The effect of interaction between La2AlCoO6 and CuCl2 on ethane oxychlorination

        Lirong Yang,Ruisheng Hu,Huan Li,Yun Jia,Qihua Zhou,Hongye Wang 한국공업화학회 2017 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.56 No.-

Supported perovskite-type catalyst La2AlCoO6–CuCl2–g-Al2O3 was synthesized by impregnation–sol– gel–mechanical-mixing methods and characterized by means of XRD, BET, H2-TPR, XPS, O2-TPD and TGDSC techniques. It is found that there is a strong interaction between La2AlCoO6 and CuCl2. The catalyst La2AlCoO6–CuCl2–g-Al2O3 reduces the reduction activation energy of Cu2+! Cu+ and increases the amount of surface adsorbed oxygen species, which are advantageous to the transition of redox group Cu2 +/Cu+, therefore promote the catalytic performance. The catalyst La2AlCoO6–CuCl2–g-Al2O3 shows a superior catalytic activity for ethane oxychlorination with the C2H6 conversion of 100% and the C2H3Cl selectivity to 43.8%.

Association of multiple anthropometric indices with in 944,760 elderly Chinese people

        Lirong Dong,Yuanyuan Wang,Jinshui Xu,Yang Zhou,Guiju Sun,Dakang Ji,Haijian Guo,Baoli Zhu 한국역학회 2023 Epidemiology and Health Vol.45 No.-

OBJECTIVES: The aims of this study were to update the latest data on the prevalence of hypertension (HTN) in the elderly Chinese population and to assess relationships between new anthropometric indices and HTN. METHODS: Data were obtained from the Basic Public Health Service (BPHS) survey for Jiangsu Province, China. A total of 944,760 people aged 65 years and older were included in this study. Blood pressure was measured by trained investigators. Body weight, body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), waist-to-height ratio (WtHR), conicity index (COI), body roundness index (BRI), and a body shape index (ABSI) were included in the analysis as anthropometric indices. Logistic regression analysis and restricted cubic splines were used to evaluate the association of anthropometric indices with HTN. RESULTS: The prevalence of HTN among elderly residents of Jiangsu Province was 64.7% (95% confidence interval, 64.6 to 64.8). After adjusting for multiple covariates, all anthropometric indices except ABSI showed significant non-linear positive dose-response associations with HTN across sex (pnonlinear<0.001). Among participants with BMI <28 kg/m2, abnormal weight, WC, WtHR, BRI, COI, and ABSI were positively associated with HTN. CONCLUSIONS: The prevalence of HTN in the elderly in Jiangsu Province is gradually increasing. It is necessary to consider the combination of ABSI and COI with BMI for screening elderly individuals for HTN in follow-up prospective studies.

Whole transcriptome mapping reveals the lncRNA regulatory network of TFP5 treatment in diabetic nephropathy

        Luo Hongyan,Yang Lirong,Zhang Guoqing,Bao Xi,Ma Danna,Li Bo,Cao Li,Cao Shilu,Liu Shunyao,Bao Li,E Jing,Zheng Yali 한국유전학회 2024 Genes & Genomics Vol.46 No.5

Background TFP5 is a Cdk5 inhibitor peptide, which could restore insulin production. However, the role of TFP5 in diabetic nephropathy (DN) is still unclear. Objective This study aims to characterize the transcriptome profiles of mRNA and lncRNA in TFP5-treated DN mice to mine key lncRNAs associated with TFP5 efficacy. Methods We evaluated the role of TFP5 in DN pathology and performed RNA sequencing in C57BL/6J control mice, C57BL/6J db/db model mice, and TFP5 treatment C57BL/6J db/db model mice. The differentially expressed lncRNAs (DElncRNAs) and mRNAs (DEmRNAs) were analyzed. WGCNA was used to screen hub-gene of TFP5 in treatment of DN. Results Our results showed that TFP5 therapy ameliorated renal tubular injury in DN mice. In addition, compared with the control group, the expression profile of lncRNAs in the model group was significantly disordered, while TFP5 alleviated the abnormal expression of lncRNAs. A total of 67 DElncRNAs shared among the three groups, 39 DElncRNAs showed a trend of increasing in the DN group and decreasing after TFP treatment, while the remaining 28 showed the opposite trend. DElncRNAs were enriched in glycosphingolipid biosynthesis signaling pathways, NF-κB signaling pathways, and complement activation signaling pathways. There were 1028 up-regulated and 1117 down-regulated DEmRNAs in the model group compared to control group, and 123 up-regulated and 153 down-regulated DEmRNAs in the TFP5 group compared to the model group. The DEmRNAs were involved in PPAR and MAPK signaling pathway. We confirmed that MSTRG.28304.1 is a key DElncRNA for TFP5 treatment of DN. TFP5 ameliorated DN maybe by inhibiting MSTRG.28304.1 through regulating the insulin resistance and PPAR signaling pathway. The qRT-PCR results confirmed the reliability of the sequencing data through verifying the expression of ENSMUST00000211209, MSTRG.31814.5, MSTRG.28304.1, and MSTRG.45642.14. Conclusion Overall, the present study provides novel insights into molecular mechanisms of TFP5 treatment in DN. Background TFP5 is a Cdk5 inhibitor peptide, which could restore insulin production. Asymmetric reduction of chloroacetophenones to produce chiral alcohols with microorganisms

