      • Single waveguide cell with double polarisations to generate standard electromagnetic fields

        <P>A new single waveguide cell for EMC testing, the uniform area of which is 0.216×0.296m, is presented. It is possible to change easily the polarisation of standard EM fields, such as the TTEM cell. The field uniformity of the proposed waveguide cell is compared to that of the TTEM cell. It is shown that it provides the standard EM fields with high field uniformity in dual polarisations simultaneously.</P>

        제철 공장 근로자의 산업재해에 관한 연구

        To investigate the relationship between physical health of workers and industrial accidents, a case-control study was carried out using matched samples of 87 injured steel industry workers and 87 non-injured steel industry workers. One group of people who experienced industrial accidents more than two times were case, and the other group of people who matched the type of work and duration of employment were control. We surveyed questionnaire between July 20, 1988 and July 22, 1988. The results were as follows: 1. The average age of injured workers was 39 years, and non-injured workers was 38 years. Duration of employment of injured workers was 8.4 years and non-injured workers was 8 years. 2. Visual acuity under 1.0 were 24.4 percent in injured workers and 19.5 percent in non-injured workers. Hearing threshold over 40 dB were 77.1 percent in injured and 60.9 percent in non-injured workers. 3. As for the Fugamachi classification method, 22.9 percent of injured workers and 20.8 percent of non-injured workers were group Ⅲ(suspected neurotics). 4. As for the item of CMI(Cornell Medical Index), injured workers were higher rates than non-injured workers in the item of C(cardiovascular system), M(inadequency), O(anxiety), P(sensitivity), Q(anger), and R(tension). 5. Especially, injured workers who had more than three times were higher in the item of C(cardiovascular system), M(inadequency), N(depression), P(sensitivity), Q(anger), R(tension) than non-injured workers.

        택시 운전기사의 호흡기증상과 폐기능 장해

        The prevalence of respiratory symptoms and impariments of ventilatory capacity were studied in a group of 74 taxi drivers in Inchon area. As a reference group. 94 office workers of same area, matched with cigarette smoking, were also included in this study. Taxi drivers complained of respiratory symptoms much more than reference group. Those were cough, sputum production, chest tightness and shortness of breath. The ventilatory capacities, FVC (forced vital capacity), FEV1.0(forced expiratory volume 1 second), MMF (maximal mid flow) and PFR (peak flow rate), were measured. All measured values of ventilatory capacities of taxi driver were significantly decreased than those of reference group. the rate(56.8%) of ventilatory capacity impairment in taxi drivers was significantly larger than those (14.9%) of reference group, and the most of them were restrictive type impairments. Also, Job variable, professional driver or not, was selected as important determinant for ventilatory capacity impairment.

        트리클로로에틸렌 취급 근로자의 건강장해

        We studied the degree of exposure to trichloroethylene and its impact on the health of 71 workers at 4 factories in the Inchon area in Korea during July 4 to 20, 1989. Trichloroethylene exposure was assessed with a symptom questionnaire, a CBC test, urinalysis, and test for serum GOT & GPT. To examine their degree of exposure, we measured trichloroethylene concentration in the air at the place, and urinary trichloroacetic acid concentration. This study revealed that trichloroacetic acid in urine and trichloroethylene in air had linear relationship with regression analysis. Age, dermatologic and hepatic symptoms were major determinants for discriminating the subjacts and the office workers.

        디지털콘텐츠 기업의 조직성과에 미치는 정보기술 영향요인과 파트너십의 조절효과

        Digital contents service is one of major emerging businesses to make the additional value as creating, managing, and distributing the digitalized contents. This provides new, innovative solutions to customers and business users, based on digital technologies and digitalized contents through converged devices such as smartphone, laptops, Internet devices (IP network) and set top boxes (IPTV). The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationship of influencing factors and organizational performance in digital contents company, including the moderating effect of partnership. 96 firms data were collected from the digital industry which create, manage, and distribute the digital contents in Korea. The statistical analyses show that IT flexibility and project management have a positive influence to organizational performance. However, IT integration has not significant influence. The statistical analyses of moderating effect show that partnership have a negative interaction effect with IT flexibility and IT integration. This study contributes to enhance the organizational performance by applying these results to strategy formulation and marketing plan of digital contents company.

      • Modular Fabrication of Hybrid Bulk Heterojunction Solar Cells Based on Breakwater-like CdSe Tetrapod Nanocrystal Network Infused with P3HT

        <P>We demonstrate the modular fabrication of nanocrystal/polymer hybrid bulk heterojunction solar cells based on breakwater-like CdSe tetrapod (TP) nanocrystal networks infused with poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT). This fabrication method consists of sequential steps for forming the hybrid active layers: the assembly of a breakwater-like CdSe TP network followed by nanocrystal surface modification and the infusion of semiconducting polymers. Such a modular approach enables the independent control of the nanoscopic morphology and surface chemistry of the nanocrystals, which are generally known to exhibit complex correlations, in a reproducible manner. Using these devices, the influence of the passivation ligands on solar cell characteristics could be clarified from temperature-dependent solar cell experiments. We found that a 2-fold increase in the short-circuit current with 1-hexylamine ligands, compared with the value based on pyridine ligands, originates from the reduced depth of trap states, minimizing the trap-assisted bimolecular recombination process.         Electric Power Steering(EPS) works with the help of an electric motor and a control unit which has some sensors. The motor runs on battery and will use electric power to assist the movement of steering when the driver turns the wheel. EPS system has many advantages over traditional HPS (Hydraulic Power Steering) system in space efficiency, engine efficiency and environmental problem. For exemple, Compared with a hydraulic power steering system that continuously drives a hydraulic pump, the EPS system drives the EPS motor only when necessary, resulting in reduced fuel consumption. EPS system is consist of many sensors and brushless motor(BLDC motor). The main function of EPS system is Assist control and Return control, damping compensation control, friction compensation control, Inertia compensation control. In this paper, the EPS system"s control logic for various functions that will be validated practically through HILS and vehicle.

