Robust Control for Bidirectional Stabilization System With Time Delay Estimation
Shu-sen Yuan,Wen-xiang Deng,Jian-yong Yao,Guo-lai Yang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2024 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.22 No.4
In this paper, to address the problem of high precision tracking control for bidirectional stabilization system of marching all-electric tank, a continuous nonsingular terminal sliding mode (CNTSM) control method combined with time delay estimation (TDE) technique is presented. First, the nonlinear mathematical model of the bidirectional stabilization system with consideration of actuator dynamics is established. Second, the TDE method is invoked to estimate the unknown system dynamics and provide fascinating model-free structures. Then, a CNTSM surface and a fast TSM reaching law are constructed to guarantee finite-time convergence. The proposed controller no longer requires system dynamics benefiting from TDE, while ensuring high accuracy, fast convergence and good robustness against lumped uncertainty due to the CNTSM manifold and the fast TSM reaching law. The stability and finite-time convergence of the closed-loop system are analyzed applying Lyapunov theory. Extensive comparative results verify the superiority with the proposed controller.

Deng, Qi-Wen,He, Bang-Shun,Pan, Yu-Qin,Sun, Hui-Ling,Xu, Ye-Qiong,Gao, Tian-Yi,Li, Rui,Song, Guo-Qi,Wang, Shu-Kui Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2014 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.15 No.8
E-Cadherin (CDH1) genetic variations may be involved in invasion and metastasis of various cancers by altering gene transcriptional activity of epithelial cells. However, published studies on the association of CDH1 gene polymorphisms and cancer risk remain contradictory, owing to differences in living habits and genetic backgrounds. To derive a more better and comprehensive conclusion, the present meta-analysis was performed including 57 eligible studies of the association between polymorphisms of CDH1 gene promoter -160 C>A, -347 G>GA and 3'-UTR +54 C>T and cancer risk. Results showed that these three polymorphisms of CDH1 were significantly associated with cancer risk. For -160 C>A polymorphism, -160A allele carriers (CA and CA+AA) had an increased risk of cancer compared with the homozygotes (CC), and the similar result was discovered for the -160A allele in the overall analyses. In the subgroup analyses, obvious elevated risk was found with -160A allele carriers (AA, CA, CA+AA and A allele) for prostate cancer, while a decreased colorectal cancer risk was shown with the AA genotype. For the -347 G>GA polymorphism, the GAGA genotype was associated with increased cancer risk in the overall analysis with homozygous and recessive models. In addition, results of subgroup analysis indicated that the elevated risks were observed in colorectal cancer and Asian descendants. For +54 C>T polymorphism, a decreased risk of cancer was found in heterozygous, dominant and allele models. Moreover, +54T allele carriers (CT, CT+TT genotype and T allele) showed a potential protective factor in gastric cancer and Asian descendants.

Shu-Fen Li,Zan-Min Hu,Guo-Jun Zhang,Ying-Chun Yuan,Cong-Hui Wang,Wu-Jun Gao,Chuan-Liang Deng,Long-Dou Lu 한국유전학회 2014 Genes & Genomics Vol.36 No.3
Δ8-sphingolipid desaturase is characterized by itsability to catalyze desaturation at the C8 position of the longchainbase of sphingolipids in plants. No previous studieshave been conducted on genes encoding Δ8-sphingolipiddesaturases in the woody plant Populus tomentosa. In thisstudy, three genes that encode Δ8-sphingolipid desaturasewere isolated fromP. tomentosa. Among these genes, PtD8Aand PtD8B showed high sequence similarity; whereas PtD8Cexhibited large sequence divergence.RT-PCRresults showedthat PtD8A and PtD8B were expressed in all tissues detected, whereas PtD8C was not expressed in roots. Heterologousexpression in yeast revealed that PtD8A/B/C were functionalΔ8-sphingolipid desaturases, and can catalyze the C18-phytosphingeninedesaturation to produce 8(Z)- and 8(E)-C18-phytosphingenine.However, the conversion rate and ratios ofthe two products differed. Compared with control cells, transgenic yeasts expressing PtD8A/B/C exhibited enhancedaluminum tolerance. Our findings further elucidated thebiochemical functions and evolutionary history ofΔ8-sphingolipid desaturases in plants. Candidate genes forbreeding new poplar germplasm resources with enhancedtolerance ability to aluminium were also provided.

