The purpose of this study is to develop the lighting units for workspace and to propose their application method at the architectural design stage The lighting unit is one of the components of a workspace integrated unit, which can be defined as the planning unit satisfying the environmental comfort criteria of workspace According to the survey of current domestic and foreign office buildings, the luminaire layout types could be classified into the line, spot and square type Various simulation cases were set up considering these layout types, architectural modules, and luminaire types Finally, forty-four lighting units were developed by RADIANCE simulation With these lighting units, the designer would be able to easily predict how his decision about architectural modules influences the lighting design, and can consider other alternatives

The LCF properties for R=0 as tension-tension and R=-1 as tension-compression were examined in DA alloy718. While the hysteresis loops composed of ?ε_(t), ?ε_(p) and ?σ were figured with similaity in both of R=0 and R=-1, the loops of R=0 were continuely going down along the stress axis during cyclic fatigue progressing. It was caused by Bauschinger effect, which includes a tendancy for stress recovering as an amount of compression stress. The phenomena of cyclic softening in both of R=0 and R=1 seem to be caused by planar slip of dislocations, which was accompanied by shearing the γ'/γ" precipitates during the cyclic fatigue test.

We present a case of perforating granuloma annulare which appeared as multiple small papular lesions with central umbilication on the dorsum of both foot and sides of foot, The patient was a 12 year-old female child who had slightly tender lesions of one month's duration. Histologic study showed perforation of the epiderrnis and release of the abnormal necrobiotic material transepiderrnally. The epidermal perforation communicated with area of granuloma annulare in the dermis that consist of necrobiotic collagen surrounded by palisading mononucler phagocytes in the dermis. All the lesions resolved spontaneously with a slight hyperpigmentation in 4 months. She also had erythematous tender nodules, which diagnosed as erythema nodosum, on both shins. The lesions responded to potassium iodide 1.0g for 2 weeks.
Mechanical Properties of Aluminum/Polypropylene/Aluminum Sandwich Sheets

The aluminum/polypropylene/aluminum (Al/PP/Al) sandwich sheets have been developed for potential application of these materials for automotive body panels in future high performance automobiles with significant weight reduction. The tensile properties of the Al/PP/Al sandwich sheets were examined in the present study as well as those of the aluminum skin and the polypropylene core at room and elevated temperatures. It was found that the sandwich sheet with hard skin and low volume fraction of the polypropylene core showed the highest tensile strength, whereas that with soft skin and high volume fraction of the polypropylene core showed the lowest strength. The sandwich sheet with hard skin showed much smaller work hardening rate than that with soft skin. All sandwich sheets showed serration phenomena on their flow curves. However, the magnitude of serration was significantly diminished in the sandwich sheet with high volume fraction of polypropylene core. The tensile strength of the sandwich sheet was compared with that calculated from the rule of mixture based on the tensile strengths of the aluminum skin and the polypropylene core. The results showed that there were good agreements between the experimentally obtained values and the calculated values. From the tensile tests at elevated temperatures, it was found that the tensile strength of the sandwich sheet with high volume fraction of polypropylene core was more sensitive to temperature than that with low volume fraction of polypropylene core. During tensile deformation of the sandwich sheet, it was found that fracture first took place in the aluminum skin and then in the polypropylene core and at the interface. The interface strength was found to be strong enough to avoid premature debonding at the interface before fracture took place in the entire sandwich sheet.