        Scrubber 순환수의 불소제거를 위한 공정개발

        In the process using a variety of hazardous chemicals such as semiconductor or LCD process, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, such as harmful chemicals have been discharged into the exhaust gas. In general, in order to remove these exhaust gases, used a scrubber unit at the last stage. The wet scrubber of the scrubber units is makes a droplet through the nozzle by applying pressure to the liquid and the droplets are contacted at suspended gas flow so that suspended dust are collected, and is a device that can also be removed at the same time toxic gases. The wastewater from the wet scrubber in semiconductor process is not only harmful chemicals in the course of recycling, the fluorine compounds are highly concentrated. These fluorine compounds have devised a scrubber wastewater treatment by coagulation and filtration process using alum because it can adversely affect the human health. 94.5% of the fluoride was removed from the coagulation process, ecological toxicity was reduced to zero, the turbidity was removed by filtration to 99.4%.

      • 베이스기타 연주중심의 음악치료가 뇌성마비 청소년의 양측 손 기능에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 베이스기타를 적용한 치료적 악기연주 기법이 뇌성마비 청소년의 양측 손 기능에 어떠한영향을 미치는지 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 S시에 소재한 뇌성마비 복지관을 이용하는 청소년4명으로 선정하였으며, 음악치료 프로그램은 개별 세션의 형태로 1회기 30분씩 주 2~3회, 총 15회기로구성하여 진행하였다. 베이스기타 연주중심의 음악치료는 손의 기민성, 쥐는 힘, 양손 협응력, 연주의 완성도향상의 목적을 가지고 ‘현 튕기기(개방 현) 연습’, ‘반음계(chromatic) 연습’, ‘노래반주 연습’, ‘노래반주연습의 응용’으로 설계되었다. 대상의 손 기능 평가를 위해 사전과 사후에 작업치료 영역에서 사용되는 Purdue Pegboard 검사, Box & Block Test를 작업치료사가 개별적으로 실시하였다. 음악치료 측정 도구로 연구자는기능성 독립성 척도(Functional Independence Measure; FIM)에 기준하여 ‘반음계(chromatic) 연습’ 시 우세손, 비우세 손, 양손에서 관찰되는 항목을 설계하여 베이스기타 연주기술의 변화를 평가하였다. FIM 평가는주 단위 (1, 4, 7, 10, 13 ,15회기) 총 6회기의 세션 영상을 분석하여 각 회기 별 우세 손, 비우세 손, 양손의점수를 합한 값을 비교하고 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 음악치료 프로그램에 참여한 4명의 뇌성마비 청소년은Purdue Pegboard 검사와 Box & Block Test 평가에서 공통적으로 우세 손의 기민성과 협응력이 향상된결과가 나타났다. 더불어, 회기가 진행될수록 FIM 평가를 통해 각 대상의 베이스기타 연주기술이 향상되는것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 베이스기타 연주중심의 치료적 접근법이 베이스기타 연주기술의향상과 동시에 뇌성마비 청소년의 우세 손 기능을 향상시키는 재활 치료적 중재 방법이 될 수 있는 가능성을제시하는 데 그 의의를 갖는다. This study determined the effect of bass guitar-playing music therapy on the hand functions of adolescents with cerebral palsy. The subjects of this study were four adolescents who receive social welfare program in a center located in city S. Half-hour individual music therapy sessions were conducted two or three days per week for five weeks, consisting of 15 sessions in total. The music therapy program based on playing bass guitar was aimed at improving dexterity, grasping, and coordination of both hands of adolescents with cerebral palsy. The music therapy sessions were consisted of twanging the guitar string and practicing chromatic scale, accompaniment, as well as applied practices of accompaniment. In order to assess the hand functions, Purdue Pegboard Test and Box & Block Test were carried out by an occupational therapist, before and after the music therapy intervention. The researcher also designed modified Functional Independence Measure (FIM) to measure the differences of performance skills between dominant hand and non-dominant hand, and both hands during chromatic scale performances, by setting up lists of observed criteria. This modified FIM test was estimated by comparing and contrasting the total scores of dominant, non-dominant, and both hands, based on the analysis of six recorded sessions, once per week. The results showed that the four adolescents with cerebral palsy who participated in this program displayed the significant improvement in dexterity of dominant hand, in both Purdue Pegboard Test and Box & Block Test. Moreover, the subjects' performance skill of playing bass guitar enhanced, as evidenced in FIM assessment. Results suggested that bass guitar playing based music therapy could be a useful intervention in rehabilitating hand functions of adolescents with cerebral palsy.
