      • On the Locality Modeling of Web Access Stream

        Using mathematical method to model Web workload locality characteristics is established based on the study of entropy and coefficient of variation. Experiments show that these metrics can depict locality characteristics more properly and are much easier to use.

      • SNS 이용동기의 선택 선호도에 관한 한·중 비교 연구

        최근 참여, 공유, 개방을 핵심 키워드로 삼는 web 2.0은 정보기술의 발전과 미디어 환경의 변화로 인하여 페이스북, 트위터 등 다양한 소셜 네트워크 서비스(SNS)가 등장하였다. 이러한 현상은 스마트 기기의 보급과 함께 다양한 방식의 실시간 커뮤니케이션 활동을 가능케 했을 뿐만 아니라 단순한 여가시간 활용을 넘어 관계형성, 정보추구, 일상생활기록을 통해 개인의 다양한 개성을 표현하는 수준으로 확장되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 한·중 대학생들의 SNS 이용동기에 따른 선호도는 어떠한 차이점과 공통점이 있는지를 4가지 동기인 심리적, 사회적, 정보적, 유희적 동기를 중심으로 고찰하였다. 구체적으로 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)를 이용해 각 국가의 대표적인 10개 SNS를 선정하여 한·중 대학생들의 SNS 선호도를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국 대학생들의 SNS 이용동기는 사회적 동기(40.0%)가 가장 높았고, 중국 대학생들은 유희적 동기(33.6%)가 가장 높게 나타났다. 한편, 한·중 대학생들은 모두 SNS를 사용함에 있어 심리적 동기가 가장 낮은 선호 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 한·중 대학생들의 SNS 사용동기에 가중치를 반영하여 SNS 선택 선호도를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 한국 대학생들은 페이스북(24.0%)을, 중국 대학생들은 시나웨이보(24.3%)를 가장 많이 쓰는 SNS로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 한국과 중국의 대표적인 10개 SNS 민감도를 분석하여 향후 발전 추이를 예측하였다. 본 연구는 SNS 동기요인을 비교하는데 문화적 이질성을 한계로 들 수 있다. Recently, Web 2.0 represented by key words such as participation, sharing, and openness has vastly changed media-related environment and this change has resulted in the appearance of different Social Network Services(SNS) such as Facebook, Twitter and so on. This phenomenon not only enables people to communicate be engaged with different types of real-time communication activities, but also expands the activities to an extent of expressing one’s different characteristics through building relationships, seeking information, streaming life and a lot more. This study examined if the degree of preference based on use motives has differences and similarities on university students between Korea and China, focusing on 4 types of motives of psychological, social, informative, playful motives. Specifically, the study selected 10 representative SNS services of each country and analyzed SNS preferences of each student and analyzed the students’ in both countries utilizing AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). The results of the study are as follow. First, for Korean students, social motive has the most significant impact(40.0%) on SNS use motives. For Chinese students, playful motive has the highest impact(33.6%). On the other hand, both Korean and Chinese students shown psychological motive as the lowest significant factor. Second, this study analyzed SNS use motives reflecting weights of factors. The result shows that Facebook is the most frequently used SNS(24.0%) in Korea. It also shows that the most frequently used SNS in China is Sina Weibo(24.3%). Finally, the study predicted the future development tendencies of the representative SNS by using sensitivity analysis. The implications of these findings, limitations, and future research directions wee also discussed.

        Fabrication of nitrogen doped ordered mesoporous carbon derived from glucosamine with hybrid capacitive behaviors

        This paper introduces a nitrogen-doped ordered mesoporous carbon (NOMC) derived from glucosamine with hybrid capacitive behaviors, achieved by successfully combining electrical double-layer capacitance with pseudo-capacitance behaviors. The nitrogen doping content of the fabricated NOMC reached 7.4 at% while its specific surface area (SBET) and total pore volume reached 778 m2 g?1 and 1.17 cm3 g?1, respectively. A dual mesoporous structure with small mesopores centered at 3.6 nm and large mesopores centered at 9.9 nm was observed. The specific capacitance of the reported materials reached up to 328 F g?1, which was 2.1 times higher than that of pristine CMK-3. The capacitance retention rate was found to be higher than 87.9% after 1000 charge/discharge cycles. The supplementary pseudocapacitance as well as the enhanced wettability and conductivity due to the incorporation of nitrogen heteroatoms within the carbon matrixes were found to be responsible for the excellent capacitive performance of the reported NOMC materials.

