In this study, we investigated the optimal conditions for 3D structure printing of alternative fats that have the textural properties of lard using beeswax (BW)-based oleogel by a statistical analysis. Products printed with over 15% BW oleogel at 50% and 75% infill level (IL) showed high printing accuracy with the lowest dimensional printing deviation for the designed model. The hardness, cohesion, and adhesion of printed samples were influenced by BW concentration and infill level. For multi-response optimization, fixed target values (hardness, adhesiveness, and cohesiveness) were applied with lard printed at 75% IL. The preparation parameters obtained as a result of multiple reaction prediction were 58.9% IL and 16.0% BW, and printing with this oleogel achieved fixed target values similar to those of lard. In conclusion, our study shows that 3D printing based on the BW oleogel system produces complex internal structures that allow adjustment of the textural properties of the printed samples, and BW oleogels could potentially serve as an excellent replacement for fat.
Peritoneal lymphomatosis with pleural and peritoneal effusions in a dog: a case report

Peritoneal lymphomatosis (PL) is a rare lymphoid neoplasm in dogs. A nine-year-old spayed female Labrador retriever presented with pleural and peritoneal effusions. Diagnostic imaging revealed diffuse nodular to massive lesions in the mesentery, particularly in the caudal abdomen. While the superficial lymph nodes did not show significant changes, enlargement was observed in the intra-abdominal and intra-thoracic lymph nodes. Cytological and flow cytometric analyses of the effusion indicated the presence of large B-cell lymphocytes expressing CD3-/CD5-/CD14-/CD21-/CD34+/CD45+/CD79a+. PL was diagnosed using diagnostic imaging and fluid analysis. This case report highlights the clinical and diagnostic features of canine PL.

Objective The Temperament Evaluation of Memphis, Pisa, Paris, and San Diego Autoquestionnaire (TEMPS-A) has been validated in more than 30 languages and is noted for its broad application in research and clinical settings. This study presents the first attempt to examine the reliability and validity of the TEMPS-A in Korea.Methods A total of 540 non-clinical participants completed the Korean TEMPS-A, which was adapted from the original English version via a comprehensive translation procedure. Reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s α, and associations between temperaments were examined using Spearman’s correlation coefficient. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was performed, and differences in TEMPS-A scores between the gender- and age-based groups were examined using Kruskal-Wallis analysis.Results The Korean TEMPS-A exhibited excellent internal consistency (0.70–0.91) and significant correlations between subscales. EFA resulted in a two-factor structure: Factor I (depressive, cyclothymic, irritable, and anxious) and Factor II (hyperthymic). Gender and age group differences were observed.Conclusion Overall, our results suggest that TEMPS-A is a reliable and valid measure of affective temperaments for the Korean population. This study opens new possibilities for further research on affective temperaments and their related traits.

인공위성 탑재 컴퓨터는 위성 운영의 핵심 서브 시스템으로, 탑재 컴퓨터에 내장되는 OBS (On-Board Software) 의 복잡도가 증하고, 새로운 프로세서가 지속적으로 채택됨에 따라 재사용 가능한 소프트웨어의 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어의 재활용성을 제고하는 방법 중 하나로 Java VM과 유사한 가상머신인 SpaceApp VM을 제안하고 이를 구현하였다. SpaceApp 은 SpaceApp VM이 실행시키는 프로그램으로 Java의 WORA (Write Once Read Anywhere)의 개념을 위성 분야에 적용시킨 것이다. 본 연구에서는 SpaceApp VM의 설계와 개발에 대하여 설명한다.
Hemostatic Dysfunction in a Dog with Mammary Gland Carcinoma

Hypercoagulability is the most common coagulopathy seen in dogs with neoplasia, whereas a hypocoagulable state is relatively rare. A 16-year-old spayed female miniature Schnauzer presented with bilateral epistaxis, bilateral hindlimb swelling, and lameness. Previously, the dog was diagnosed with inter- mediate grade solid carcinoma after mastectomy, and then showed generalized ecchymoses on the abdomen and bilateral hindlimbs on presentation. Labora- tory tests revealed a hypocoagulable state, including thrombocytopenia, hypo- fibrinogenemia, and delayed prothrombin and activated partial thromboplastin time. Thromboelastography demonstrated a prolonged K time with a decreased alpha angle and low maximal amplitude, reflecting a decrease in clot strength. The hypocoagulable state of disseminated intravascular coagulopathy was spec- ulated based on the presence of an underlying tumor, clinical symptoms, and laboratory results of the hypocoagulable state. This case shows the incidence of hemostatic dysfunction as a paraneoplastic syndrome in a dog with mammary gland carcinoma.

