent at the interface was only approximately 0.4%. The accumulation of alkaline ions around the embedded steel was noticeablebut the distribution of calcium ions showed as different tendency. The migration of ions from the electrolyte was insignificant. Thisdemonstrated the important role of internal ions in transferring the charge during extraction; simultaneously, the decomposition ortransformation of hydrated products is inevitable. After the treatment was stopped for four weeks, the half-cell potential of the steelreached to low-corrosion state.

The purpose of this study is to estimate residents’ Willingness to Pay (WTP) for the water quality improvement along To Lich river. A case study was implemented on six Hanoi’s districts locate along the river. The empirical results from a double-bounded dichotomous choice contingnet valuation method reveal that the expected annual mean WTP for improving the water quality was VND 202,560 per person (US $8.6). In bivariate probit model, we find that the variable health concern and income were statistically significant with positive sign. Meanwhile, the variable age appears to have negative effect on the WTP. This means that the respondents with health concerns and higher income would have more interests in the WTP and younger respondents tend to have higher willing to pay for the water quality improvement. This paper can provide useful information for sustainable water resource management in Vietnam.

NGUYEN, Hoai Nam,LE, Quoc Hoi,TRAN, Quang Bach,TRAN, Thi Hoang Mai,NGUYEN, Thi Hai Yen,NGUYEN, Thi Thuy Quynh Korea Distribution Science Association 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.6
The study examines direct and indirect impacts of organizational commitment on employee motivation through two mediating factors - opportunistic behavior and knowledge sharing - in Vietnamese enterprises. The samples were selected by the non-probability sampling method followed convenient sampling, relatively stratified by localities in Vietnam. The sample size was 636 employees in Vietnamese enterprises. The number of collected online questionnaires was 379, while the number of valid questionnaires was 329. In the direct survey, the number of distributed questionnaires was 750, while the number of collected questionnaires was 421 and the number of valid questionnaires was 307. The total number of valid questionnaires used for analysis was 636. The study used quantitative methods with structural equation modeling analysis. The results indicate that among the components of organizational commitment, normative commitment has both direct and indirect impacts on employee motivation through two mediating factors: opportunistic behavior and knowledge sharing. Meanwhile, affective commitment has only an indirect impact on employee motivation through these mediating factors. Continuance commitment has both direct and indirect impacts; however, it has only an indirect impact on employee motivation through opportunistic behavior. In addition, the results show opportunistic behavior has a negative impact on the knowledge sharing of employees in enterprises.

<P>In this paper, we investigated the influence of annealing conditions on magnetic properties, magnetocaloric effect, and critical parameters of Ni50Mn50−<I>x</I>Sn<I>x</I> ( <TEX>$x = 13$</TEX>, 13.5, and 14) alloy ribbons prepared by using the melt-spinning method. The ribbons were annealed at 1123 K for various times. A martensitic–austenitic (M–A) structural phase transformation was observed on both the as-quenched and annealed samples. Temperature of the M–A phase transition ( <TEX>$T_{M-A}$</TEX>) of the ribbons can be regulated in room temperature region by changing the annealing time. Maximum positive and negative magnetic entropy changes, <TEX>$\vert \Delta S_{m}\vert _{\mathrm {max}}$</TEX>, larger than 3 and 1 <TEX>$\text {J}\cdot \text {kg}^{-1}\cdot \text {K}^{-1}$</TEX>, respectively, were achieved on the Ni50Mn37Sn13 sample after annealing for 0.5 h. Critical parameters were determined to elucidate magnetic orders in the alloy. The obtained parameters are very close to those of the mean field theory of long-range ferromagnetic orders.</P>
