아랍문화 속의 여성 : 여성에 대한 이슬람의 시각에 관한 연구

두아 가립 이브리힘 조선대학교 국제문화연구원 2008 국제문화연구 Vol.1 No.2

Women, the debatable subject, have of the society, the one side in the eternal dispute between male and female that is bursting with all the weapons of cunning, shrewdness and sensation. Dispute about which of the two sides more worthy of leadership, life management and decision is making. Because human civilization proved that survival is for those who could accomplish deeds-beneficial to humanity over its various stages of development, either in scientific or practical fields on one side or materialistic and spiritual on parallel side- four fingers point to the man while one points timidly to the woman (because woman is the last thing civilization can reach), as George Meredith put it. The reason behind this could be the sufferings women have undergone over consecutive historical periods and masculine obstinacy which passed through laws and systems established for managing life and which were controlled by the most powerful - the man. This led to diminishing the role of women in a spectacular way and even to erasing it and limiting it to childbirth and pleasure in many cases. It is to be noted that if man is basically responsible for what woman suffered and still suffers till now - of oppression, I think that women are equally responsible because of their submission and acceptance, even their indirect encouragement to whatman imposed on them. If we survey the history of the last five thousand years we can notice a difference between the beginning and the end regarding the look to women - her existence, conduct, value and meaning The beginning shows us the respectful lady, the great mother, the grand Goddess of earth…the grand mother. The end shows us the voluptuous body- source of lust, the twisted rib that needs straightening. Between beginning and end there is a wavering of women's position and value according to the culture of the society and its opinion and most important the religion that forms the first jurisdiction for the management of relations and various sides of life. One of the things that distinguish Islam from other- prior or later-principles and systems is its attitude towards women. Women enjoy a distinguished status in all aspects of life or religious dealings. Contrary to what is said, and as we are to prove through this paper Muslim woman enjoy many privileges many women, conferences and women-rights centers are struggling now to get. Islam confers on women all the political and social rights, which man enjoys. She is entitled to all the privileges bestowed upon man. Beside worldly matters, women are also equal to men in the spiritual sense. Allah says in the Quran: Surely, men who submit themselves to GOD and women who submit themselves to HIM, and believing men and believing women, and obedient men and obedient women, and truthful men and truthful women, and men steadfast in their faith and steadfast women, and men who are humble and women who are humble, and men who give alms and women who give alms, and men who fast and women who fast, and men who guard their chastity and women who guard their chastity and men who remember ALLAH much and women who remember HIM - ALLAH has prepared for all of them forgiveness and a great reward (33:36) This verse makes it clear that Muslim women stand on the same level with Muslim men and that they can attain to all those spiritual heights to which men can attain. At several places in the Quran, believing men and believing women are addressed in the same language and are made equally subject to the same commandments and entitled to the same rights and privileges. Only their duties are different because their spheres of activity are different. When the Quran speaks about the souls of human beings, it does not differentiate between man and woman.

Occurrence of Diadegma semiclausum, a parasitoid of diamondback moth in lowlands of Syria

        P. Kadirvel,R. Srinivasan,Lin Mei-ying,Ebraheem Al-Jouri,M. Walid Idraw,R.C. de la Peña 한국응용곤충학회 2011 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.14 No.1

The parasitoid, Diadegma semiclausum (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) is one of the most effective parasitoids of diamondback moth (DBM) in the highlands (N1600 mabove sea level) of Asia. A Diadegma population from the lowland areas of Homs, Syria (about 203–487 m above sea level) was examined to determine if it differs at the species-level from the D. semiclausum and other Diadegma populations present in different countries using molecular diagnostic tools. Phylogenetic analysis based on the neighbor-joining method using the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I (COI) and the nuclear internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2) sequences grouped the Homs (Syria) Diadegma population with D. semiclausum populations from other countries. The results suggest that D. semiclausum occurs in the lowland conditions in Homs (Syria), where the temperature is higher. The Homs (Syria) strain did not show any variations in the parasitism when the parasitized host (DBM)larvae were exposed to varying temperatures for 24 h. It could not survive when the parasitized DBM larvae were continuously reared at 35 °C; however it inflicted significantly higher parasitism when the parasitized DBM larvae were reared at day and night temperatures of 35 °C and 20 °C, respectively. Preliminary results indicate that the D. semiclausum strain from Homs (Syria) possesses some level of heat tolerance, which could be exploited for successful management of DBM in the tropical lowlands.

Pectoral nerve blocks for transvenous subpectoral pacemaker insertion in children: a randomized controlled study

Elhaddad Ahmed Mohamed,Hefnawy Salwa Mohamed,El-Aziz Mohamed Abd,Ebraheem Mahmoud Mostafa,Mohamed Ahmed Kareem 대한마취통증의학회 2023 Korean Journal of Anesthesiology Vol.76 No.5

Background: Postoperative pain management after pacemaker insertion routinely requires opioid agents, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or paracetamol. However, interest in opioid-sparing multimodal pain management to minimize postoperative narcotic use has increased recently. This study aimed to assess the pectoral nerve (PECS) block versus standard treatment on postoperative pain control and opioid consumption in pediatric patients after transvenous subpectoral pacemaker insertion.Method: In this randomized controlled study, 40 pediatric patients underwent transvenous subpectoral pacemaker insertion with either congenital or postoperative complete heart block. Patients were randomly assigned to two groups: Group C (control) received conventional analgesic care without any block and Group P (pectoral) received a PECS block. Demographics, procedural variables, postoperative pain, and postoperative opioid consumption were compared between the two groups. Results: In children undergoing transvenous subpectoral pacemaker insertion, the PECS block was associated with a longer procedure time; however, the cumulative dose of fentanyl and atracurium was reduced and the hemodynamic profile was superior in Group P compared with Group C intraoperatively. Postoperatively, the PECS block was associated with lower postprocedural pain scores, which was reflected by the longer interval before the first call for rescue analgesia and lower postoperative morphine consumption, without an increase in the rate of complications. Conclusion: Ultrasound-guided PECS blocks are associated with a good intraoperative hemodynamic profile, reduced postoperative pain scores, and lower total opioid consumption in children undergoing transvenous subpectoral pacemaker placement.

An investigation of the nuclear shielding effectiveness of some transparent glasses manufactured from natural quartz doped lead cations

        Kassem, Said M.,Ahmed, G.S.M.,Rashad, A.M.,Salem, S.M.,Ebraheem, S.,Mostafa, A.G. Korean Nuclear Society 2021 Nuclear Engineering and Technology Vol.53 No.6

The influence of lead cations on natural quartz (QZ) from Egypt as a glass shielding material for the composition with nominal formula (10Na2O - (90 - x) QZ - xPbO (where x = 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 mol %)) was examined. The studied samples are synthesized via the melt quenching method at 1050 ℃. The X-ray diffraction XRD patterns were confirmed the glass nature for studied samples. Moreover, the optical properties, and the transparency for all compositions were examined by UV-Vis spectroscopy. Also, the major elemental composition of the natural quartz were estimated via the X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technique. Further, the density and molar volume were determined. Furthermore, the nuclear shielding parameters such as, mass attenuation coefficient, effective atomic number, electronic density, the total atomic, and electronic cross sections as well as the mean free path, and the half value layer with different gamma ray energies (81 keV-1407 keV) were calculated. Besides, the results showed that the shielding behavior towards the gamma ray radiation for all glass samples was increased as the increment in PbO concentration in the glass system.
