Objectives: Intrahepatic recurrence is the major cause of death among patients with hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after curative surgical resection. Several approaches have been reported to decrease the recurrence rate. The objective of our study was to compare the clinical effects of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) combined with interferon-alpha (IFN-${\alpha}$) therapy on recurrence after hepatic resection in patients with HBV-related HCC with that of TACE chemotherapy alone. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data from 228 patients who were diagnosed with HBV-related HCC and underwent curative resection between January 2001 to December 2008. The patients were divided into TACE (n = 126) and TACE-IFN-${\alpha}$ (n = 102) groups for postoperative chemotherapy. The TACE regimen consisted of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), cisplatin (DDP), and the emulsion mixed with mitomycin C (MMC) and lipiodol. The recurrence rates, disease-free survival (DFS), overall survival (OS), and risk of recurrence were evaluated. Results: The clinicopathological parameters and adverse effects were similar between the 2 groups (P > 0.05). The median OS for the TACE-IFN-${\alpha}$ group (36.3 months) was significantly longer than that of the TACE group (24.5 months, P < 0.05). The 3-and 5-year OS for the TACE-IFN-${\alpha}$ group were significantly longer than those of the TACE group (P < 0.05) and the recurrence rate was significantly lower (P < 0.05). The TACE and IFN-${\alpha}$ combination therapy, active hepatitis HBV infection, the number of tumor nodules, microvascular invasion, liver cirrhosis, and the BCLC stage were independent predictors of OS and DFS. Conclusions: The use of the TACE and IFN-${\alpha}$ combination chemotherapy after curative hepatic resection safely and effectively improves OS and decreases recurrence in patients with HBV-related HCC who are at high risk. Our findings can serve as a guide for the selection of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy for patients with HBV-related HCC who are at high risk of recurrence.
An examination of financing structure in SMEs of China based on panel data
Xiaomao Zhang,Haizhen Li 인하대학교 정석물류통상연구원 2009 인하대학교 정석물류통상연구원 학술대회 Vol.2009 No.10
This paper using panel data investigates empirically how some main factors determine the financing structure of SMEs in China from 2002 to 2006. The empirical resutls reveal that the factors in a positive relationship with financing structure include the scale, the finance scrape, the asset structure, and the asset manage ability. The factors in a negative relationship with financing structure include the solvency, the profitability, the ability to generate internal resources, the revenue effect, the ability of convert assets to cash, and the ownership structure. Beside this, there is no significant relationship between financing structure and the character of ownership.

Changzhou Yu,Haizhen Xu,Chun Liu,Qinglong Wang,Xing Zhang,Fang Liu,Fei Li 전력전자학회 2019 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.2019 No.5
Mega-scale solar projects are turning to string inverters nowadays. Multi-parallel string inverters are employed as the interface to the utility grid, giving rise to potential unstable problems. Aiming at this issue, the relationship between number of inverters, output power and grid impedance is analyzed. Based on this, according to different topology, control structures and filter parameters, four types of Standard Equivalent Model (SEM) for multiinverters system are established. By analyzing the stability margin of the four SEMs and the sensitivity of their control parameters, the difference of stability between the string inverters and the central inverters is compared. Finally, the established SEM and the comparison results of the string and central inverters are verified by simulation and experimental results.