Dnd (dead end) gene encodes an RNA binding protein and is specifically expressed in primordial germ cells (PGCs) as a vertebrate-specific component of the germ plasma throughout embryogenesis. By utilizing a technique of specific nucleic acids associated with proteins (SNAAP), 13 potential target mRNAs of zebrafish Dnd (ZDnd) protein were identified from 8-cell embryo, and 8 target mRNAs have been confirmed using an RT-PCR analysis. Of the target mRNAs, the present study is focused on the regulation of geminin, which is an inhibitor of DNA replication. Using electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA), we demonstrated that ZDND protein bound the 67-nucleotide region from 864 to 931 in the 3`UTR of geminin mRNA, a sequence containing 60.29% of uridine. Results from a dual-luciferase assay in HEK293 cells showed that ZDND increases the translation of geminin. Taken together, the identification of target mRNA for ZDnd will be helpful to further explore the biological function of Dnd in zebrafish germ-line development as well as in cancer cells. Quality Adaptation of Intra-only Coded Video Transmission over Wireless Networks
Shu Tang,Yuanhong Deng,Peng Yang 한국정보처리학회 2023 Journal of information processing systems Vol.19 No.6
Variable wireless channel is a big challenge for real-time video applications, and the rate adaptation of realtimevideo streaming becomes a hot topic. Intra-video coding is important for high-quality video communicationand industrial video applications. In this paper, we proposed a novel adaptive scheme for real-time videotransmission with intra-only coding over a wireless network. The key idea of this scheme is to estimate theinstantaneous remaining capacity of the network to adjust the quality of the next several video frames, whichnot only can keep low queuing delay and ensure video quality, but also can respond to bandwidth changesquickly. We compare our scheme with three different schemes in the video transmission system. The experimentalresults show that our scheme has higher bandwidth utilization and faster bandwidth change response, while maintaining low queuing delay.
Distributed Fuzzy Resilient Tracking for Nonlinear MASs Under DoS Attacks
Shu-Huan Gao,Mengmeng Chen,Chao Deng 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2023 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.21 No.10
In this paper, the distributed fuzzy resilient tracking problem for a class of second-order nonlinear multiagent systems (MASs) under denial-of-service (DoS) attacks is addressed. Compared with the existing distributed fuzzy tracking results, a more general class of second-order MASs with DoS attacks under combined output observable situation are considered in this paper. Under DoS attacks, the second-order derivative of the traditional distributed observer does not exist, while this signal is necessary to solve the distributed fuzzy tracking problem for second-order MASs when using the backstepping method. To solve the problem, a hierarchical control method that consists of a cooperative resilient observer and a distributed controller is proposed. Specifically, a new distributed resilient observer state with a second-order derivative and also the function of defending network attacks is designed based on a combined output observable condition. By using the backstepping technique, decentralized fuzzy adaptive resilient controllers are designed to achieve distributed tracking under DoS attacks. It is shown that the distributed fuzzy resilient tracking problem can be solved under our designed method. Finally, second-order nonlinear MASs are provided to verify the effectiveness of our method.

In this study, banana biochar (BB) and cassava biochar (CB) were roasted in a tube furnace at 400℃ for 2 h, and their adsorption effects on malachite green (MG) were studied. The removal of MG with respect to the solution concentration and reaction time was also investigated. The results show that the optimal amount of biochar is 2 g/L. Studies of the adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherms show that the pseudo-second-order kinetics can most accurately reflect the adsorption process. Freundlich model fits the experimental data well. The theoretical saturated adsorption capacities of BB and CB are 1,092.80 mg/g and 261.42 mg/g, respectively. SEM-EDS, TGA, BET, FTIR, XRD, element analysis and other characterization techniques were used to explore the adsorption mechanism. Based on the characterization results, it is speculated that the adsorption of BB and CB for MG mainly includes chemical adsorption and physical adsorption.

To investigate the degree of stability deterioration in toppling dangerous rock mass under different action times, firstly, the vibration load generated by train travel in a single action and its decay law were studied, and the theoretical relational equation of rock strength deterioration under the action of vibration loading was obtained by analyzing the increase in half axle expansion of micro fissures inside the rock. Secondly, the freezing stress of the microfissures was determined according to the rock freezing and swelling theory, and the theoretical relational equation of rock strength deterioration under the action of freeze-thaw cycles was obtained by integrating the rock confinement and moisture migration conditions of the fissures wall. The stability coefficient of the toppling dangerous rock mass exhibited a rapid and then slow decreasing trend with increasing number of actions, which was non-linearly negatively correlated with the train running speed and the initial porosity of the rock, and non-linearly positively correlated with the freezing temperature. Controlling the freezing temperature and initial porosity of rock can significantly reduce the degree of deterioration in the stability of dangerous rock mass.