        Research on Meshfree Method for Analyzing Seal Behavior of a T-DGS

        This paper presents a novel approach through the Meshfree weak-strong method based on radial basis function, to calculate the distribution of dimensionless pressure of T-groove dry gas seal (T-DGS). In order to avoid a singularity and improve the accuracy of results, linear polynomials were added into the radial basis interpolation and described gas film stress of T-DGS in the form of explicit function characterization. The opening force, gas film stiffness and leakage rate were obtained by the Matlab calculation program. Compared with the related literature, the error was less than 5%, indicating the feasibility of the simulation. The systematic simulation was used to analyze the multi-parameters for T-DGS under different working conditions. The results revealed the influence mechanism of the pressure, rotational speed, groove depth, film thickness and groove number on the sealing performance. By means of the 3D distribution diagrams of the sealing dynamic and static pressure, we found that dry gas seal could well adapt to high speed condition and the formation mechanism of dry gas seal opening force.

        Synthesis and Characterization of CdSe/CdS/N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine/Quercetin Nano-Composites and Their Antibacterial Performance

        We have discovered that quercetin, once coated on the CdSe and CdSe-CdS quantum dots (QDs), becoming highly water soluble. In the present work, we have successfully synthesized CdSe/CdS/N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine(NAC)/Quercetin nano-composites in the aqueous solution. The products were characterized using UV-vis spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, fluorescence spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) tests indicated that our nano-composite products are highly stable with homogeneous particle size and great monodispersity. Quercetin coated nano-composite CdSe/CdS/NAC/Quercetin showed different fluorescence behavior from that of CdSe/CdS/NAC. Most amazingly, the synthesized CdSe/CdS/NAC/Quercetin nano-composite exhibits strong antibacterial activity. The combination of the strong fluorescence and its antibacterial activity makes the quercetin modified quantum dots as a potential candidate for cancer targeted therapy and other cancer treatments.

        A Simulation Analysis and Experimental Research on T Groove End Face Seal under Mid-and-Low Speed

        Whether the dry gas seal in the low speed and large diameter of axle equipment can establish a stable gas film is essential to the stability of equipment operation. This is an inevitable requirement to maintain non-contact operation of dry gas seal in service. Choosing T Grooved dry gas seal which can realize bi-direction rotating and on the basis of optimized trough by Fluent software for simulation analysis. Obtain the influence rule of geometric parameters and operating parameters on the properties of T shaped groove dry gas seal under the low speed (<6000 r/min). At the same time, the law is verified through the experiment. The results show that the operating parameters, such as speed and pressure have obvious effects on the properties of sealing. Geometric parameters, like the groove depth and groove number have obvious effects on the sealing performance. Finally, the general principles in choosing working parameters and geometric parameters of T Grooved dry gas seal under low-speed were abtained: Groove number should be between 12~16, groove depth should be between 4~6 μm, sealing clearance between 2~4 μm. The research is instructive to provide theoretical support for engineering design and industrial application of T Grooved dry gas seal under mid-and low speed.

        Experimental and Numerical Research on the Laser Impact Welding of Ti/SS

        The welding of Ti/SS metal foil was realized by laser impact welding. The interface morphology and mechanical properties of welding specimens were studied by systematic experiments, and the experimental phenomena were revealed by smoothed particle hydrodynamics numerical simulation. Results indicated that the plastic deformation of the composite plate and the springback of the welding spot center were small under low laser pulse energy and enlarged under high laser pulse energy. Impinging jet, interface wave, and interface cracking were found at the micro-interface of the welding specimens. Increasing the laser pulse energy resulted in the transition of the interface waveform from straight to microwave and finally to wave primarily because of the change in interfacial impact pressure and effective plastic strain. Energy dispersive spectroscopy analysis showed that the trace element diff used at the welding interface, and no intermetallic compounds were formed. SPH simulation revealed that the thickness of the high-temperature layer was related to the thickness of the diffusion layer. As the distance between the test point and welding interface increased, the hardness decreased. The maximum tensile force of the welding specimens increased with laser pulse energy. The failure mode of the interface was welding spot edge fracture failure.