This paper proposes a novel seamless transfer method for microgrid connected fuel cell inverters (FCIs) between voltage source and current source modes. In order to protect the fuel cell, the FCI output power should be restricted when the microgrid frequency is greatly disturbed. In this sense, the FCI is transfered from voltage source mode to constant current source mode. Meanwhile, the FCI is transfered from constant current source mode to voltage source mode until service can be restored. The proposed method can cooperatively work with well developed virtual synchronous generator (VSG) control algorithm so that these FCIs are able to share load among them as well as subsist under transient events of the system. Theoretical analysis and experimental results validate effectiveness of the proposed method.
Flow field characteristics of an agitator system of a large diameter slurry-water shield machine
Junjie Liao,Kun Bai,Yi-Min Xia,Haizhen Li,Xianqiong Zhao,Xuemeng Xiao,Yang Wang 대한기계학회 2021 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.35 No.4
A numerical model was established for calculation in this study on the basis of the standard k-epsilon turbulence model and the discrete phase model of the Euler-Lagrange equation. Results of the particle image velocimetry experiment were used to verify the reliability of the numerical model. The effects of the rotation speeds, slurry densities, and impeller structures on the flow field characteristics, including velocity distribution, ballast fluidity, and power loss, were also investigated. The results indicate that the increase of rotation speed has little influence on the flow field near the wall and bottom of the agitator, and the agitator performs well when the speed is set between 30 rpm and 40 rpm. The increase of the slurry density will increase the pressure loss between the inlet and the outlet, and it will also increase the load of the agitator. Hence, the slurry density must be less than 1400 kg/m 3 . The baffle can improve the velocity distribution of the flow field and the slag discharge capacity of the agitator.
Cathepsin K Activity Controls Injury-Related Vascular Repair in Mice
Hu, Lina,Cheng, Xian Wu,Song, Haizhen,Inoue, Aiko,Jiang, Haiying,Li, Xiang,Shi, Guo-Ping,Kozawa, Eiji,Okumura, Kenji,Kuzuya, Masafumi American Heart Association, Inc. 2014 Hypertension Vol.63 No.3
<P>Cathepsin K (CatK) is one of the most potent mammalian collagenases. We showed previously the increased expression of CatK in human and animal atherosclerotic lesions. Here, we hypothesized that ablation of CatK mitigates injury-induced neointimal hyperplasia. Male wild-type (CatK+/+) and CatK-deficient (CatK−/−) mice underwent ligation or a combination of ligation and polyethylene cuff-replacement injuries to the right common carotid artery just proximal to its bifurcation, and they were then processed for morphological and biochemical studies at specific time points. On operative day 28, CatK−/− significantly reduced neointimal formation and neovessel formation in both single- and combination-injured arteries compared with the Cat K+/+ mice. At early time points, CatK−/− reduced the lesion macrophage contents and medial smooth muscle cell proliferation, the mRNA levels of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1, toll-like receptor-2, toll-like receptor-4, chemokine ligand-12, and the gelatinolytic activity related to matrix metalloproteinase-2/-9. An aorta-explant assay revealed that smooth muscle cell movement was impaired in the CatK−/− mice compared with the CatK+/+ mice. In addition, the smooth muscle cells and macrophages from CatK−/− mice had less invasive ability through a reconstituted basement membrane barrier. This vasculoprotective effect was mimicked by Cat inhibition with <I>trans</I>-epoxysuccinyl-L-leucylamido-{4-guanidino} butane (E64<I>d</I>). These results demonstrate an essential role of CatK in neointimal lesion formation in response to injury, possibly via the reduction of toll-like receptor-2/-4–mediated inflammation and smooth muscle cell proliferation, suggesting a novel therapeutic strategy for the control of endovascular treatment–related restenosis by regulating CatK activity.</P>

Two new compounds (1–2), including a bisabolane-type sesquiterpenoid (1), one new diphenyl ether derivative (2), together with 23 known compounds (3–25), were isolated from the fruits of Phyllanthus emblica. Their structures were elucidated by detailed spectroscopic analysis. All the isolated compounds were screened for the DPPH scavenging effects and cytoprotective effects against H2O2 induced PC12 cells injury. Compounds 12–15 showed significant DPPH scavenging effects with the IC50 values in the range of 3.25–4.18 lM. Among these potential antioxidants, compound 14 improved the survival of PC12 cells after H2O2 exposure without showing any cytotoxicity at the tested concentrations.

Cobalt-doped MoSe2/nitrogenated graphene composite has been successfully synthesized via a facile hydrothermal route and is investigated as an electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The as-prepared samples are well characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Raman spectrum. The results reveal that Co-doped MoSe2 nanosheets which are characteristic of few layers (2–4 layers) and abundant exposed active edge sites are well anchored on the nitrogen-doped graphene sheets to constitute robust composites. When evaluated as catalysts for HER, the obtained composites demonstrate superior electrocatalytic activities toward HER.

Jieguang Song,Yue Liu,Chunxiao Wu,Xueqing Yang,Huihui Luo,Chunyan He,Chengbin Li,Haizhen Yang 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2020 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.21 No.2
Cermet is a combination of metal and ceramic, it exhibits some special properties, so it is one of the most widely usedengineering materials. In this paper, the properties of encapsulated SiO2/Al cermet were prepared by powder metallurgymethod. Results showed that the density of SiO2/Al cermet is increased with an increasing Al content. When the Al contentis high, and the high temperature is sintered, the liquid phase can fully bond the surrounding SiO2 particles to form a relativelycontinuous and dense structure, thereby obtaining a high microstructure density. When the SiO2:Al ratio is increased from 1:1to 1:3, the hardness is gradually increased. The hardness and density of the sample are gradually increased with an increasingmolding pressure. The surface hardness of the cermet is increased first and then decreased with an increasing sinteringtemperature. When the SiO2:Al ratio is 1:3, the holding time is 10 min under molding pressure of 15 MPa, and the sinteringtemperature is 900 °C for 1 h, the surface hardness of the obtained coated SiO2/Al cermet is high, the value is 175.2 HV.
