In our aging society, medication management is crucial to decrease the costs associated with medication nonadherence and ensure adequate symptom management among older adults. This project focused on the type of medication education utilized by acute care registered nurses (RNs) and the barriers associated with imparting such education. The results suggest that the challenges faced by RNs in imparting such education and the methods of medication management are not fully addressed in the education system for these nurses.

Dieser Beitrag besteht aus zwei Teilen: Im ersten Teil wird die allgemeine Lage des Deutschunterrichts in Japan vorgestellt. Danach werden Überlegungen zur Anwendung fiktionaler Texte zur Förderung kommunikativer Kompetenz in der heutigen Situation in Japan angestellt. Dabei wird der Schwerpunkt darauf gelegt, wie fiktionale Texte zur Überwindung des Widerspruchs zwischen geringem Fremdsprachwissen und relativ komplexem Weltwissen bei Deutschlernenden, wie es in Japan der Fall ist, eingesetzt werden können.

Comparison of Positioning Errors between QZSS and RTK-GNSS in Combine Robots Traveling Autonomously

In order for agricultural robots to travel autonomously, positioning information is indispensable. Autonomous traveling by combine robots has been already succeed by Real-Time-Kinematic Global Navigation Satellite System (RTK-GNSS). On the other hand, the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) is regionally constructed in Japan. The QZSS will get more accurate positioning data by Centimeter Level Augmentation Service without the base station. In this study, the positioning accuracy of the QZSS is measured and compared with that of RTK-GNSS in the combine robot travelling autonomously. The results indicated that the combine robots could travel along the target path autonomously by QZSS.
Testing the Hypothesis on the Cointegrating Vector When Data May Have a Near Unit Root

This paper considers the size distortion problem when testing the hypothesis on the cointegrating vector. The test on the cointegrating vector tends to be erroneously rejected. We propose constructing a valid confidence interval by application of the Bonferroni’s inequality, and compare the performance to another alternative procedure.