        Association of Alexithymia With Positive Symptoms in Chinese Chronic Schizophrenia Patients With and Without Obesity

        Objective A growing body of research suggests the presence of alexithymia (a form of social cognitive impairment) in patients with schizophrenia (SCZ), which may be related to their psychopathological symptoms. Patients with SCZ exhibit high rates of obesity. Interestingly, studies of the general population have found that alexithymia acts a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of obesity. However, little is known regarding the relationship between obesity, alexithymia, and clinical symptoms in SCZ patients. The study was aim to explore the relationship between obesity, alexithymia, and clinical symptoms in SCZ patients.Methods Demographic and clinical data were collected from 507 patients with chronic SCZ. Their symptoms were assessed with the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS), and alexithymia was assessed with the Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS).Results Compare with nonobese SCZ patients, obese SCZ patients scored higher on PANSS positive symptoms, TAS total score, difficulty identifying feelings, and difficulty describing feelings (all p<0.05). Correlation analysis revealed a significant association between difficulty identifying feelings and positive symptoms in SCZ patients. Further correlation analysis showed that this association was only present in obese SCZ patients (p<0.05).Conclusion Obesity may moderate the association between alexithymia and positive symptoms in chronic SCZ patients.

      • An <i>Echinococcus multilocularis</i> Antigen B3 Proteoform That Shows Specific Antibody Responses to Active-Stage Alveolar Echinococcosis

        <P>Alveolar echinococcosis (AE), caused by the Echinococcus multilocularis metacestode, represents one of the most frequently fatal zoonoses. Early diagnosis significantly reduces morbidity and mortality associated with AE. Diagnosis of AE largely depends on a combination of imaging and serological tests due to its minimal clinical manifestations. Several antigens derived from the whole worm and protoscolex have been targeted for AE serodiagnosis, while the antigenic properties of E. multilocularis hydatid fluid (EmHF) are unclear. We observed two AE-specific 6- and 8-kDa antigen proteoforms through an immunoproteome array of the EmHF. We identified these proteins as representing an E. multilocularis antigen B3 (EmAgB3) isoform, and the proteins were shown to be encoded by the same gene. We cloned the gene and expressed the recombinant EmAgB3 protein (rEmAgB3) in Escherichia coli. rEmAgB3 exhibited sensitivity of 90.9% (80/88 cases) and specificity of 98.5% (597/606 samples) by immunoblotting. The positive and negative predictive values were 89.9% and 98.6%, respectively. The protein did not show antibody responses to 33 AE sera collected during posttreatment follow-up monitoring. Mouse sera experimentally infected with AE protoscoleces began to demonstrate specific antibody responses to native and recombinant EmAgB3 6 months after infection. At that stage, fully mature metacestode vesicles that harbored the brood capsule, primary cell, and protoscolex were observed within an AE mass(es). The response declined along with worm degeneration. Our results demonstrate that the immune responses to this EmAgB3 isoform were highly correlated with worm viability accompanied with AE progression. rEmAgB3 is a promising biomarker for serological assessment of AE patients.</P>

        GOP Adaptation Coding of H.264/SVC Based on Precise Positions of Video Cuts

        Hierarchical B-frame coding was introduced into H.264/SVC to provide temporal scalability and improve coding performance. A content analysis-based adaptive group of picture structure (AGS) can further improve the coding efficiency, but damages the inter-frame correlation and temporal scalability of hierarchical B-frame to different degrees. In this paper, we propose a group of pictures (GOP) adaptation coding method based on the positions of video cuts. First, the cut positions are accurately detected by the combination of motion coherence (MC) and mutual information (MI); then the GOP is adaptively and proportionately set by the analysis of MC in one scene. In addition, we propose a binary tree algorithm to achieve the temporal scalability of any size of GOP. The results for test sequences and real videos show that the proposed method reduces the bit rate by up to about 15%, achieves a performance gain of about 0.28-1.67 dB over a fixed GOP, and has the advantages of better transmission resilience and video summaries.
