        동구 이준형의 저항의 삶과 시문학

        李濬衡(1875~1942)은 상해임시정부 초대 국무령을 지낸 李相龍(1858 ~1932)의 외아들이며 독립운동가이다. 그의 공로가 대한민국 정부로부터 인정을 받아 1990년 건국훈장 애국장이 추서되었다. 본 논문은 부친에 의해 가려진 이준형의 삶을 드러내고, 그가 남긴 시를 통해 미의식을 고찰하였다. 이준형은 부친을 따라 국내외에서 의병과 계몽, 독립운동을 했다. 특히 만주에서의 독립운동 시기는 일제의 핍박 속에 배고픔과 추위를 견디며 살아가는 자체가 저항의 의미를 지닌다고 할 것이다. 귀국 후에는 일제로부터 갖은 수모를 받으면서 『석주유고』 간행을 마무리하였고, 自靖함으로써 끝까지 일제를 인정하지 않은 저항의 삶을 살았다. 그의 시는 총 26제 41수가 문집에 실려 있다. 모두 만년에 도곡에 은둔하며 지은 시들이다. 그전에 지은 시도 분명히 있었을 것이나, 지금으로서는 상고할 길이 없으며 오랜 망명 생활에 모두 유실된 것으로 추측할 수밖에 없다. 그는 시에서 의리나 도리에서 비롯되는 정취와 세속의 음란한 말씨가 없는 산뜻한 음운을 강조하였다. 실제 그의 시를 살펴보면, 대부분 이러한 면을 충실히 실천하고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 특히 평범한 일상에서 아름다움을 찾아내는 심미관이 탁월하였다. Lee Jun-hyeong(1875~1942), the only son of Lee Sang-yong(1858~ 1932), who served as the first state secretary of the Shanghai Provisional Government, is also an independence activist. His contribution was recognized by the Korean government and was awarded the Order of Merit for National Foundation in 1990. This paper reveals the hidden life of Lee Jun-hyeong and examines his aesthetic consciousness through his poems. Following his father, Lee Jun-hyeong performed righteous army, enlightenment, and independence movements at home and abroad. In particular, during the period of the independence movement in Manchuria, living with the hunger and cold amid the persecution of the Japanese imperialism itself has a meaning of resistance. After returning to Korea, he ended his publication of ‘Seokju Yugo’ under the humiliation of Japanese colonial rule and killed himself, living a life of resistance that refused to recognize Japan until the end. A total of 41 volumes of his poems are included in the collection, all of which were written in seclusion in Dogok in their later years. There must be some poems written before that, but there is no way to appeal for now because one can t help but assume that they all were lost in exile. In his poems, he emphasized the spirit of loyalty or morality, and a refreshing phonology without the worldly obscene words. If you look at his poems in practice, you can see that most of them are faithfully practicing these aspects. Especially, the aesthetic view of finding beauty in everyday life was outstanding.

        이단으로 구성된 CMOS 전력증폭기 설계

        본 논문에서는 CMOS 0.18-μm 공정을 이용하여 1.75 GHz 대역에서 동작하는 이단으로 구성된 CMOS 전력증폭기를 설계하였다. 무선통신시스템에 적합한 전력증폭기 설계를 위하여 ADS 모의실험을 통하여 전력이득, 출력 전력, 효율을 각각 28 dB, 27 dBm, 45 %로 설계를 하였다. 실제 제작된 전력증폭기의 성능은 전력 이득, 출력 전력, 효율은 각각 22.9 dB, 24.8 dBm, 41.3 %로 특성을 나타냈으며, 변조된 LTE(Long-Term Evolution) 신호에 대하여 인접 채널 누설비(ACLR)가 ?30 dBc 이하를 만족하며, 전력 이득, 출력 전력, 효율이 각각 22.6 dB, 23.1 dBm, 35.1 %의 특성을 나타냈다. This paper presents a 2-stage CMOS power amplifier for the 1.75 GHz band using a 0.18-μm CMOS process. Using ADS simulation, a power gain of 28 dB and an efficiency of 45 % at an 1dB compression point of 27 dBm were achieved. The implemented CMOS power amplifier delivered an output power of up to 24.8 dBm with a power-added efficiency of 41.3 % and a power gain of 22.9 dB. For a 16-QAM uplink LTE signal, the PA exhibited a power gain of 22.6 dB and an average output power of 23.1 dBm with a PAE of 35.1 % while meeting an ACLR(Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio) level of ?30 dBc.

