        정신건강 증진을 위한 운동요법의 개발

        The purpose of this research was to development of the movement therapy. To achieve this purpose, 5 experimental case study was used as a research methodology. The results were as follows. First, the effective methods of movement therapy were dance therapy, swimming therapy, taekwondo therapy, and danjun breathing therapy. Second, I recommend to movement therapy those who are limbs handicapped, mentally retarded, the advanced age of seventies and fatted high school girls etc. Third, It took above half year to cure mental and psychological disorder. Fourth, The measurement apparatus of movement therapy effectiveness were SCL-90-R, anxiety text, RT, EEG, EMG, hart rate and blood pressure etc.

        맥주맥의 이면교잡에 의한 F_1세대에 대한 조합능력을 검정한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 8개 형질에 대한 GCA, SCA, RCA효과를 검정한 바 조합능력은 전 형질에서 GCA, SCA, RCA가 모두 유의하였는데 간장, 수장, 망장, 간직경, 곡핍폭, 1수립수 1000립중은 GCA가 SCA보다 크고, 품종간 GCA효과는 진양보리가 간장에서 부(-)이고, 삼도보리가 수장·망장·간직경·1000립중에서, 사천6호가 망장과 간직경에서, 진광보리가 곡립장에서, 두산29호가 곡립폭·1수립수·1000립중에서 각각 정(+)으로 높았다. SCA효과에서 수장은 두산29호×두산8호 조합이, 망장은 진양보리×두산29호 조합이, 간직경은 사천6호×진광보리 조합이, 곡립장은 진양보리×두산8호 조합이, 곡립폭은 진광보리×두산8호 조합이, 1수립수는 진양보리×삼도보리 조합이, 1000립중은 사천6호×두산8호 조합 및 두산29호×두산8호 조합이 각각 정으로 높았고, 간장은 삼도보리×진광보리 조합이 부로서 높았다. RCA효과에서 수장은 두산8호×남향보리 조합이, 망장은 진양보리×삼도보리 조합이, 간직겨은 사천6호×진양보리 조합이, 곡립장은 사천6호×진광보리 조합이, 곡립폭은 진양보리×삼도보리 조합이, 1수립수는 사천6호×두산29호 조합이, 1000립중은 진양보리×두산29호 조합이 각각 정으로 높았고, 간장은 사천6호×두산29호 조합이 부로서 높았다. Seven barley varieties in F_1 generation of the possible crosses among them were used to estimate the combining ability for eight characters, i.e., culm length, spike length, awn length, culm diameter, grain length, grain width, number of grains per spike and 1000 grains weight. Data for F_1 hybrid and parents were subjected to the analysis method proposed by Griffing. The results obtained were summarized as follows. mean squares of general combining ability(GCA), specific combining ability(SCA) and reciprocal combining ability(RCA) were significant for all characters observed. Mean squares of GCA were higher than those of SCA and RCA in culm length, spike length, awn length, culm diameter, grain width, number of grains per spike and 1000 grains weight. Variety Dusan#29 showed the highest GCA effect for number of grains per spike and positively high effects of GCA were observed from variety Samdo bori in spike length, awn length, culm diameter, 1000 grains weight, and from variety Jinkwang bori I grain length, from Dusan#29 in grain width, umber of grains per spike, 1000 grains weight. Also Jinyang bori showed negatively high GCA effect in culm length. In SCA effects, hybrids in Jinyang bori × Samdo bori were exhibited positively high for number of grains per spike and high SCA effects for 1000 grins weight were found positively in Sacheun#6×Dusan#8 and Dusan#29×Dusan#. In RCA effects, hybrids in Sacheun#6×Dusan#29 were exhibited positively high for number of grains per spike and high RCA effects for 1000 grains weight were found positively in Jinyang bori×Dusan#29.

        A New Malting Barley Variety, “Hojin” with Superior Quality, High Yielding, Early Maturing and BaYMV Resistance

        A new malting barley variety, Hojin was developed from the cross between Milyang 69 and Misatogolden whichhave good quality and Barley Yellow Mosaic Virus(BaYMV) resistance, respectively, by barley breeding team of the Yeongnamignated as Milyang 117 It was prominent and had good result from regional yield trials(RYT) for three years from 2002 to 2004and released as the name of Hojin. Hojin is resistant to BaYMV and tolerant to lodging in spite of longer culm than check vari-square meter and weight of 1,000 grain in Hojin were more and heavier than in Jinyang. However, number of grain per spike wasthe same in both varieties. The grain and malt quality of Hojin, such as germination energy, germination capacity, water sensitivityojinwas 5.09 MT/ha on field and 4.72 MT/ha on paddy field in RYT. This variety is suitable for double cropping system with rice inthe southern part of the Korean Peninsula.

