        There are more than forty pieces of materials related to Sima Xiangru and Zhuo Wen-jun. These materials roughly draw the the character of Sima Xiangru in the Song people's eyes by expatiating on the following aspects the mind of him, the style of his literature. the relationship of his literature and the literature of other dynasties. In Song Dynasty, the comments on Sima Xiangru not only inherited the early views, but also have something new which shows the unique digestion when the Song people studied Sima Xiangru From this we can also see that the different aesthetic preferance and literatural values among the Song scholars. So, an anaylsis on these materials about Sima Xiangru in Song ShiHua can help us to better understand and accept him.Song ShiHua, Sima Xiangru, BaiTouyin, mind and action, Song of Chu, shi, satirize 宋诗话中涉及司马相如和卓文君的材料多达四十则左右,这些材料分别对司马相如的思想行为,司马相如作品的风格,司马相如作品与历代文学的关系等几个方面作了较为详尽地阐述,粗略勾勒了宋人眼中的司马相如。在宋代,对司马相如的评价不但对前代的观点有所继承,发挥或补充修正,更有一些新的见解,表现出宋代文人研习司马相如的独特体会和心得,亦可见出宋代文人不同于前代的审美取向和文学价值观,因此,对宋诗话中与司马相如有关的材料作疏理,可以帮助我们了解宋人对司马相如的认识和接受。

        Bayesian case influence analysis for GARCH models based on Kullback–Leibler divergence

        Influence analysis has become an important tool for statistical analysis. This paper is concerned with Bayesian case influence analysis for generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity (GARCH) model. Case influence analysis is developed for both the joint and marginal posterior distributions based on the Kullback–Leibler divergence (K–L divergence). A simplified expression is presented for computing the K–L divergence between the full data posterior distribution and the case-deleted posterior distributions. The related computations can be done numerically by Markov Chain Monte Carlo samples from posterior distribution with full data. Some simulation studies are carried out to examine the performance of the proposed methods and show the relations between case-deletion model (CDM) and mean-shift outlier model (MSOM) for the GARCH models. Meanwhile, the methods are also illustrated by a real data.

      • Metabolic Profiling Identifies Metabolic Biochemical Pathways Associated with Recurrence of Hepatocellular Carcinoma

        Aims: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. The metabolic biochemical pathway disturbances associated with HCC progression and recurrence remain unsatisfactorily characterized. Dysregulated metabolism is a hallmark of cancer including HCC, manifested through alterations in metabolites. The emerging field of metabolomics has increased the hope of discovering metabolites and biochemical pathways as the novel biomarkers or therapeutic targets of HCC and tracking tumor recurrence. Methods: Metabolomic profiling was conducted with the Metabolon platform for one hundred and twenty human recurrent/non-recurrent HCC tumor/normal paired tissues. Standard statistical analyses are performed in the Partek Genomics Suite on log transformed data. Principal component analysis (PCA) was conducted using all and dysregulated metabolites. Random Forest classification was applied to compare tumor vs. adjacent margin tissues and recurrent vs. non-recurrent tumors using named metabolites. Results: We found that HCC recurrence is characterized by increasing glycolysis and glutaminolysis. Tumor recurrence was significantly associated with increasing of glucose, pyruvate, α-ketoglutarate and NAD+/NADH metabolites to increase glycolysis and glutaminolysis. Higher acylcarnitine levels in non-recurrent HCC indicate elevated fatty acid β-oxidation. Besides, we also found that Coenzyme A levels were higher and plasmalogen lipids were uniformly lower in recurrent HCC. Conclusions: Our study generates a comprehensive metabolomics dataset on HCC and highlight the massive reorganization of cellular metabolism as tumors progress and acquire recurrence feature.

        On the direct strength and effective yield strength method design of medium and high strength steel welded square section columns with slender plate elements