        Bacterial diversity and its relationship to growth performance of broilers

        The microbial community is known to have a key role during the rearing period of broilers. In this study, gut microbial composition and diversity were examined to evaluate the relationships between these factors and broiler growth performance. By applying 454-pyrosequencing of the V1-V3 regions of bacterial 16S rRNA genes, six fecal samples from four- and 28-day-old chickens from three broiler farms and 24 intestinal samples of broilers with heavy and light body weights were analyzed. Microbial composition assessment revealed Firmicutes to be the most prevalent phylum at farm A, while Proteobacteria were predominant at farms B and C. Fecal microbial richness and diversity indices gradually increased from four to 28 days at all three farms. Microbial diversity assessment revealed that small intestine microbial diversity was lower in heavy birds than in light birds. In light birds, the Firmicutes proportion was lower than that in heavy birds. In conclusion, each broiler farm revealed a specific microbial profile which varied with the age of the birds. The microbial communities appeared to affect growth performance; therefore, gut microbial profiles can be utilized to monitor growth performance at broiler farms.

      • A Method to Evaluate the Quality of Clinical Gene-Panel Sequencing Data for Single-Nucleotide Variant Detection

        <P>Customized gene-panel tests, based on next-generation sequencing, have demonstrated their usefulness in a plethora of clinical settings. As with other clinical diagnostic techniques, gene-panel sequencing for clinical purposes requires precise quality control (QC) measures to ensure its reliability. Only detected variants are currently recorded in clinical reports; however, identifying whether a nondetected variant is a true or false negative is regarded essential in a clinical setting and, thus, a comprehensive QC measure is in demand. Conventional QC metrics, such as mean coverage and uniformity, are considered inadequate for such an evaluation. As such, a more specific measure focused on clinically important variants is herein proposed. In this study, we suggest a new scoring method for assessing the quality of clinical gene-panel sequencing data, specifically for the detection of a set of single-nucleotide variants. The performance of the method was analyzed using 2295 clinical samples (1012 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded and 1283 fresh-frozen tissues), and was shown to provide additional information that conventional methods do not show, such as mean depth and uniformity. Customized sequencing protocols, which include QC criteria, have been optimized by each genomic laboratory. The pass rate scoring method proposed in this study provides an appropriate QC response variable for the customized panel, which strengthens the reliability of calls on clinically relevant variants implicated in clinical reports.</P>

        Dual Bias Modulator for Envelope Tracking and Average Power Tracking Modes for CMOS Power Amplifier

        This paper presents a dual-mode bias modulator (BM) for complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) power amplifiers (PAs). The BM includes a hybrid buck converter and a normal buck converter for an envelope tracking (ET) mode for high output power and for an average power tracking (APT) mode for low output power, respectively. The dual-mode BM and CMOS PA are designed using a $0.18-{\mu}m$ CMOS process for the 1.75 GHz band. For the 16-QAM LTE signal with a peak-to-average power ratio of 7.3 dB and a bandwidth of 5 MHz, the PA with the ET mode exhibited a poweradded efficiency (PAE) of 39.2%, an EVM of 4.8%, a gain of 19.0 dB, and an adjacent channel leakage power ratio of -30 dBc at an average output power of 22 dBm, while the stand-alone PA has a PAE of 8% lower at the same condition. The PA with APT mode has a PAE of 21.3%, which is an improvement of 13.4% from that of the stand-alone PA at an output power of 13 dBm.
