Ensuring Security in Cloud Computing : Challenges and Mitigation Strategies

This paper delves into the crucial need for robust security measures to protect web services from cyber threats that can compromise their availability, veracity, and privacy. The introduction highlights the inadequacy of existing solutions that are limited to specific use areas and emphasizes the importance of web services being able to respond effectively to assaults and incursions. The related work section discusses the research on web services that has primarily focused on modeling, design, and testing in light of more damaging threats. The methodology section outlines the penetration testing cycle for the SPARCI System, which includes testing for various types of attacks such as DOS, Brut Force Web, Brute Force SSH, Session Hijacking, DNS Spoofing, ARP poisoning, NoSQL Injection, and Memory dump. In this study, we have worked on DOS attacks, and the remaining will be targeted later in the future. The experimental setup includes the necessary instance, Linux system, Python packages, and installed software such as Burp Suite to perform the attack. The results section presents the findings of the penetration testing and the effectiveness of the mitigation strategies employed. The paper concludes that the proposed methodology can be used to identify vulnerabilities in web services and provide recommendations for their mitigation. The study highlights the importance of continuous monitoring and testing of web services to ensure their security and prevent cyber-attacks in terms of identifying and mitigating various vulnerabilities in the existing systems.as.

In this paper, we establish the log convexity and Turán type inequalities of extended (p, q)-beta functions. Likewise, we present the log-convexity, the monotonicity and Turán type inequalities for extended (p, q)-confluent hypergeometric function by utilizing the inequalities of extended (p, q)-beta functions.

Earthworm survey was conducted in the selected habitats of Koppal district (15°09′00″ to 16°03′30″) of Hyderabad- Karnataka region. Earthworms were collected from Holemudalapura, Matti Mudalapura, Shivapur, Nelogal, Taralkatti, Putakmari, Kurubanhal, Budakunti, Anegundi and Rampur. 8 genera and 14 species of earthworms were identified viz., Dichogaster bolaui, Dichogaster modigliani, Octochaetona albida, Octochaetona paliensis, Octochaetona parva and Octochaetona prashadi belonging to family OCTOCHAETIDAE; Lampito mauritii, Perionyx fulvus, Perionyx koboensis, Perionyx millardi, Polypheretima elongata thecomorph and Polypheretima elongata athecomorph belonging to family MEGASCOLICIDAE; Thatonia gracilis and Thatonia parva belonging to family OCNERODRILIDAE and Eudrilus eugeniae belonging to family EUDRILIDAE. The smallest being Thatonia gracilis having a length of 2–2.5 cm and diameter of 1–1.5 mm and largest being Eudrilus euginiae having length 26–27 cm and diameter 5–5.6 mm. Dichogaster bolaui, Lampito mauritii, Perionyx koboensis Perionyx millardi, Thatonia gracilis & Thatonia parva were found in the garbage. Dichogaster modigliani, Lampito mauritii, Octochaetona albida, Octochaetona paliensis, Octochaetona parva, Polypheretima elongata thecomorph were found near the bore-well sewage water. Eudrilus eugeniae, Perionyx millardi, Polyperetima elongata athecomorph, Thatonia parva and Octochaetona prashadi in the gutter. Perionyx koboensis was found in the irrigated land. Parameters like temperature, humidity were recorded and physicochemical analysis of the soil was carried out.
THE EXTENDED k-MITTAG-LEFFLER FUNCTION AND ITS PROPERTIES

In this present paper, our aim is to derive the extended k- Mittag-Leffler function by using the extended k-beta function (Mubeen et al. in J. math. anal. Volume 7 Issue 5(2016), 118-131.) and de- ne some integral representation this newly dened function. Also, we introduce the extended k-fractional derivative formula and show that the extended k-fractional derivative k-fractional of the k-Mittag-Leffler gives the extended k-Mittag-Leffler function.

Our aim in this present paper is to introduce some inequalities such as Chebeshev's inequality, log-convexity, Holder inequality etc. which involving the extended k-gamma and k-beta function recently introduced by Mubeen et al. (J. math. anal. Volume 7 Issue 5(2016), 118-131). The obtained inequalities for extended k-beta function are the generalization of inequalities of extended beta function recently proved by Mondal (J. Inequal. Appl. (2017) 2017:10). Also, these inequalities are the extended form of the some inequalities involving k-gamma and k-beta functions earlier proved by Rehman et al. (J. Inequal. Appl., 224(1): 2014).

Various extensions of the Euler’s beta function have, recently, been presented and investigated. Here, choosing to use a fully extended beta function, we introduce an extended hypergeometric function, an extended confluent hypergeometric function, and an extension of the Appell function F1. We, also, use the fully extended beta function to introduce an extended Riemann-Liouville type integral operator and investigate its associated formulas and generating relations. The results presented here, being very general, can be specialized to yield some known and new results.
A gas nanosensor unaffected by humidity

<P>The fabrication of a gas nanosensor for detecting ammonia gas in air that is unaffected by humidity is demonstrated. On functionalizing single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) networks with a precise amount of camphorsulfonic-acid-doped polyaniline (PANI(CSA)), the opposite electrical resistance responses of the CSA-doped PANI and SWNTs to humid air effectively canceled each other, thereby eliminating any effects of humidity during sensing experiments. The approach should be widely applicable for eliminating undesirable interferences for gas nanosensors. </P>
EXTENDED WRIGHT-BESSEL FUNCTION AND ITS PROPERTIES

In this present paper, our aim is to introduce an extended Wright-Bessel function $J^{{\lambda},{\gamma},c}_{{\alpha},q}(z)$ which is established with the help of the extended beta function. Also, we investigate certain integral transforms and generalized integration formulas for the newly defined extended Wright-Bessel function $J^{{\lambda},{\gamma},c}_{{\alpha},q}(z)$ and the obtained results are expressed in terms of Fox-Wright function. Some interesting special cases involving an extended Mittag-Leffler functions are deduced.
A NEW EXTENSION OF THE MITTAG-LEFFLER FUNCTION

Since Mittag-Leffler introduced the so-called Mittag-Leffler function in 1903, due to its usefulness and diverse applications, a variety and large number of its extensions (and generalizations) and variants have been presented and investigated. In this sequel, we aim to introduce a new extension of the Mittag-Leffler function by using a known extended beta function. Then we investigate ceratin useful properties and formulas associated with the extended Mittag-Leffler function such as integral representation, Mellin transform, recurrence relation, and derivative formulas. We also introduce an extended Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative to present a fractional derivative formula for a known extended Mittag-Leffler function, the result of which is expressed in terms of the new extended Mittag-Leffler functions.
