      • Wearing Comfort Evaluation of Safety Shoes with a Ventilation System

        Objective: The present study is intented to evaluate a safety-shoe with a ventilation hole in terms of inside-shoe microclimate and wearing comfort. Background: Safety shoes have functions to protect a worker’s feet and provide proper fitness and thermal comfort. However, the workers are wearing safety shoes for more than 6 hours a day, so that the safety shoes are exposed to the problems of skin disease such as athlete’s foot. Method: Ergonomic tests were conducted with safety-shoe wearers in industry to compare with ventilation hole shoes with the patented ventilation system to without ventilation shoes without a ventilation system in terms of skin temperature, microclimate(temperature, humidity), local sweat rate, thermography and subjective comfort. Results: The skin temperature measured at the navicular bone was found less increased in with ventilation hole shoes than in without ventilation shoes on average by 0.1℃ during the rest period and 0.5℃ during the exercise and recovery periods. The inside-shoe temperature measured at the toe region was found less increased in with ventilation hole shoes than in without ventilation shoes on average by 0.6℃ during the rest period and 0.3℃ during the exercise period. The inside-shoe humidity measured at the toe region was found less increased in with ventilation hole shoes than in without ventilation shoes on average by 15.1% during the rest period, 11.1% during the exercise period, and 15.2% during the recovery period. The amount of sweat measured on the foot at the end of the experiment was found significantly less in with ventilation hole shoes than in without ventilation shoes on average by 34%. Conclusion: The present study found that the safety shoes with ventilation system were superior than general safety shoes by decreasing skin temperature, inside shoe temperature, and relative humidity and by increasing thermal comfort. Application: The air ventilation system of the safety shoes can be applicable to military boots or golf shoes to increase their thermal comfort.

      • An Ergonomics Improvement of the Flight Suit Sizing System and Pattern for Korean Pilots

        Objective: The present study is to conduct a survey of the wearing characteristics of flight suits from current pilots and to design from this survey a new flight suit pattern suitable for the physical characteristics of Korean pilots. Background: It is important to design an flight suit based on anthropometric data of pilots in terms of wearing comfort, Movement, and safety. Method: A pool of 563 pilots was surveyed in order to analyze the wearing characteristics. In order to confirm the improved effects of the newly designed suit compared to the current one, an evaluation was conducted by assessing the subjective satisfaction and objective functionality through a measurement of the range of motion. Results: Results of the evaluation have shown that significant improvements have been made in the areas of suit that many of the respondents had indicated as being uncomfortable, such as neck circumference, armscye circumference, and crotch. This was achieved through increasing the ease in respective parts of the suit using anthropometric data of the pilot in the design process, thus correcting the pattern of the uncomfortable areas. The areas that showed the greatest improvements were the ones associated with lengthwise mobility; the fit and the mobility of the overall flight suits have ameliorated by a significant degree. Conclusion: The improved sizing system using the Korean pilots' anthropometric data was revealed that it accommodates 96% of Korean pilot population and provides better results of objective and subjective evaluations than those of the previous sizing system. Application: The identified anthropometric features of Korean pilots would be applied to develop a proper sizing system and an ergonomic design of an flight suit for Korean pilots.

      • Development of a Draping Pattern Design Process for High-fit Gloves Based on 3D Hand Scan Data

        Objective: The present study developed design and evaluation method for a draping pattern of high-fit glove based on 3D hand scan data. Background: To design a high-fit glove, technology of a 3D hand measurement, hand shape analysis, and a draping pattern design are required. However, 3D hand scan data and the draping pattern design technology have not been applied to glove design so far. Method: The present study developed the draping pattern design for ergonomic high-fit glove based on 3D hand scan data through 3-step process: (1) 3D hand scanning and measurement, (2) development of glove draping pattern method, (3) development of glove evaluation protocol. Participants’ hand was fabricated as a plaster, and then plaster hand was scanned and measured by 3D scanning. Glove draping pattern method was developed through paper substitution method, dart manipulation method, and clearance extraction method. And evaluation method of fitness of high-fit glove was developed in terms of subjective satisfaction (e.g., fitness, clearance, ease of motion, ease of wearing), performance (e.g., peg-board testing), and pressure of hand areas. Conclusion: The present study developed the design method of a draping pattern design based on 3D hand scan data for a high-fit glove and the evaluation method of subjective and objective fitness for glove designed by draping pattern. Application: The method developed by this research can be applied to design high-fit glove for various purpose (e.g., pilot glove, sports glove, industrial glove) which required better fitness and ease of motion.