        Effect of Barley Yellow Mosaic Virus (BaYMV)- Infested Soil on the Agronomic Characters of Three Different Barley Varieties

        Barley Yellow Mosaic Virus (BaYMV) caused significant reduction in barley yield and is difficult to control due to alive parasitic soil-borne fungus, Palmyra gamines that transmits the, virus. Previous studies have indicated that a virus-free soil could be infested by using virus-contaminated farming machineneries and implements. For the further confirmation of this finding, different proportions of BaYMV-infested soil were mixed into virus free soil. Three barley varieties (Hordum vulgarae, cv "Olbori", "Baegdong" and "Sacheon 6") were sown in pots treated with different rate of P. graminis-infested soil ranging from 0% to 100% in October 20, 2001. Results showed that BaYMV infection increased as the rate of infested soil increased. Initial symptoms were observed in a pots treated with 10% infested soil in all the 3 varieties of barley. "Olbori" had about 5% infection in 20% infested soil and about 10% infection in 40% or 50% infested soil and about 20% infection in 60% infested soil. In "Baegdong", the trend of BYMV occurrence was similar with "Olbori" but the time of severe infection was earlier than "Olbori". BaYMV infection in "Sacheon 6" was even earlier than "Baegdong" with much more severe symptoms than "Baegdong". The growth rate of barley was affected by about 19-22% when grown in 20% infested soil. As the rate of BaYMV infested soil increased the heading date was delayed but the maturing date was early in "Olbori" and "Sacheon 6". Also, reduction rate of culm length in 3 varieties increased with increase of infested soil content. However, "Olbori" showed the highest reduction. "Sacheon 6", have been characterized with long spike length, however was significantly reduced as the infested soil increased. On the other hand, spike length of "Olbori" was not significantly affected despite of increased of infested soil. The reduction rate of 1000 kernel weight was higher in large kernel size cultivar "Sacheon 6" and "Olbori" than small kernel size "Baegdong" as increase of BaYMV-infested soil content.

        Koji (Aspergillus oryzae) is used to ferment crude cereals of wheat to make a traditional alcoholic drink called Makkolli and industrial materials. It’s quality varies depending on the wheat quality. Four domestic wheat varieties (Kosomil, Jokyungmil, Geumgangmil, Baegjungmil) were characterized. They were found similar in pH (6.02 to 6.08) and total acid (0.105 to 0.120%) contents. However, amino acid content of Gemgangmil was the highest (4.46%) and that of Baegjungmil was the lowest (3.72%). The total bacillus number was highest in Kosomil (333×103CFU/ml) and lowest in Gemgangmil (60×103CFU/ml). On the other hand, the fungus number was 47×105CFU/ml in Gemgangmil and the other varieties had similar quantity. The content of Alpha-amlyase was the highest (500.01unit/g) in Kosomil followed by Jokyungmil and Gemgangmil, and the lowest was in Baegjungmil (353.32unit/g). The content of Glucoamlyase was the highest in Geumgangmil (5105.0unit/g) followed by Jokyungmil and Kosomil, and the lowest was in Baegjungmil (3880.0unit/g). Acid protease was the highest in Kosomil (3515.15unit/g) followed by Geumgangmil and Baegjungmil, and the lowest in Jokyungmil (1280.5unit/g). From the result, Koji made from Kosomil was found to be of superior quality.

        Wheat is one of the most important food crops in the world and provides 20% of nutritional requirement to the consumers in developing countries. The consumption per capita of wheat is persistent but the self-sufficiency has decreased owing to the less competitive world market and double cropping system with rice in Korea. This study was conducted to obtain baseline data on the selection lines with early maturity and good agronomic traits. Geumgangmil, a leading Korean variety, was crossed with CIMMYT’s line, and a DH (double haploid) line was released using pollens of Maize in Mexico. The 71 inbred lines were grown in fields at NICS, Miryang. The culm length of inbred lines were normally distributed from 37cm to 106cm, though that of the P1 (Geumgangmil) was 71 and P2 (CIMMYT’s Line) was 77cm. Especially, some lines were very short and measured below 50cm. The spike lengths of most of the lines were longer than that of P1 (7.5cm), but were normally distributed. The number of spikelet was less than that in P2 (19ea.), but was more than P1(10ea.). The heading day of most of the lines was between P1 (11th April) and P2 (25th April) and the maturity day of the lines was similar to P1 (1st June) but 5 lines showed 2~6 days shorter maturity period than that of P1. However, 20 lines were found to have 2~10 days longer maturity period than that of P2.