        The ultimate carrying capacity of axially loaded welded square box section members made of medium and high strength steels (nominal yield stresses varying from 345 MPa to 460 MPa), with large width-to-thickness ratios ranging from 35 to 70, is analyzed by finite element method (FEM). At the same time, the numerical results are compared with the predicted results using Direct Strength Method (DSM), modified DSM and Effective Yield Strength Method (EYSM). It shows that curve a, rather than curve b recommended in Code for design of steel structures GB50017-2003, should be used to check the local-overall interaction buckling strength of welded square section columns fabricated from medium and high strength steels when using DSM, modified DSM and EYSM. Despite all this, EYSM is conservative. Compared to EYSM and modified DSM, DSM provides a better prediction of the ultimate capacities of welded square box compression members with large width-thickness ratios over a wide range of width-thickness ratios, slenderness ratios and steel grades. However, for high strength steels (nominal yield strength greater than 460 MPa), the numerical and existent experimental results indicate that DSM overestimates the load-carrying capacities of the columns with width-thickness ratio smaller than 45 and slenderness ratio less than 80. Further, for the purpose of making it suitable for a wider scope, DSM has been modified (called proposed modified DSM). The proposed modified DSM is in excellent agreement with the numerical and existing experimental results.

        Enhanced CO methanation over Ni-based catalyst using a support with 3D-mesopores

        Ni-based catalysts supported on a support with 3D-mesopores, including Ni/KIT-6(EG), Ni/KIT-6(PS) and Ni/KIT-6(DS), were prepared by adding ethylene glycol, direct synthesis and post synthesis methods, respectively, and their catalytic properties were investigated for CO methanation as one of the core technologies of synthetic natural gas production in a continuous flow fixed-bed reactor. The catalysts were characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction (H2-TPR), hydrogen temperature-programmed desorption (H2-TPD) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), respectively. The results showed that Ni/KIT-6(EG) exhibited the best catalytic performance with CO conversion of almost 100% and CH4 yield of 75% at 450 oC, atmospheric pressure and 60,000 mL/g/h due to the higher dispersion of Ni species, stronger reducibility of NiO and formation of smaller Ni nanoparticles fixed into 3D-mesopores, indicating that adding ethylene glycol was effective to improve catalytic performance of Ni-based catalyst for CO methanation. Moreover, compared with Ni/Al2O3(EG) prepared using Al2O3 as a support, Ni/KIT- 6(EG) showed better catalytic performance owing to the higher specific surface area, stronger reducibility of NiO and confinement effect of 3D-mesopores promoting to produce more active sites. After 60h lifetime test of Ni/KIT-6(EG) at 500 oC, atmospheric pressure and 60,000mL/g/h, 3D-mesopores were still maintained and no obvious agglomeration of Ni nanoparticles was observed, meaning that Ni species were still well dispersed into 3D-mesopores. As a consequence, Ni/KIT-6(EG) exhibited superior catalytic performance and stability, which makes it a promising candidate for CO methanation.

        Comparison of Phenolic Compound Contents and Antioxidant Capacities of Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.) Fruits

        The characteristics, phenolic compound contants,and antioxidant capacities of 6 cultivars of loquat fruitgrown in China were evaluated. HPLC was used to identifyand quantify phenolics. Chlorogenic acid, neochlorogenicacid, 4-O-caffeoylquinic acid, protocatechuic acid, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, caffeic acid, ferulic acid, ellagic acid,and o-coumaric acid were the main phenolic compounds ofmature loquat fruits. Contents of chlorogenic acid,neochlorogenic acid, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, protocatechuicacid, and o-coumaric acid were all significantly correlatedwith antioxidant capacities determined using DPPH, ABTSradical scavenging activity, and ferric reducing/antioxidantpower assays. The ‘Taxiahong’ cultivar contained thehighest amounts of total phenolics and flavonoids and thehighest antioxidant capacity, while ‘Taipingbai’ showed thelowest. The high level of phenolic compounds andantioxidant capacities of some cultivars indicates that thesecultivars can be sources of bioactive compounds that arerelevant to human health.

        A preparation and performance study of glass-ceramic glazes derived from blast furnace slag and fly ash

        Glass-ceramic glazes have been prepared successfully via crystallization from blast-furnace slag (BFS), fly ash (FA) fluxed with potash feldspar and borax. The crystalline behavior of glass-ceramic glazes was investigated using differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric analysis (DTA/TG), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Results revealed that the major crystalline phases are anorthite (CaAl2Si2O8) and akermanite (Ca2MgSi2O7) and crystalline phases disperse well in glassy phases with a uniform size of 1 μm. Glass-ceramic glazes possess low density, low water absorption,perfect stain resistance, acid resistance and alkali resistance. The thermal expansion coefficient of glass-ceramic glazes is steady up to 800 oC with an average value of 7.2 × 10−6 /K. Final results suggest that BFS and FA have potential to be vitrified into economically and environmentally low-cost glass-ceramic glaze materials.