        한국 노인의 체형별 인체 형상 및 입체 패턴을 기반으로 한 고관절 보호대의 착용 특성 평가

        목적: 한국 노인의 인체 형상과 입체 패턴 설계 방법을 기반으로 개발된 고관절 보호대에 대한 착용 특성을 평가하여 착용 편의성 및 동작 용이성을 검증하였다. 대상 및 방법: 착용 특성 평가는 여성 노인 101명(60-85세)을 대상으로 설문지와 인터뷰를 병행하여 진행하였으며, 한국노인이 선호하는 벨트형과 속옷형의 기존, 개발 고관절 보호대를 사용하여 선호도, 착용 편의성 등을 조사하였다. 결과: 피험자들은 개발 고관절 보호대의 벨트형(65.0%), 속옷형(30.1%), 기존 고관절 보호대 벨트형(3.9%), 속옷형(1.0%) 순으로 선호하였다. 착용 편의성은 개발 고관절 보호대가 맞음새, 여유량, 동작성, 패드 위치, 패드 두께, 패드 사이즈, 소재, 디자인, 착탈의 용이 등 9개 항목에서 5점 만점에 4점 이상(1점 전혀 그렇지 않다, 5점 매우 그렇다)으로 나타났으며, 동작 용이성은 개발 고관절 보호대가 5개 항목에서 불편함이 개선된 것으로 나타났으며, 특히, ‘앉아있을 때 불편’항목에서 벨트형은 31.1%, 속옷형은 26.1% 개선된 것으로 파악되었다. 결론: 본 연구에서 개발한 고관절 보호대는 한국 노인 체형에 적합한 맞음새를 제공하고 낙상으로 인한 고관절 골절을 예방할 것으로 기대된다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify the new hip protector design with respect to the com-fort and mobility. The new hip protector was developed based on a pattern of draping and body shape of Korean elderly individuals. Materials and Methods: An wearing characteristics evaluation was conducted on 101 elderly women wearing hip protector using a questionnaire of preference and ease of wearing. Hip protectors, with existing and newly developed belt and underwear types, which were previously preferred by the Ko-rean elderly, were evaluated. Results: The newly developed belt type (65.0%) and newly developed underwear type (30.1%) hip protectors were preferred to the existing type (3.9%) and existing underwear type (1.0%) ones. The convenience of the newly developed belt type was greater than 4 out of 5 points (1 for strongly dis-agree and 5 for strongly agree) for all nine measures, including fit, allowance, mobility, pad placement, pad thickness, pad size, material, design, ease of dressing, and ease of undressing. The newly devel-oped hip protectors showed less discomfort than the existing ones. In particular, the newly developed belt type and developed underwear type improved sitting convenience by 31.1% and 26.1%, respect-ttively, compared with the existing ones. Conclusion: The hip protectors developed in the present study is expected to provide better fit for the body shape of Korean elderly individuals and prevent hip fracture due to fall.

        김수영과 신동문 시의 계량언어학적 분석

        이 연구는 김수영 시와 신동문 시의 어휘를 계량언어학적으로 분석해 보았다. 품사별 어휘 수, 어휘 사용 빈도, 어휘 다양도를 통해 두 시인의 어휘를 비교 분석하고, 고빈도 어휘 목록을 통해 어휘 사용의 특징을 살펴보았다. 어휘 수의 비율 면에서 보면, 김수영 시는 신동문 시보다 체언과 독립언의 비율이 높고, 신동문 시는 용언, 수식언, 관계언의 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 어휘사용 빈도의 비율 면에서 보면, 김수영 시는 신동문 시보다 체언, 관계언의 비율이 높고 신동문 시는 용언, 수식언, 독립언의 비율이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 어휘 다양도를 측정해 본 결과, 신동문이 김수영보다 고유명사와 감탄사를 제외한 모든 품사에서 더 다양한 어휘를 사용하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 품사별 고빈도 어휘 목록을 살펴본 결과, 김수영과 신동문 시에서 인칭 대명사 `나`의 사용이 높게 나타났고, 관형격조사 `의`의 사용이 매우 높은 점도 특징적이다. 또한 여러 품사에서 부정 표현이 고빈도로 출현하였다. 김수영의 시에는 신동문이 사용하지 않은 `집, 돈, 여편네, 아내, 엄마, 가족, 일하다`, `포로, 포로수용소` 등의 시어들이 등장하는데, 이를 통해 전쟁 체험과 수용소 생활, 가족 부양 등이 김수영의 삶과 의식에 영향을 미친 것으로 보인다. 신동문의 시에서는 김수영 이 사용하지 않은 `병사, 포복, 비행장` 등의 전쟁 관련 어휘들이 다수 출현하는데, 이러한 어휘를 통해 전쟁과 뒤이은 혼란 정국, 4.19 등의 역사적 변혁기를 거치며 변화되는 신동문의 사회 참여 의식을 살펴볼 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to analyze on the aspect of words in the poems of Kim Su-yeong & Shin Dong-mun. The poems of Kim Su-yeong & Shin Dong-mun were build to a corpus. And frequency analysis was performed to extract main words. The frequency of the entire poetic words was analyzed for each part of speech. As a result, the frequency of the postposition in the poems of Kim Su-yeong & Shin Dong-mun was appearanced highly. And perso n pronoun `I` was analyzed as a main word. Also this study analyzed NDW, TNW, and TTR to measure the diversity of words in the poems of Kim Su-yeong & Shin Dong-mun. Kim Su-yeong indicated higher numerical value than that of Shin Dong -mun in case of NDW and TNW. However, Shin Dong-mun indicated higher nume rical value than Kim Su-yeong in Type-Token Ratio.