<P>The mechanism of the C–H bond activation of hydrocarbons by a nonheme chromium(IV) oxo complex bearing an N-methylated tetraazamacrocyclic cyclam (TMC) ligand, [Cr<SUP>IV</SUP>(O)(TMC)(Cl)]<SUP>+</SUP> (<B>2</B>), has been investigated experimentally and theoretically. In experimental studies, reaction rates of <B>2</B> with substrates having weak C–H bonds were found to depend on the concentration and bond dissociation energies of the substrates. A large kinetic isotope effect value of 60 was determined in the oxidation of dihydroanthracene (DHA) and deuterated DHA by <B>2</B>. These results led us to propose that the C–H bond activation reaction occurs via a H-atom abstraction mechanism, in which H-atom abstraction of substrates by <B>2</B> is the rate-determining step. In addition, formation of a chromium(III) hydroxo complex, [Cr<SUP>III</SUP>(OH)(TMC)(Cl)]<SUP>+</SUP> (<B>3</B>), was observed as a decomposed product of <B>2</B> in the C–H bond activation reaction. The Cr<SUP>III</SUP>OH product was characterized unambiguously with various spectroscopic methods and X-ray crystallography. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations support the experimental observations that the C–H bond activation by <B>2</B> does not occur via the conventional H-atom-abstraction/oxygen-rebound mechanism and that <B>3</B> is the product formed in this C–H bond activation reaction. DFT calculations also propose that <B>2</B> may have some Cr<SUP>III</SUP>O<SUP>•–</SUP> character. The oxidizing power of <B>2</B> was then compared with that of a chromium(III) superoxo complex bearing the identical TMC ligand, [Cr<SUP>III</SUP>(O<SUB>2</SUB>)(TMC)(Cl)]<SUP>+</SUP> (<B>1</B>), in the C–H bond activation reaction. By performing reactions of <B>1</B> and <B>2</B> with substrates under identical conditions, we were able to demonstrate that the reactivity of <B>2</B> is slightly greater than that of <B>1</B>. DFT calculations again support this experimental observation, showing that the rate-limiting barrier for the reaction with <B>2</B> is slightly lower than that of <B>1</B>.</P><P>The C−H bond activation of hydrocarbons by nonheme chromium(IV) oxo and chromium(III) superhydroxo complexes, [Cr<SUP>IV</SUP>(O)(TMC)(Cl)]<SUP>+</SUP> and [Cr<SUP>III</SUP>(O<SUB>2</SUB>)(TMC)(Cl)]<SUP>+</SUP>, has been investigated experimentally and theoretically. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the muscle activity ratio of the lower limb according to changes in straight leg raise (SLR) test angles on hamstring muscle shortening during squat exercises. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Methods: The subjects were 14 healthy adults who were informed of and agreed to the method and purpose of the study. The participants were classified into SLR groups according to two angles (over $80^{\circ}$ or under $80^{\circ}$) assessed using the SLR tests. After training and practicing the wall squat posture to be applied to the experiment, electromyography (EMG) was used to measure changes in muscle activity during the performance of a wall squat. After stretching, a sequence of pre-stretch tests were performed again, and the active and passive SLR tests were also reconducted; thereafter, a wall squat was performed again by attaching EMG electrodes. The EMG results before and after stretching were compared. Results: The muscle activity of the vastus lateralis oblique muscle increased in both groups. The muscle activity of the vastus medialis oblique muscle decreased in over both group. Rectus femorus activity increased in the under 80-degree groups but decreased in the over 80-degree group. The muscle activity of the biceps femoris muscle decreased after stretching in the over 80-degree group and increased in the under 80-degree group, and the semitendinosus muscle activity after stretching was decreased. The quadriceps-to-hamstring muscle (Q:H) ratio before and after stretching between groups showed that the hamstring muscle ratio decreased after stretching in both groups. Conclusions: The results of this study showed that the Q:H ratio before and after stretching between groups was not significantly different.

Objective Mood instability (MI) is a clinically significant trait associated with psychiatric disorders. However, there are no concise measurements to evaluate MI. The initial Mood Instability Questionnaire-Trait (MIQ-T) was developed to fill this gap. The current study aimed to create a short form of MIQ-T (MIQ-T-SF) that measures MI with high validity and reliability in the Korean general population.Methods Of the 59 items in the MIQ-T, 17 items were chosen for the MIQ-T-SF following the factor analysis process. In total, 540 participants completed the MIQ-T-SF. Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s omega were used to evaluate reliability. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used to determine construct validity. Concurrent validity was confirmed via comparisons with Personality Assessment Inventory-Borderline Features Scale. Measurement invariance across gender and age groups was confirmed before analyzing differences in scores using Kruskal-Wallis test.Results The MIQ-T-SF displayed expected correlations and high internal consistency (α=0.71–0.90, Ωt=0.72–0.92). Using EFA and CFA, a five-factor structure was confirmed. Measurement invariance was supported, and gender differences were observed.Conclusion The MIQ-T-SF is an accurate and reliable method to detect MI in the Korean general population. The study’s results offer new perspectives for future studies on MI.
