A Non-uniform Correction Algorithm Based on Scene Nonlinear Filtering Residual Estimation
Hongfei Song,Kehang Zhang,Wen Tan,Fei Guo,Xinren Zhang,Wenxiao Cao 한국광학회 2023 Current Optics and Photonics Vol.7 No.4
Due to the technological limitations of infrared thermography, infrared focal plane array (IFPA) imaging exhibits stripe non-uniformity, which is typically fixed pattern noise that changes over time and temperature on top of existing non-uniformities. This paper proposes a stripe non-uniformity correction algorithm based on scene-adaptive nonlinear filtering. The algorithm first uses a nonlinear filter to remove single-column non-uniformities and calculates the actual residual with respect to the original image. Then, the current residual is obtained by using the predicted residual from the previous frame and the actual residual. Finally, we adaptively calculate the gain and bias coefficients according to global motion parameters to reduce artifacts. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm protects image edges to a certain extent, converges fast, has high quality, and effectively removes column stripes and non-uniform random noise compared to other adaptive correction algorithms.

Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) films doped with iodine vapor have been prepared by casting a P3HT solution on glass substrates and their thermoelectric (TE) performances has been investigated. The maximum Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity of iodine-doped P3HT films were 386 μV·K−1 (at room temperature) and 4.7 × 10−1 S·cm−1, which is about five orders of magnitude higher than that of pristine P3HT films. The power factor of these iodine-doped P3HT films was estimated to be 7.0 μW·m−1·K−2 at room temperature, which is a relative high value for organic TE materials. The UV-vis spectra of iodine-doped P3HT films showed a slight red shift of the iodine-doped P3HT compared to those of pristine P3HT films. Atomic force microscopy images indicated the conformational changes in P3HT chains after treatment with iodine vapor. During this treatment, the P3HT chains self-organized into a more ordered structure, this organization improved the charge carrier transport capability and the TE performance of P3HT the films.
Dynamic modeling and analysis for transmission system of high-power wind turbine gearbox
Hongfei Zhai,Caichao Zhu,Chaosheng Song,Hua iju Liu,Guangfu Li,Fei Ma 대한기계학회 2015 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.29 No.10
As a key component to adjust the speed and torque, double-fed speed up gearbox plays a vital role in reliability and stability for thewind turbine system. Considering the base helix angle, normal pressure angle, position angle, rotation of carrier and the mesh of the ringgear and planet gear, a coupled dynamic model for high-power wind turbine gearbox transmission system, which consists of two helicalplanetary stages and one helical gear stage was established using the lumped parameter method in this paper. Numerical integration applyingthe explicit 4/5th order Runge-Kutta algorithm was used to solve the proposed model and the dynamic responses of transmissionsystem were investigated. Results show that the modal frequencies for the system are not coincided with the gear mesh frequencies of thestages. Then, the dynamic mesh forces of the 1st stage in different models are compared and analyzed in frequency domain.

The mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) has been extensively used in phylogenetics and species-level evolu tionary investigations. The lepidopteran family Tortricidae (leaf-roller moths), including the genus Grapholita, contains numerous species of economic importance, but for the majority of Grapholita species, their mitogenomes remain poorly studied. Here, we sequence and annotate the full mitogenome of Grapholita delineana, an important pest of hemp worldwide and compare it with the mitogenomes of two congeneric species available from GenBank. The G. delineana mitogenome is 15,599 bp long, including 37 typical mitochondrial genes and an A + T-rich region. Gene content, order and orientation are identical to other reported tortricid mitogenomes. Analyses of nucleotide diversity, Ka/Ks, genetic distance and number of variable sites together suggest that nad6 is the fastest-evolving gene among the mitochondrial PCGs of Grapholita. Our analyses indicate that Grapholita, as presently defined, is not monophyletic, confirming previous morphological and multiple-gene studies, using mitogenomic evidence. Our study provides information on comparative mitogenomics of Tortricidae especially Grapholita.

Three-dimensional (3D) graphene-based materials have attracted much attention in the field of supercapacitors for their large surface areas and fast electronic conductivity capability. Faradaic pseudo-capacitance materials inside the architecture can enlarge the electrochemical performance of the electrode. Additionally, metal porphyrins are negative electrode active materials for supercapacitors as they have potential high pseudo-capacitance, conductivity and N-doping. The design and preparation of the 3D cobalt-porphyrin modified graphene hydrogels (3D CoP/GHs) is an interesting topic. Here, we have fabricated the 3D CoP/GH by a two-step method. The composite electrode reaches a specific capacitance of 335 F g -1, twice that of pure GHs. At the same time, resistance of the electrode material decreases and the ion transfer is accelerated due to the addition of cobalt-porphyrin. After 10 000 cycles, the 3D CoP/GH maintains its stable specific capacitance retention of 94.11% indicating its excellent cycle life. The cycle life is much better than that of a hydrogel that has not been doped (81.63%) according to our previous work. Then we fabricated an asymmetrical supercapacitor which uses both the 3D CoP/GH and GH as the two electrodes (3D CoP/GHjjGH), and reaches an outstanding energy density of 30.40 Wh kg -1 at a current density of 1 A g -1 while the power density is 749.5 W kg -1.

The complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) of Mahanta tanyae was sequenced and extensively compared with all seven additionally reported zygaenoid mitogenomes. The M. tanyae mitogenome is circular, doublestranded, and 15,323 bp long. Gene content, gene order, and orientation are all typical of Lepidoptera, despite the existence of gene rearrangements for some other zygaenoid mitogenomes. Comparative analyses further showed that the incomplete termination codon T is consistently recognized in the mitochondrial cox1, cox2 and nad4 genes of all zygaenoid species, as well as in the nad5 gene in two limacodid species. Among 13 proteincoding genes, nad6 exhibits the highest evolutionary rate. The structure for each tRNA is highly conserved, including loss of the dihydorouidine (DHU) arm in trnS1 (AGN), but remarkable nucleotide variation exists, primarily in the pseudouridine (TψC) loops. Interestingly, in four species of Zygaenidae, the anticodons for trnS1 (AGN) are consistently UCU, instead of the routinely used codon GCU, in all three species of Limacodidae. In the intergenic region between trnS2 and nad1, a short sequence before the motif “ATACTAA” is present in the M. tanyae mitogenome that is unique among reported zygaenoid mitogenomes. In the A + T-rich region between the motif “ATTTA” and the microsatellite (AT) n element, some nucleotides were present for most zygaenoid mitogenomes, which is, to our knowledge, rare even in reported lepidopteran mitogenomes. Phylogenetic analyses based on the combined 37 mitochondrial genes confirmed the position of M. tanyae in Limacodidae of the Zygaenoidea.
