Eccrine porocarcinoma is a rare malignant tumor. Immunostain for S-100 protein, in addition to epithelial membrane antigen (EMA) and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), is described to be useful in the diagnosis. Herein, we report a case of eccrine porocarcinoma with immunostain for S-100protein which was useful in diagnoses of recurrent and metastatic lesions. The primary lesion in the left inguinal region was excised, but it recurred on the same site 14months after the resection. The recurrent lesion showed epithelioid melanocytic findings. Three months later, metastasis to the lungs was found. Since these recurrent and metastatic lesions were dedifferentiated, typical histologic findings of eccrine porocarcinoma disappeared in biopsied specimens. Nevertheless, scattered immunoreactive cells for S-100 protein were maintained in these dedifferentiated lesions. S-100 protein positive cells could be an aid to diagnose, even if histologic findings of recurrent and metastatic lesions have changed by dedifferentiation.
Intraductal Lipid-Rich Carcinoma of the Breast with a Component of Glycogen-Rich Carcinoma
Yoshitaka Kurisu,Motomu Tsuji,Yuro Shibayama,Yuko Takahashi,Takehiro Nohara 한국유방암학회 2012 Journal of breast cancer Vol.15 No.1
We report a rare case of intraductal lipid-rich carcinoma of the breast with a component of glycogen-rich carcinoma. An impalpable tumor that was revealed by mammography and magnetic resonance imaging was excised. Histologic examination showed vacuolated neoplastic cells in the mammary ducts, and electron microscopy confirmed lipid droplets in the cytoplasm. The coexistence of glycogen-rich carcinoma was shown. Lipid-rich carcinoma that is coexistent with glycogen-rich carcinoma is rare, and most lipid-rich carcinomas are invasive. Intraductal lipid-rich carcinoma is difficult to detect without echography or mammography.
Study on Online 3D Environment Construction for Teleoperation
Masamitsu Kurisu,Ryo Kodama 제어로봇시스템학회 2014 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2014 No.10
On remote operation of a robot, it is important to provide the situation around the robot for the operator intelligibly and quickly. This paper presents an online 3D environment map construction by using a robot operated remotely. The environment data is acquired with only a stereo camera mounted on the robot. The 3D environment map is constructed incrementally from the data by online processing. Specifically, the map is provided by polygon-meshes with color, which are generated from environment point clouds. As for online construction of the map, the system has to execute divided process modules in parallel, in order to decentralize processing loads. This paper explains the system architecture to execute the process modules in parallel, and the details of the hardware in which the constructed system is implemented. Implementation of the system to a small mobile robot is also described. Feasibility of our system will be discussed on experimental results of 3D map construction in an imitated environment.
Development of a Tiny Impact Device for Hammering Inspection
Masamitsu Kurisu,Hiroaki Kuwahara 제어로봇시스템학회 2018 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2018 No.10
This paper presents a development of a tiny impact device which can be mounted on a small robot for hammering inspection in a narrow place. The developed device utilizes magnetic forces of permanent magnets. The main part of the device consists of three permanent magnets. When a movable magnet is placed between two magnets fixed so as to attract each other, the movable magnet is rapidly drawn to one of the fixed magnets. The device makes the movable magnet to be adsorbed by changing the magnetic force balance and takes out an impact force generated at the moment of adsorption as a hammering force. The size and weight of the device are 20(depth)×17(width)×30(height)mm and 25.6g. Also, the device can generate continuous impact with low-power consumption. First, the basic principle of generating an impact with permanent magnets is explained. Then, the structure and operation flow of the developed device are described in detail. Performance of the device estimated theoretically is discussed. The availability of the device is verified by a hammering test.

A 38-year-old female with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) initiated belimumab treat- ment. One month later, she presented with a reddish painful swelling on her right lower leg. She was treated with ceftriaxone and vancomycin. However, novel erythematous papules and indurated nodules appeared on both her lower legs. Skin biopsy revealed microabscess formation with mixed cell granuloma surrounded by inf lammatory cell infiltration within the dermis with subcutaneous fat tissue. A large number of acid-fast bacilli were observed with Ziehl–Neelsen staining. DNA sequencing of both the hsp65 and the 16S rRNA se- quences showed a 100% match with the corresponding region of Mycobacterium hae- mophilum . Mycobacterial culture revealed satellite growth enhancement on Middlebrook 7H11 agar plates around a paper strip containing hemin. She was treated with levof loxacin, rifabutin, and ethambutol. Within 13 months, her cutaneous lesions improved markedly without any side effects. The B cell-targeted biologic belimumab, a fully humanized IgG1γ monoclonal antibody that inactivates B lymphocyte stimulator, has been considered to be beneficial for active SLE. However, this therapy could increase the risk for the development of biologic therapy-associated mycobacterial infections, both tuberculosis and nontubercu- lous mycobacteria infections.
