How alopecia areata progresses

The course of alopecia areata (AA) is unpredictable. Up to 50% of patients will recover within 1 year even without treatment. However, the majority of AA patients will show irregular relapsing course, with multiple episodes of hair loss. Major prognostic factors include the extent and duration of disease. Many therapeutic options exist, and the recommended treatment approach for AA is based on age of the patient and the extent of disease. Commonly used therapeutic modalities include topical minoxidil, topical and intralesional corticosteroids for mild AA, and diphencyclopropenone (DPCP) for severe form of AA. Unfortunately, to date, there is no cure and all treatments are considered `off label`. For many reasons, it is difficult to assess therapeutic modalities for AA. There is high rate of spontaneous remission, and also paucity of randomized-controlled studies investigating treatment efficacy for AA. Long-term follow-up is not reported in many of the publications. One of the most important drawbacks is the great variation in treatment outcome evaluation. To minimize this factor, the Severity of Alopecia Tool (SALT) score has been used as a method for measuring extent of scalp AA. Recently, I and my colleagues introduced Alopecia Areata Progression Index (AAPI) which seems to represent a system capable of quantifying overall hair loss activity in AA patients with different severity. I hereby present about clinical course, prognosis, and measuring tool of AA.

레지스트리 하이브 파일 구조에서 sk(security key) 셀은 레지스트리 키에 대한 접근제한 기능을 제공한다. 따라서 sk 셀에 대한 악의적인 변조가 이루어진 하이브 파일이 사용된다면 공격자는 레지스트리의 비밀 정보를 알아내거나 이벤트 로그 감사정책, 휴지통, 프리패치 생성여부와 같은 보안과 관련된 설정을 조작할 수 있다. 본 논문은 하이브 파일을 셀 단위로 변조하여 레지스트리 키의 접근제한 속성을 조작할 수 있는 유효한 방법을 제시한다. 그리고 이러한 조작으로 인해 일어날 수 있는 보안 측면의 문제점과 의도적으로 변조된 하이브 파일에 남아 있을 수 있는 흔적에 대해 논의한다. In the Hive file format, the sk(Security Key) cell provides access control to registry key. An attacker can figure out secret information on registry or change the security set-up if she could apply modified hive files on system. This paper presents various methods to change access control of registry key by modifying or replacing cell on hive file. We also discuss threats by access control modification and signs of attacks analysis by modified hive files.

The spacer grid set is a part of a nuclear fuel assembly The set has a spring and the spring supports the fuel rods safely Although material nonlinearity is involved in the deformation of the spring, nonlinearity has not been considered in design of the spring. Recently a nonlinear response structural optimization method has been developed using equivalent loads. It is called nonlinear response optimization equivalent loads (NROEL). In NROEL, the extemalloads are transformed to the equivalent loads (EL) for linear static analysis and linear response optimization is carried out based on the EL in a cyclic manner until the convergence criteria are satisfied. EL is the load set which generates the same response field of linear analysis as that of nonlinear analysis. Shape optimization of the spring is carried out based on EL. The objective function is defined by minimizing the maximum stress in the spring while mass is limited and the support force of the spring is larger than a certain value. The results are verified by nonlinear response analysis. ABAQUS is used for nonlinear response analysis and GENESIS is employed for linear response optimization.