        딸기 성숙도를 분류하기 위한 학습 모델의 프로토타입을 설계 및 구현하였지만, 흐릿한 객체는 탐지하지 못하고 선명한 객체만 탐지 및 판별하는 것을 확인하였다. 이를 해결하기 위해 이미지 처리 기술의 Sharpening을 이용하여 이미지의 객체 선명도를 높인다면 인식될 것이라 추측하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 딸기의 Blur 이미지 처리와 객체 탐지를 위해 OpenCV와 YOLO v3를 이용하였으며, 선명도의 다양한 변경에 따른 Blur 이미지의 객체 탐지 성능을 비교 및 분석하였다.

        윤동주 시에 나타난 감성 어휘 분석

        이 연구는 윤동주 시에 나타난 감성 어휘를 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 감성은 사람들의 경험을 바탕으로 형성되기 때문에 감성을 측정할 수 있으면 특정 경험이 그 사람에게 어떠한 감성을 불러일으키는지 추론해 볼 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 KNU 한국어 감성 사전을 활용하여 윤동주의 시 전집에 수록된 작품 총 119편을 모두 분석하였다. 감성 분석 결과, 긍정 어휘는 수치가 높은 순으로 ‘사랑, 희다, 아름답다, 맑다, 사랑하다’ 등이 나타났고, 부정 어휘는 ‘없다, 슬프다, 울다, 슬퍼하다, 무너지다’ 등이 나타났다. 윤동주 시에서는 긍정 어휘보다 부정 어휘의 비중이 더 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 긍정적 감성은 ‘사랑’, 부정적 감성은 ‘슬픔’이 지배적임을 알 수 있었다. 감성 분석은 감성의정도성에 대한 정량화가 가능하기 때문에 질적 연구와 양적 연구의 장점을 모두 취한 새로운 연구 방법으로, 문학 연구뿐만 아니라 교육, 정책, 마케팅, 병원 치료 등 다양한 분야에서 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to analyze emotional vocabulary in Yun Dong-Ju’s poem. In general, emotion depends on personal experiences, so we could know how people have a feeling about the experience by looking into emotional status. From this study, we analyzed a total of 119 of his works based on KNU Korean sentiment lexicon. It turned out that ‘words for good feelings’ in his poem were highly occupied, where they go in a way like ‘love, white, beautiful, clean and love.’ When it comes to ‘words for bad feelings’, they were in order like ‘be gone, sad, cry, bemoan and fall apart.’ What we found that Mr. Yun’s poem came with more negative words than positive words. The most part for the positive words was ‘love’, on the other hand, the most part for the negative words was ‘sad’. Emotional analysis is to quantify the degree of emotion and considered as a new method that brings up good advantages of qualitative research and quantitative research. It makes the analysis go with wide range of the application in many areas not only literature but also education, policy, marketing and even medical treatment etc.

      • 한국 여성 노인을 대상으로 한 피트니스 압박웨어 선호도 및 착용특성 평가

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the preference and wearing characteristics of existing fitness compression clothing for Korean elderly women and to identify the problems and improvements of existing fitness apparel. Background: Medical expenses used for health care and treatment purposes of the elderly are causing a large socioeconomic loss cost. Improving basic physical strength and muscle activity of elderly people can be a fundamental solution to the problem of elderly people"s medical expenses. Method: Twenty two Korean elderly women (60~70 years old) were evaluated for their preference and wearing characteristics of 12 fitness compression clothing. The preference was evaluated by presenting the evaluation clothing, the photograph and the design, and then the preferred design and the detail were examined. The wearing characteristics were evaluated on a 5 point Likert scale with fitness, allowance, pressure, ease of movement, fabric material, overall satisfaction after wearing the evaluation clothing at random. Results: The design preference was B type (26.6%), C type (23.4%), D type (15.6%) for top, and there was a preference of 19.4% for bottom, C type, E type and F type respectively. The fitness and the allowance amount of the top B type were the most appropriate (≥ 4), the type C was in close contact (2.86), and the type F was inadequate in the neck circumference (1.77). Slack C type and F type was not easy to wear (2.55, 1.55), but the muscle support effect was excellent (4.09, 3.82). The feeling of pressure was high in the waist circumference, abdomen circumference and thigh. Conclusion: The existing fitness compression clothing does not consider the body shape and the body characteristics of the elderly at the time of design, when the elderly wear it, it is not appropriate to fitness and allowance, and the feeling of pressure is felt in the specific part. Application: Application of this study to the design of fitness compression clothing for the elderly will not only provide a suitable fit for the body shape of Korean elderly women, but also help to muscle activation.