        Zhimin Ou,Jianping Wu,Lirong Yang,Peilin Cen 한국화학공학회 2008 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.25 No.1

Four strains of yeast with reduction activity of chloroacetophenones were screened, in which Saccharomyces cerevisiae B5 showed best reduction activity and stereoselectivity. High optical purity (R)-2'-chloro-1-phenylethanol can be obtained with Saccharomyces cerevisiae B5 as biocatalyst. The influence of several co-substrates on the enantiometric excess (ee%) and yield of (R)-2'-chloro-1-phenylethanol was evaluated. 5% (v/v) ethanol is optimal cosubstrate for (R)-2'-chloro-1-phenylethanol formation. The optimal bioconversion conditions of 2'-chloroacetophenone catalyzed by Saccharomyces cerevisiae B5 are as follows: pH 8.0, 25 oC and 24 h. The yield and the enantiometric excess of (R)-2'-chloro-1-phenylethanol can both reach more than 99% with 10.75 g/l Saccharomyces cerevisiae B5 (the cell dry weight) and 1 g/l 2'-chloroacetophenone used in the biotransformation.

Preparation of High-purity 1,3-Diacylglycerol Using Performanceenhanced Lipase Immobilized on Nanosized Magnetite Particles

        Jiong-feng Zhao,Tao-Wang,Jianping Lin,Lirong Yang,Mian-bin Wu 한국생물공학회 2019 Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering Vol.24 No.2

Early research on the nutritional value of 1,3- diacylglycerols (1,3-DAGs) has resulted in a significant interest in their synthesis. 1,3-DAGs can be produced chemically and biologically. In this work, a regioselective lipase from Rhizopus oryzae was efficiently immobilized on nanosized magnetite particles (NSM) in an oriented way, resulting in significant enhancement of activity. The specific hydrolytic and esterification activities of the immobilized enzyme were 1,660% and 260% of those of the free enzyme, respectively. The immobilized enzyme was then used to catalyze the esterification of oleic acid with glycerol in a solvent-free system for preparation of 1,3-DAG in a 1 L reactor. The catalytic process was studied in detail, the final concentration of 1,3-DAG reached >76% under the optimal condition when the molar ratio of oleic acid to glycerol was 2.8:1. The regioselectivities of free and immobilized enzyme were both >97%. The immobilized enzyme was reused for 55 cycles with only ~30% activity loss at 30ºC. The purity of 1,3-DAG was up to ~95% (w/w) after a simple purification step with the recovery ratio ~85%. This is the first report of efficient 1,3-DAG purification by neutralization without acyl migration.

DP-LinkNet: A convolutional network for historical document image binarization

( Wei Xiong ),( Xiuhong Jia ),( Dichun Yang ),( Meihui Ai ),( Lirong Li ),( Song Wang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2021 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.15 No.5

Document image binarization is an important pre-processing step in document analysis and archiving. The state-of-the-art models for document image binarization are variants of encoder-decoder architectures, such as FCN (fully convolutional network) and U-Net. Despite their success, they still suffer from three limitations: (1) reduced feature map resolution due to consecutive strided pooling or convolutions, (2) multiple scales of target objects, and (3) reduced localization accuracy due to the built-in invariance of deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs). To overcome these three challenges, we propose an improved semantic segmentation model, referred to as DP-LinkNet, which adopts the D-LinkNet architecture as its backbone, with the proposed hybrid dilated convolution (HDC) and spatial pyramid pooling (SPP) modules between the encoder and the decoder. Extensive experiments are conducted on recent document image binarization competition (DIBCO) and handwritten document image binarization competition (H-DIBCO) benchmark datasets. Results show that our proposed DP-LinkNet outperforms other state-of-the-art techniques by a large margin. Our implementation and the pre-trained models are available at https://github.com/beargolden/DP-LinkNet.

Chromatographic Behavior of Proteins on Stationary Phase with Aminocarboxy Ligand

        Li, Rong,Ju, Ming-Yang,Chen, Bin,Sun, Qing-Yuan,Chen, Guo-Liang,Shi, Mei,Wang, Xiao-Gang,Zheng, Jian-Bin Korean Chemical Society 2011 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.32 No.2

An aminocarboxy aspartic acid-bonded silica (Asp-Silica) stationary phase was synthesized using L-aspartic acid as ligand and silica gel as matrix. The standard protein mixtures were separated with prepared chromatographic column. The effects of solution pH, salt concentration and metal ion on the retention of proteins were examined, and also compared with traditional iminodiacetic acid-bonded silica (IDA-Silica) column. The results show that Asp-Silica column exhibited an excellent separation performance for proteins. The retention of proteins on Asp-Silica stationary phase was consistent with electrostatic characteristic of cation-exchange. The stationary phase displayed typical metal chelate property after fixing copper ion (II) on Asp-Silica. Under competitive eluting condition, protein mixtures were effectively isolated. Asp ligand showed better ion-exchange and metal chelating properties as compared with IDA ligand.
