최근 LCD 모니터, Note PC, 가정용 게임기, Mobile Phone, MP3 등의 소형 전자 제품의 사용이 증가함에 따라 이들 전자제품의 전원 공급에 필요한 다양한 AC/DC 어댑터가 요구된다. AC/DC 어댑터는 밀폐형의 구조를 가지므로, 열적인 문제 때문에 용량과 사이즈가 제한되어 왔다. 하지만 최근에는 소형전자제품의 용량이 점차 증가하고, 더불어 소비자의 휴대성 및 심미적 요구에 부응하기 위하여 소형 및 경량의 고밀도 AC/DC Adapter를 개발하여야 한다. 이를 위해서 높은 수준의 회로 설계 및 방열 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 Laptop PC에 적용되는 85W급 AC/DC Adapter용 고밀도전원을 개발하고 실험으로 검증하였다.

<P>The leak-before-break (LBB) concept was usually applied to design and estimate the piping system in nuclear power plant, which is based on the fracture resistance (J-R) curves of nuclear real pipe. However, the real pipe test is costly and difficult. Instead of the real pipe test, the J-R curves of standard specimens suggested in the ASTM El 820 were used. Nonetheless, the J-R curves obtained from the standard specimens are too conservative, owing to the differences in specimen geometries and loading configurations (constraint effect). Thus, in this study the equivalent stress gradient (curved ESG) specimens were developed to evaluate the J-R curves of nuclear real pipes (SA-312 TP304L) precisely. The curved ESG specimens were designed to show the same crack-opening stress gradients as those of the real pipes at the driving force J = J(Ic). The J(Ic) for stainless steel SA-312 TP304L was obtained by the J-R tests on standard compact tension (CT) specimens. Comparison of the J-R curves obtained from the curved ESG specimens and those obtained from the real pipes show that the curved ESG specimen can be used in the LBB concept to design and estimate the piping systems. The turnout system is typical railway facility to be in the way of conventional railway line"s speed - up. The KNR(Korean National Railroad) has a speed limit regulation(130㎞/h) for the passing the turnout to guarantee a safety. This research has been performed to confirm the propriety of this regulation by using experimental and analytical way before it was carried out. The reasonableness of the speed - limit regulation was judged base on the several experiments. It was proved that the regulation was not useless as it had been regarded and very important guide at least up to now.

Rice straw was treated with 3.0% anhydrous ammonia and 1.5% and 3.0% aquous ammonia of the weight of air dry rice straw in a wire mesh silo and stack, and chemical composition and in vitro digestibilities were compared with anhydrous and aquous ammonia treated rice straw. Crude protein content of ammonia treated rice straw was increased by 2-3 fold as compared with untreated rice straw. Neutral detergent fiber (NDF) was decreased significantly (p $lt; 0.05) but acid detergent fiber (ADF) and cellulose content were not different from untreated and ammonia treated rice straw. Chemical composition of rice straw treated with anhydrous and aquous ammonia was not different. Of the total nitrogen added as 3% anhydrous and 3% aquous ammonia, 25.1-38.9% and 26.3-58.3% were retained in the rice straw and 61.1-74.9% and 41.7-73.7% were lost in this experiment. Dry matter, NDF, ADF and cellulose digestibilities of rice straw were increased significantly by ammonia treatment (p $lt; 0.01) and improvement of digestibility was higher in rice straw treated with aquous ammonia as compared with anhydrous ammonia. Digestibility of rice straw treated with 3.0% aquous ammonia was higher than that with 1.5% aquous ammonia (p $lt;0.05).
