Thakur, Jay Prakash,Park, Jun-Seok,Jang, Byoung-Jun,Cho, Hong-Gu Wiley Subscription Services, Inc., A Wiley Company 2007 MICROWAVE AND OPTICAL TECHNOLOGY LETTERS Vol.49 No.5
<P>A novel compact microstrip patch antenna is proposed for quad band, GSM850, GSM900, GPS (L1–1575 and L2–1227), and UMTS-2110 application for cellular telephone system. Design is particularly unique since it supports the new generation mobile phone where multiband operation with minimum size is greatly desired. Two microstrip line feeds placed in orthogonal directions are used for the excitation of the proposed antenna. Microstrip patch has been meandered to lengthen the electrical paths and to achieve quad frequency bands. Detail of design criteria with respect to physical parameters is described. Radiation Patterns and impedance bandwidths are measured and shown. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. GENERALIZED m-QUASI-EINSTEIN STRUCTURE IN ALMOST KENMOTSU MANIFOLDS
Mohan Khatri,Jay Prakash Singh Korean Mathematical Society 2023 대한수학회보 Vol.60 No.3
The goal of this paper is to analyze the generalized m-quasi-Einstein structure in the context of almost Kenmotsu manifolds. Firstly we showed that a complete Kenmotsu manifold admitting a generalized m-quasi-Einstein structure (g, f, m, λ) is locally isometric to a hyperbolic space ℍ2n+1(-1) or a warped product ${\tilde{M}}{\times}{_{\gamma}{\mathbb{R}}$ under certain conditions. Next, we proved that a (κ, µ)'-almost Kenmotsu manifold with h' ≠ 0 admitting a closed generalized m-quasi-Einstein metric is locally isometric to some warped product spaces. Finally, a generalized m-quasi-Einstein metric (g, f, m, λ) in almost Kenmotsu 3-H-manifold is considered and proved that either it is locally isometric to the hyperbolic space ℍ3(-1) or the Riemannian product ℍ2(-4) × ℝ.

This study was designed to find out the effect of Nosema spore on oxidative damagesand antioxidant defence in the midgut of tasar silkworm Antheraea mylitta. Higher levelof lipid peroxidation (LPX) and total hydroperoxides indicate the resultant oxidative stressin the Nosema exposed specimen. Increased superoxide dismutase (SOD) suggestsactivation of physiological mechanism to scavenge the superoxide radical producedduring Nosema infection. Higher activities of catalase and glutathione-S-tranferase on 18thd indicate adaptive behaviour of the tissue against oxyradicals. The results suggest thatNosema infection is involved in altering the active oxygen metabolism by modulating LPXand reactive oxygen species (ROS), which is indicative of pebrine disease disorder.
Sero-Prevalence of Viral Hepatitis B Infection in the General Population of Chitwan District, Nepal
( Dipak Mahaseth ),( Jay Prakash Sah ),( Aman Nigam ),( Anusha Magar ) 대한간학회 2020 춘·추계 학술대회 (KASL) Vol.2020 No.1
Aims: Hepatitis B is one of the most common viral infection worldwide. Almost one-third of the World´s population has been infected with this virus and about 350 million people live with chronic infection, sometimes causing jaundice and death of the patients. However, in developing countries like Nepal, hepatitis B infection is endemic with predominant vertical transmission leading to chronicity and death. Hence, the present study was conducted to access the prevalence of viral hepatitis B infection in the people of Chitwan district which represents almost all ethnic groups of people of Nepal. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 283 subjects attending International Reference Laboratory (IR-Lab), Bharatpur-10, Chitwan, Nepal during the period of six months (September 2020 to February 2020). The hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) was studied from the serum obtained from the participating subjects using the diagnostic HBsAg-ELISA kit. The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS version-24. Results: Out of 283 subjects tested for HBsAg, 74.2% (210) were male whereas 25.8% (73) were female. The subjects were from the age of 0.3 to 91 years old. The highest percentage of subjects participated in this research was 26 to 55 years old. Among 283 subjects, 2.5% (7) were diagnosed as viral hepatitis B infected patients. The prevalence of hepatitis B infection was higher (2.9%) in males than females (1.4%). The highly infected patients were the age group of 26-55 years old. The ethnic group, Gurung was found to be predominantly infected. Conclusions: In comparison to the previous report, our finding explores that hepatitis B infection has been gradually increasing even though the literacy of the urbanized population is satisfactory than the past. It is a big challenge for the Nepalese government for viral hepatitis elimination. Implementation of newborn HBV-vaccination, as well as social awareness and health campaigns, are required.
Addition Reaction of Cyclopropane with Magnesium Dihydride (MgH2): A Theoretical Study
Singh, Satya Prakash,Meena, Jay Singh,Thankachan, Pompozhi Protasis Korean Chemical Society 2013 대한화학회지 Vol.57 No.6
The addition reaction of cyclopropane with $MgH_2$ has been investigated using the B3LYP density functional method employing several split-valence basis sets. Both along the and perpendicular to the cyclopropane ring approach has been reported. It is shown that the reaction proceeds via a four-centered transition state. Calculations at higher levels of theory were also performed at the geometries optimized at the B3LYP level, but only slight changes in the barriers were observed. Structural parameters for the transition state are also reported.

The goal of this paper is the introduction of hyper generalized $\phi$-recurrent $(k,\mu)$-contact metric manifolds and of quasi generalized $\phi$-recurrent $(k,\mu)$-contact metric manifolds, and the investigation of their properties. Their existence is guaranteed by examples.
Prevalence of Hepatitis C Virus Infection among Nepalese Traumatic Patients
( Chandra Kant Yadav ),( Jay Prakash Sah ),( Aman Nigam ),( Anusha Magar ) 대한간학회 2020 춘·추계 학술대회 (KASL) Vol.2020 No.1
Aims: Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is a major public health problem in the world affecting millions of people worldwide. HCV is prominently associated with significant morbidity and mortality in developing and developed countries due to its serious liver complication. The prevalence of HCV infection is almost 170 million persons globally and 0.1%- 1.7% in Nepal. To eradicate the spreading of HCV, the Nepalese government has been running lots of campaigns since last many years. The main aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of HCV infection among the traumatic patients which would uncover the current status for the effectiveness of Nepalese health policy. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out among 265 traumatic patients attending Alive Hospital, Chitwan, Nepal during the period of 1 year (January 2019 to February 2020). The antibody produced against the hepatitis C virus was detected from the serum obtained from the patients using the HCV-ELISA kit. The data analysis was done using SPSS. Results: Among 265 patients tested for HCV, 74.0% (196) were male and 26.0% (69) were female. The patients were from the age of 0.6 to 84 years old. The patients with the age of 15-30 years were higher (37.4%) than another age group. 1.1% (3) out of 265 were positive for HCV infection. 98.9% (262) patients were negative for the HCV antibody. The prevalence of HCV was higher (0.754%) in males than females (0.284%) (P-value <0.05). The highly infected patients were the age group of 31-55 years old. Additionally, the Buddhist community was predominantly infected. Conclusions: We conclude that HCV infection in the central region of Nepal is decreasing as compared to the previous reports and is relatively lower than in another developmental region of Nepal. It might be a possibility that increased mortality due to liver-related causes and an aging population may have contributed to a reduction in infection.
